Thank you very much you guys for this Excellent video, you guys take back my memories for more than 33 years.!! I am beyond THRILLED that you love Michoacán the way that I do. It is everything that you described. It has a depth and richness in culture, history, food, arts, and amazingly warm and friendly people. We were in Uruápan last Easter for the enormous artesanías Concurso (try and be there some time for that-vale la pena) where artisans from all over Michoacán gather to show the best of their handicrafts, food, music, dance. There is a judged show with absolute show stopper exhibits. It was OVER THE TOP! Absolutely loved it. We visited many of the same places that you did and enjoyed a meal at Gratissima; love everything avocado. You two are the best!!! Your sensitivity and appreciation of the culture matches my own. Oaxaca always holds a special place in my heart but Michoacán runs even deeper into my soul. Really look forward to your Día de Muertos video; am hoping you can dig deeper than Janitzio which is so overcrowded. So many wonderful spots to celebrate this very heart opening time. Hire a driver and let him take you around to some of the out of the way cemeteries that are so special and not so packed with tourists. Sending you muchos abrazos…

Wowww. So nice to see people njoy my state and sharing the humanity and camaraderie of the michoacan people. Thanks for 🐝 part of culture. Stay humble hermanos
My dad is from Uruapan and I live there three years part of 96, 1997, 1998 and part of 1999 the best years of my life Uruapan before the cartels took over and made a mess. People were still outside drinking in the corner. It was blast from the past! I went to school & worked..
You give so much interesting information! Looks beautiful there with the waterfalls. I also heard you can drink the water from a stream from a certain place in Taxco - so it's interesting that there are places in Mexico with fresh water.
I would go just to try an avocado from there. Looks like a neat spot thanks for showcasing these places in Mexico we would never have known about. See you next Sunday!
I just loved this video so much! I can feel your love for Mexico and it makes me so happy! That park was so gorgeous! I’ve been to so many countries around the world, including having lived in Spain, and no place calls to my heart to return to more than Mexico!
The food always looks so amazing even though I don’t eat meat! Curious since you eat all the local foods and raw vegetables if your tummies had to adjust in the beginning? I know on vacation people warn you to stay away from salads to avoid stomach parasites. Do you take anything (like probiotics)?
Hi Lynne! The enchiladas I had were vegetarian! No, our stomachs were fine. It may be because we’ve traveled extensively and have eaten street food and such all over the world - maybe our biome and the flora in our gut is strong? I am not sure. The couple times we have been sick though was always from “nicer” restaurants though!
@@TheCountryCollectors Absolutely my experience too, the bigger and the fancier the menu the bigger the risk of ingredients being kept hanging around for too long. In my experience, food prepared and served by women in Mexico will never make you sick.
i`m happy someone like you can see and admire all of the beautiful things that uruapan has too show you. I am from uruapan and when ever you come again i will be proude to show you a little more of my incredible city, thanks for showing people that our country isnt what all the news say all the time, there are incredible places and wonderfull adventures that wait for you!!
The banana trees that you see in the park are very special, the fruit has big seeds. It is the original banana. Probably it was brought to Mexico many centuries ago with slaves from Africa.

Nice of you to highlight Uruapan. It’s my parents home town where all of our relatives still live. My parents were the only two from their large prospective families that moved to the states. We were there for a week in August and this time last year. It’s definitely a hidden gem. Have some hot chocolate Moctezuma made only in Uruapan.

Wowww. So nice to see people njoy my state and sharing the humanity and camaraderie of the michoacan people. Thanks for 🐝 part of culture. Stay humble hermanos
Aww thanks for having us!
Omg . You did a great job of representing one of the most beautiful places in Michoacán Mexico. I have got to go back and visit again.
Thank you
My dad is from Uruapan and I live there three years part of 96, 1997, 1998 and part of 1999 the best years of my life Uruapan before the cartels took over and made a mess. People were still outside drinking in the corner. It was
blast from the past! I went to school & worked..
Thank you so much for sharing! 🙏❤️
You give so much interesting information! Looks beautiful there with the waterfalls. I also heard you can drink the water from a stream from a certain place in Taxco - so it's interesting that there are places in Mexico with fresh water.
Very cool!
I would go just to try an avocado from there. Looks like a neat spot thanks for showcasing these places in Mexico we would never have known about. See you next Sunday!
Thanks for being here with us!
The park was made by the hands of men... THE NATURE WAS MADE BY THE HANDS OF GOD... Just that phrase deserve my LIKE to the video. Thank you CC´s
Hi Francisco! That really hit me in the heart and stuck with me.
Thank you!
I just loved this video so much! I can feel your love for Mexico and it makes me so happy! That park was so gorgeous! I’ve been to so many countries around the world, including having lived in Spain, and no place calls to my heart to return to more than Mexico!
Aww 🥰 we now know why!
❤️❤️❤️
I lived in Uruapan for almost a decade wasn't born there but still appreciate you making this video
We appreciate you watching!
Wow! What a gorgeous parque. I love avocados. They are so healthy. I just made avocado brownies before I watched this😉
Ooo that’s a great idea! I bet they taste so good!
I was born and raised in Uruapan didn’t even know the history behind it thank you for sharing.
Our pleasure!
wonderful video. really enjoy the indigenous side of mexico. thank you
It’s our pleasure!

Hi Héctor! Thank you 🙏 for joining us!
Hola!
Hola Krystal! Gracias por ver! 👍 ❤️
The banana trees that you see in the park are very special, the fruit has big seeds. It is the original banana. Probably it was brought to Mexico many centuries ago with slaves from Africa.
Oh wow that is so interesting.
One of the best whether, in michoacan year around, love from mn,
❤️
Saludos Heidi y Adam.
Tendremos que probarlos la próxima vez. ¡Gracias!

Hello! I'm from Uruapan Michoacán and I feel very proud that you are making known the beauty of my small city! Congratulations👏 and thank you so much🙌❤️
Thank you! 😃
Wow how beautiful to have family living there! Thanks for sharing!

Hi John! Thank you so much!
