Can't find info of the place where you stayed, can you please post it?
Mexico has the most talented artists.
They sure do!
jose bronze sculptures were very impressive. european worthy. the museo de aguascalientes that was closed for them was small but very impressive both artwise and architecturally.
Welcome to Mexico, bienvenidos a mi tierra Aguascalientes

¡Cómo me gustaría volver a vivir allá! Thanks The Country Collectors, I'm glad that you liked my favorite city.
That’s so wonderful you enjoyed your time living there. Thank you for sharing that!!
Your video production is getting better and better! You're killing it kids!!!
We appreciate that! Always learning!
Oh come on! Tell us where you going for Xmas in Mexico!!??!
@@asphaltcandy no idea! We don’t plan ahead like that.
I think what I love most about Mexico is the culture and the people.
Us too!
You always seem to find such nice places to stay. It looks very nice.
Thank you Heidi does a great job with that!
Oldest bull fighting ring in Mexico that’s awesome ..
Pretty neat!
I live in Aguascalientes but my partner is from Australia and he found your videos when you were in Michoacan, remembering all the places I took him to visit. He was very excited that you were here in Aguas.
That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Aguascalientes, the city where nothing happens, and I just love it because of that. Excellent weather, excellent food, good living standards, good urban planning, and excellent public services. It´s a great place for non-party people that want to live a fulfilling and quiet life.
👍
They have one of the biggest fairs in Mexico though with lots of partying lol
You guys are great, and thanks to be part of my Sunday coffe morning time. Lots of history in Aguascalientes.
Hi Hector!! Thank you for making us apart of your morning! It means a lot!
This is Paul and Gloria... In Oaxaca.
Someday we may go to Aquascalientes as we have a new friend from there.
As always, the video gave us lots of places to see, & great information about the city 🏙️
We, and all of your followers, look forward to your videos on Sunday. It's a part of our Sunday morning
We just got back from Cholula & my University reunion & we move to our new rental house in Oaxaca tomorrow. We're busy!
Thank you for being here! Happy Sunday. Have a wonderful day!
My Grandad (who passed away a few months ago) was born and raised in El barrio del Encino, he loved it, he even wanted when he passed away his last Mass has to be celebrated in the Church De Nuestro Señor Del Encino, it was so awesome and so special to me that you guys showed to world the place where the most important person in my life was born and grew up as well the place where we said Goodbye to him before his burial, thank you guys, God bless y'all
Oh George. I am so sad to hear of his passing but so happy you got to share such a beautiful connection with him. Thank you for sharing that with us. I can imagine he was a very special person and he is always with you.
Moved here to AGS about 4 and a half years ago with the woman I'd just married who was born and always lived here. It's a great place and this list is a good one, but keep in mind folks, it's just a drop in the bucket of what there is to see and do here, and it's just one city! Thanks for posting this! Sending to quite a few friends and such!
Oh absolutely! That’s something people need to remember our videos are just our experiences. There is so much more to every place we go!
Love, love, love! Thank you both for showing everyone how beautiful Mexico is. Full of history and natural beauty Mexico is a country to visit! Saludos desde Illinois!!

Good morning Heidi and Adam! Happy Sunday!
Good morning!
29$ a night is not bad for an apartment room! Thanks for the tips on this place. I really loved the scenery and hominess of this area.
Oh yes it’s so inviting!
Great recommendations.. thank you for bringing us along on another awesome city in Mexico 😊

@@jillb9769 oh wow! That is so sweet of you. We do not have a mailing address here in Mexico though. Thank you for the thought tho!
I really loved the train yard. Thanks for sharing that part of the city. I can see why it would have been the largest hub as its location is north of Mexico City on the way to the US.
Exactly!
Thanks for the entertaining video ,wow how clean the streets, I live near San Francisco CA and the streets in downtown SF aren't half as clean !
Oh extremely clean!!
AGU has reputation for being one of the cleanest (and safest) cities in all of Mexico. That is why i visited this past summer to check it out and see if I could live there. Definitely clean, especially the public spaces downtown. Felt very safe too

I was so excited to see you in my home state, Aguascalientes. I am from Calvillo. Although a small state, I actually find it very pleasant due to its cleanliness, calmness and small town vibe. Is true that there is not much to do here besides its fair, but its people is know for being the nicest people in Mexico. Wow, you actually know more than me about my state. You guys are awesome.
Hey!! Oh yes it was so clean and you’re right - such nice people!

I was living near, Varrio Encino 🇲🇽
I Love Aguascalientes
Very cool!
What a cool railway station
When train travel used to be a lot more popular.
awesome. NOTE for star wars fans: the bronze relief sculptures are actual historic people frozen in carbonite (...Han Solo in Empire strikes back ring a bell?). Some believe that Boba Fett is the Chupacabra and stores Mandalorian bounties in equatorial museums on planets in systems on the outer rim. But who chews on a styrofoam agua cup? chew chew! I give this one hug, yet extra cool cuz that green and white bug is sweet!
side note: bronze reliefs have been created for many years - some by famous artists and others behind the scenes. this is definately a place to see work by a master!
I’m not sure who chewed on that it wasn’t us haha!!
👍
Muchas gracias!

i was very empressed with jesus contreras bronze scupltures. Looked like european quality to me. very impressive inventory of his work in his little plaza next to theatre. would like to see more of his work and think i read it is all over mexico city
I’m so happy you tried my aunt & uncle restaurant! La mestiza!! Wow we been there many times never knew about the Museum! So nice to see that part of Aguascalientes! 🥰
It was delicious!! We are so happy we went!
La mestiza was my favoriate fast spot so far in AGU. Finally, authentic chilaquiles, not touristy junk. Not sure which museum you're referring to, but I thought the Museum de AGU that was closed for them was one of the highlights of my trip there. I felt like it was a small sliver of culture that you find everywhere in DF, but that can be hard to find in regional cites and pueblo magicos
@@gametime-bw3zk I was referring to the Jose Guadalupe posada museum!
I've lived here for 10 years! Best place to raise a family! ¡Bienvenidos! 😘&🤗
That's wonderful to hear!
@@TheCountryCollectors Next time you're in town, please be our guests. Saludos. 😘🤗
Aww thank you
Thank you so much for your lovely videos, which have helped me to rekindle an appreciation for my husband’s homeland. I have to say, lately, your videos have become very fast-paced, which makes me kind of dizzy. I wanted to see more of the dancers! More of the artwork! More of the people. It was over way too soon. I’m happy to watch longer videos! But keep up the amazing work - yours are my favorites, and I look forward to them every week! Blessings. 🙏🏼💙
Sorry you feel that way! They are more so an overview of our time spent in a place than a deep dive. I do understand what you’re saying.
I like how you do the recommendations at the end. Thanks for another great video of this beautiful country you two!
That’s great to hear! Thank you!
I've never seen milk in those kind of jugs, now that's fresh milk!
Seriously!!
That train museum must be one of the best ones in Mexico for train nerds. Let's hope Mexico will invest on a high speed rail network -- some time later this century.
That would be great!

We enjoy your videos so much. At the beginning of this year we spent 40 days in Mexico. Started in Ajijac, then Chapala, Tequila, from there I took a cab by myself to Magdalena and was able to convince a mine owner to let me mine opals for the day. After Tequila we stayed in historic Guadalajara for a few days. Throughout our travels people kept telling us we needed to see Guanajuato, so on the day we were to come home decided to extend our trip. My husband hired a young driver to take us all the way. Guanajuato is spectacular. Everyone should watch your video about it. I could go on and on about that trip. But we are booked for a second trip.
We have one way tickets leaving the U.S. December 29. We will be in no hurry to rush home as we already have snow at our house and by then we could have snow up to the rafters. The first part of our trip is planned and booked. First stop is Mazatlan for New Years (5 days), then Ajijic (7 days), Guadalajara (7 days), Fly to Mexico City (+/- 14 days). From there ????? We were thinking perhaps Oaxaca and then from there fly to somewhere in the Yucatan. Then spend a month making our way down to Belize. If you have the time, I'd love to know where you would go back to if you were taking our path. Also I would love to surprise my sweet husband with an adventure or 2 or 3 along the way... Any ideas? I'm willing to do just about anything except skydiving, cliff jumping, ect. lol. Thank you for all your funny, honest, information packed videos. We wish you all the best. Safe travels.
Wow! Thank you so much for the support and sharing your story with us! Sounds like you have had quite an adventure already! Take your time for sure! It’s the best way to experience a place, especially one as big and diverse as Mexico 🇲🇽! You definitely have a great plan to start with! Definitely check out the beaches on the coast of Oaxaca. Puerto Escondido, Mazunte, Zipolite (the only nude beach in Mexico) and Huatulco. After that the Yukatan had so many wonderful places and cenotes. Cozumel is beautiful and had amazing scuba diving 🤿, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and Xcaret is a must! Stay for the show at the end! If you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask! Enjoy the adventure!
@@TheCountryCollectors Thank you for taking the time to respond. Looks like we are in for another big Mexico adventure. Do you travel outside of Mexico? For one of our 2024 trips we are planning a 60 day (+/-) South East Asia trip. Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

José Guadalupe Posada is the most important mexican artist of modern times: he gave to Rivera, Khalo, Orozco, Siqueiros and many others, the ground to understand the ‘mexican symbolism’, syncretism and our idiosyncrasies. It didn’t make the fuss of Frida, Rivera, but Posada is The Guy to understand the graphical culture of Mexico: every Día de Muertos’s t-shirt, postal card, ‘Papel Picado’ scene, political cartoon is a voluntary or not tribute to Posadas The Genius.
Thank you for sharing this so we can all learn some more about him.
@@TheCountryCollectors 💀
thanks for sharing that insight. i walked thru museum but got tired of translating the entire history of his work. but the amount detail about his work in the museum is understandable given your placing him in context of other artists. Frankly, i also loved the bronze sculptures of jesus contreras all over AGU and i loved the paintings of Saturnino Herran at Museo de AGU
@@gametime-bw3zk let’s ask to this museum guys to put informative information in Spanish too. Saturnino was an important creator but in a minor importance, even his portentous talent and technique.
