Fascinating town! Feels like a dream - as if a waterfall, streaming down a hillside, suddeny petrified into colorful stones and a city was built around wherever the stone-fall meandered. The bug ride and especially the gondola ride add to that dreamlike feeling. How the gondola is right in the city like that. That seems like something people do in a dream and then wake up and think, "oh, that could never happen." Like having a flying machine that stays close enough to the Earth that you could just zip across town in it! Silversmithing your rings also adds to the dreamlike feeling of overall adventure in the area - very cool! "The Legend of the Taxco Rings" that, when brought together, release great powers of awesome video production.

We absolutely love 💕 how you described Taxco! It really did feel like that. So much of it like you said - the taxis, zocalo, landscape, the gondola. All of those memorable experiences have left a mark on our heart. Thank you so much for being here and sharing this with us Jay.

Thank you Gary! It truly is such a special spot. There’s a lot of history there. I forgot to mention that the indigenous hid that mine when the Spanish arrived so they wouldn’t exploit it and only mined about 2% of the minerals in it! Pretty cool they found it when remodeling because patrons kept hitting their heads on a beam so they went to dig out the floor and bam!! A mine!

Such a fun video - love Sunday morning with y’all 💗🥳
I cannot wait to go exploring there and I know to bring my appetite- so many yummy dishes to try.
By any chance - did you guys notice vegan dishes there?

Hi Glo!! Good morning ☀️ thank you for being here. No we didn’t notice any vegan dishes here unfortunately. I mean .. some veggie tacos and salads but nothing stood out like a vegan restaurant.

Taxco was the first place were the Flor de Noche Buena was born , it even grow natural in the mauntains ...Poinsett who was USA embassador in México took the flower to the United States a renamed Poinsettia.....! But his real and original name is "Flower of Christmas eve or Christmas eve Flower or Good Night Flower" (since prehispanic times this flower was domesticated), a more romantic and beuty name...!

That’s exactly what we strive for! We want you to feel like you’re there with us. Wish we could make more but it takes about a week to travel, plan, film and edit one video! Maybe in the future we can get there, but unfortunately the workload is too much for that now. 😊

Depending on who you ask, there’re 31 or 32 states. Some people considered Mexico City a state. De jure is not a state but de facto it is. It’s official title is a “federal entity” which is a title that every state has. That’s why there’s confusion.
