As a Brit living in Panama I have to say that your video is possibly the best intro to Panama City I have seen yet. Too many don't seem to have done any research at all, and seem to know nothing! One thing I like about the city is that wildlife is not far away - like the heron in the fish market. There are racoons in the sea wall between Casco Viejo and the fish market, and I have even (just the other day) seen crocodiles in the city centre - 2, including a very large one, in the river that comes out at the end of the Cinta Costera. I am going to recommend your video to friends who I am trying to get to do the long flight to here to visit, let's hope it works!

I am not sure. I know you can take a ferry to Isla Taboga for the day. And I’m sure by car you can drive out of the city and reach some not too far away.
You have to drive or ferry 1.5-2 hours for nice beaches (Portobello, Punta Chame, Coronado, Rio Hata or Pearl Islands). Remember the canal and all the Ships are near he city….
