Her place has changed but her smile is still the same 3 years later that has never changed what a joyful adorable woman 🧡
you are so sweet ❤
@@nchong9689 awww 😗
I love Natalie. She is one of my favorite designers.
She is a wonderful designer. I love her style as well ❤
thank you so much ❤
One of the reasons why I like house & home house tour vlogs is they showcase the interior without the designer interrupting on the screen the interior designer explains the beauty of their designs seating & not going around the house. Thats why they have more views than the other house vlogs. Keep it up.
😅You have never seen Never Too Small? Many of their vids have mils of views, and Local Project as well
I want to be her friend 😂😂. Natalie is so lovely and so so talented! I love what she did with the rental. Amazing.
So sweet ❤
I always like her touch with IKEA and she agrees.. IKEA furnishings kinda have its own appeal added to what natalie can do... Its a winner!
I did not know Natalie, I'm glad I discovered a great designer that has the ability to mix high and low in such a unique way. I am a big Ikea fan too and love warm white furniture (as long as the covers can be washed). Well done! Your landlord is for sure very happy ;)
Aww thank you!❤
Finally, a practical functional design that looks classy but unpretentious. Well done 👏
Love it! It's the perfect example of save and splurge, and is a very approachable concept to design.
It's always impressive to see how creativity can transform even the most compact spaces into functional and stylish havens. ❤❤
thanks so much ❤
Beautiful condo with lovely updates. Lucky landlord. Love the jungle wallpaper.
One of the nicest condo designs! Looks high end. Well done.
'What would my childhood self have wanted in my room?' Such a great approach!
❤❤
I wanted my bedroom painted red and, later, checkered walls... never got any. Now, I have a black bedroom
@@LeticiaAGentil I wanted a red carpet in our sisters' powder room. Never got it either.
@@ginacrusco234 that would be even better!
Colors?
Natalie Chong! Yayyyy! Oh how I’ve missed your spaces. Welcome back. ❤
Thank you! ❤
Congratulations on your dream house! I can't wait to see it!
Wow! the whole place is just lovely and the walls in the baby's room is something I wouldn't mind having for my bedroom....very creative person...I love Ikea because they give you a great base to start with, the rest is up to you....
The landlord is so lucky to have you design the condo. Cute & cozy space! I love your bedroom accent wall color, could you let me know what brand/color you picked? Thank you!!
It is a custom lime wash!
1:48 I felt super and genuinely emotional by seeing that picture... ...so touching 🌬☁️🤍✨🙏🏽
One of my favorite Canadian Designers! Love her aesthetic!
And thank you for sharing your ‘mistakes’. It’s really refreshing
Who else is happy to see normal sized houses design
Stunning. Cane and brown looks fresh.
So nice to see some colour, which makes a space feel cozy. And I love those kitchen glass tiles, dated or not!
Ha! I really like the kitchen backsplash.
Me too🤭
me too
it's dated
"Dated" just means "not trendy right now". That's the least meaningful measure for successful design.
It feels very 2000 Dexter Miami condo, and 2010 house flippers every kitchen almost 😂 it had its days
Beautiful!
So good to see you again !!!! I love your style ❤
❤❤
Lovely!
Love, love the colors! Thank you!
Haha I'm actually obsessed with the glass backsplash it looks soo good
Wonderful
This was great to hear and see because i also struggle with how much to spend on something that i might not keep... and with things that fit vs. what i love...thanks for the tips❤😅😊😂
Love love this beautiful home stunning ❤
Thank you! ❤
Beautiful and stylish home
Natalie is such a fun, fabulous personality! And I LOVE what she did here. I am a bit concerned that the living/dining area might be a bit crowded with too much going on there but that is an observation, not a criticism, let me be clear. You have to do what you have to do make a space work for you and if this works for her and her family--and looks great at the same time--then kudos! Oh yeah, I LOVE all the IKEA hacks and that wallpaper in the nursery! I'd hire Natalie in an instant if I could afford her and she lived in Houston! 😁
Our table is only 42” actually. So it fits 5 people around it well! I didn’t want anything smaller or else it wouldn’t be usable for our family moving forward. But obviously anticipated more space… then you move in. I was also 7months pregnant…
I really like the way she changed the condo using affordable stuff.
Sooooo good
Natalie is back!
😊
Natalie is the best! So talented!
Thanks lady! ❤
@@nchong1207 you are very welcome!
Hope we get to see home number three from her too!❤
Still my favourite designer on H&H by a mile
Wow fantastic hacks all around She is one my best designer She definitely not in the “BOX” and thinks beyond to create a beautiful cozy space! Hmmmm hope the landlord pitch in the expenses lol congratulations to you and your family ❤
They didn’t. Oh well… we got to enjoy it and make a video!
The Tilt of Guilt in the old house, lol.
Really like the new space though.
Could you tell me where the handles from your IKEA shoe cabinet are from? (Hate our cabinet, but love what the handles do to it - well done!) Thanks!
My millworker made them for me!
@@nchong9689 Nice. Thanks for responding (love the apartment and I'm with you: regardless of how long you're in a space, make it yours!)
I truly love and love your taste
Love love EVERYTHING you did ! What color are the walls in the powder room ? Where did you purchase the art in the small bath ? The hand touching the butterfly ?
bagus bgt yak itu drawer sepatu trus atasnya dikasih marmer. jd lebih luxe. bisa nih jd inspirasi kalo mau beli ikea tp mau dicustom jd luxe
Nice❤
How did you attach the kitchen shelves to the tile? Did you plant to leave or take them with you? Love your designs. My husband and I are moving into an apt in which we might stay five years.
My millworker installed it into the walls for me!
Always love Natalie's videos! Looking forward to her next space where the furniture pieces have more room to breathe!
thank you! IG has it all ❤
Renovating a new dream home OR building a new dream home? Or renovating AND building, perhaps by renovating an existing space and adding a new space to it?
Both 😅
Can you please let me know where the vase on your dining table is from and also the pillow with flowers
Beautiful space! Where's the tropical palm tree wallpaper in the kids bedroom from?
From Forest Home Stores. Called Frais.
Wow a response from you. Thank you! I’m ordering hehe
Love this redesign! I am working on my own condo to refresh and I enjoyed the IKEA upgrades as well. I would like to know where the designer sourced the drapery rods that she attached to the ceiling? I would like to do this as well.
custom rods! Always custom. It’s too much of a hassle to get them from a store. Also these are ceiling mounted. Which not all brands allow that.
@@nchong1207 Ahhh got it. Thanks so much for your reply! 😊
Where are the wall sconces in the the master bedroom from!? 😍
Oh my goodness, did she pay for all of these upgrades in a rental property? Hoping the landlord picked up the tab for a free designer improving the property.
The landlord probably didn't pick up the tab. But don't worry, You Tube advertisers are!
I think they know how to get products for free. Just by advertising for them or something like that.
We collaborated on just the wallpaper. But I still had to pay to get it installed. We paid for everything else.
❤❤❤
She is a dream tenant
What a diva!
To be honest, I expect a highchair and more toys with a 2-year old. But I guess they really clean it up before the shoot.
I love the backsplash! Glad she doesn’t find it offensive.
Can you please share where you got those custom IKEA Stall show cab handles????
Custom!
Custom!
Does Natalie has her own RUclips channel?
Too much work haha. My editing skills are not like H&H 😅
Could I please get the details for the quilt/doona cover in the bedroom. Thankyou!
The duvet cover is from Wilet.
@@nchong9689 Thankyou!
Was the travertine dining tables and chairs custom?
Yea, she said she customed them
If you can share link to your Amazon drapes would be amazing
I wouldn’t get them again. They screwed up on too many details. I spent almost the price of the drapes to fix them locally.
Gosh, that’s too bad. I really enjoyed this episode, so relatable and you RARELY ever hear or see a professional being so open to their design boo boos and budget friendly solution ie ikea hacks.
Anyone know where the ceiling light in the master bedroom is from?
Light House Co!
Amazon drapes… Please tell me how you order these Amazon drapes. They look so gorgeous. Are they even better than pottery barn?
I wouldn’t get them again. lol. They aren’t as good as pottery barn and they are poly.
@@nchong1207 Thanks for responding. Are your curtains on a rod or on little rollers? I’m only 5’2” and I have to get on a costco stepping stool, the metal ones, just to close my curtains daily. BTW, I’m looking at ordering silk curtains from a guy in India through ebay. It’ll still cost around $3,000…which makes me so nervous. Ethan Allen wants $8,000. My current torn silk curtains were purchased years ago, brand new, in SF for $90/panel from a local guy who is no longer around. I can’t find the silk ones anywhere for a reasonable price. Also, I had cotton ones custom made through a designer for another room, and they are far better than the Pottery Barn ones, for just a few hundred dollars more in the end, maybe total of $1,800-$2,000. They’ve beautiful and thick cotton ones. Love your videos. Keep them coming!
Really beautiful design. The only thing I would correct is the sofa area which seems too cramped. But I understand this is because of lack of space and space already shared with the desk area; and also that everything is temporary. :)
*aficionado
I'm confused! Why do all of these upgrades in a rental??.
For the reasons she stated n the video. Listen to her.
Because it is home for her and her family.
First time ever I don’t like the place it feels crowded like a furniture store with too much inventory. 😢
Sad Beige Mom
Way too cluttered!
Beads and links lying on books and painting an accent wall in a room feel outdated to me. I usually like her designs, but this one has too much white and looks crowded, in my opinion.
The beads felt 5 yrs ago ngl and the coffee table the 2yo hasnt bump onto it but what abt the kneecaps of adults? 😅
Not everything in life is about a mother's bland and selfish cookie-cutter gusto. A newborn needs lively COLORS and CONTRASTS to stimulate the brain.
