for this series in general, I would like for the reveal section at the end to last a bit longer, hear more of their opinions and discussions of each others spaces, instead of just oh wows
I think they limit discussions and opinions because it’s like a personal project, so there’s no criticism or opinions needed…if you get what I’m saying
19:08 The three of their designs together just reminds me of a neapolitan ice cream, like there's vanilla, there's strawberry, and there's chocolate ice cream 🍨🤍🩷🤎
I know there are probably structural reasons for not making that back wall entirely glass, but it's all I can think of looking at this space...a huge window wall with the skylights would be *chef's kiss*
Honestly the load is on the other side walls. I can see there being a truss In the wall that may perhaps have a horizontal beam at wall height. But you could put a supported window below it or a triangle in the center of the beam.
I wasn't a super fan of Noz's design until the pink lightning. Then I fell in love, it's such a fun room. But my favorite design was Hema's. What a cozy and cute space! I love what she did with the chimney, sitting area, storage, plants, desk...everything! I liked how well organized and put together Kat's design looked, but I would get depressed working in a room that dark 😭 Still looked really nice though.
I was thinking about all the aspects of each design that I liked and what a design I would make would have in common or edit. All of them had some great features!
I absolutely love Noz's design. It feels so whimsical and fun for a working environment and making sure the space is accessible was really great to see.
@@LvMeijel Not to mention the giant 'S' table carving the entire space into a cramped maze. It's an accessibility nightmare even for people without mobility issues.
I usually have a fave; however, I liked each one for different reasons. I also appreciate that the panel of designers reflect greater diversity, which I appreciate.
The first episode where I love all of them. Hema wins for me, I didn't think I'd like it but she brought it all together. Noz and Kat were on different ends of the spectrum but both so cohesive and well executed. Great episode. (Also AD, we need these videos weekly please.)
so glad that AD is still doing this series! I think i've seen all of them at this point... always so interesting to see what each designer does differently
I'm so happy that an elevator was brought up! I love turning attics into spaces for daily use, and always wanted that for myself. Since I started using a walker/wheelchair to improve my quality of life, that no longer felt like an option for me, I never would have thought about the possibility of an elevator suitable for residential use. It truly brings me so much joy and makes me hopeful for the future of accessible design! Accessibility doesn't have to feel sterile, "imperfections" and differences are a part of what makes nature so beautiful, and we are nature.
I absolutely love Hema's design! It looks so bright and happy and inviting, very cozy with the coffee space and relaxing area, and my favourite is the painted motifs in the shelf - such a cute touch that makes all the difference and it goes so well with the plants in the room too!
Hema wins for me with the light airy space, the actual desk and a coffee break corner. Don't like what she did with the beams though. Loved the color before. The paintings on them looked to my like someone had forgotten to take the plastic coverings off, before installing them.
I love Noz's design here because it feels very cohesive. I love the way she made the chimney wall a cool focal point for the space. This is the kind of office that would generate creative ideas. All in all, well-done!!!
I love love love this series but must say I was a tad disappointed nobody leveraged the moodiness of an attic to make a dramatic library style office with floor to ceiling bookshelves. That said, I adore observing the creativity of these designers, especially Noz's organic shapes
Noz is my pick. I like how noz kept the light coming through the ground. Feels an absolute shame the others covered that. My pragmatic self goes nuts seeing Hema taking out the support beam witthout adding another support.
Hema balanced out that horrid asymmetrical jutting chimney in a way that looks effortless. The hanging plants, the light fixture, and the wall shelf all helped.
@@eschwarz1003 Hema's room is aesthetically pleasing because it's mathematically perfect, like a great painting or musical composition. It actually takes a lot of skill and sophistication to balance out the room's proportions in a non-straightforward way. It largely uses the law of averages to achieve this effect. The gold wall shelf juts out to a lesser degree than the chimney, but the light fixture just even more. Ditto for the hanging plants whose average height about equals the chimney's. Btw the sides of the wall shelf mimic the chimney's rectangular trapezoid shape, which is also visually harmonious.
Kat took the chimney and replace it with her shelves, the only one that respected the actual space that it took visually is the one with the crazy colors, Hema put plants that are difficult to water.
i really like this series for just being a flood of ideas and creativity bringing in materials, shapes, functions of a room that can go overlooked in ready-to-sell modern decor noz has also been a personal favorite personality of mine because of her reservoir of artists/designers and the way she interprets the prompt seriously as if she herself WILL move into these spaces tomorrow
Thank you AG. I've been waiting for another one of these. I don't mind seeing the same type of room, or even the exact same room, given a remodel by a different set of three designers.
Agreed. They also don’t need to keep finding new spaces or room. Would happily watch more bedrooms, kitchens etc. The novelty is each designers creativity rather than a never done before idea.
hema's designs are always so thoughtful and practical! Love that clean bright beach vibe but also the idea of the coffee drinking station. It's so fun to see the contrast between the three girls' designs. noz did an amazing colorful and playful design. i just wish the floor was different because there's a lot of people with fear of heights and privacy would be reduced, you could see what is happening below your feet and whoever was downstairs could see you on your workspace... kat did a darker yet modern vibe which is awesome. I love all three and it's amazing how there's so much diversity and creativity!
Kats design is the best one for me; very well put together. Hema's is a nice getaway space. It's lacking cohesiveness. That table begs for chairs. No zen. Naz's space is a bit too crazy cluttered. That desk eats it up like a river. Overall, a very interesting show. Thank you!
the first lady's design is soo great and cute, i love her placement of the chandelier so much. and her adding the plants made me want to visit the room
Hema’s design is literally my dream office space, I would adore her to design my space if I win the lottery, her thought process and creativity took my breath away, absolutely stunning!!
I always love Noz's creativity. I don't know how the designers do this without any constraints/client personas. Kat's design was the frontrunner for me until the end when Hema added plants. Wow! So inspiring. I'm off to buy some plants 😆
Noz's design: unpractical teenage dream. Hema's design: grown-up and with a practical and positive outlook on life. Kat's design: when grandpa longs for times long gone.
It's so funny to me as a European, to see how different the style picks are. Over here Noz wouldn't even graduate, Hema would be considered hopelessly bland, and Kat would be the only one actually achieving some success 🙂
kat's room was the only one i could see myself working in. i focus best in quiet spaces - not just sound but also a lot of visual stimuli can be very loud for me. but honestly, all of them were completely beautiful and i'm blown away by the artistry!
I'm in love with the three of them!! They're all so cool, but if I had to choose one for myself it would have to be Hema's design, I really love natural light and the plants and the terracota, just beautiful.
The 3 of you should totally do collabs. So amazing looking at the slides next to each other, they all somehow fit cohesively with one another! Bravo Ladies 🌹🌹🌹
I need a behind the scenes of how these prototypes were actually rendered because whoever made them did an INCREDIBLE job. And the fact they had to isolate each item so the video could be made just sounds like a pin.
I love these episodes. All the interiors look unique. Someone just could've placed a huge window at the end of the attic not just the skylights. I think a huge window would've given a totally unreal mood. Can't wait new episodes :) a lot of inspo!
I loved them all! And I'm really happy Kat used the Jorge Zalszupin and Ricardo Fasanello's chairs! They're amazing and it's great seeing brazilian designers being mentioned in this series ♥
Noz has the ability to overdo and clutter up any type of spaces! Hemas design is pleasant and elegant, Kat’s design is chic and classy. I would love to experience the space designed by hema most
I just was looking for something feeds my soul while watching. Suddenly I remember AD. And I love 3 different way of decorating and managing of the rooms by 3 different architects. Please add some more

I kept checking AD to see if the series was back yay! I agree with what others have said, happy to watch the same space that was discussed before simply done by other designers you’ve had on that haven’t done that space yet.
Thank you to the designer who included the elevator! Yours was already my favorite but that accessibility feature really puts it over the top, thank you so much for thinking of us. :)
WOW, this one was hard for me. But I have to go with Hema. To say it is the attic it doesn't look like an attic. I like the opening/the brightest of the space, and how Hema used the rug and the terrazzo slab to section off the designated area. Her design allows the eyes to rest as you travel across the entire room. Great job Hema. Thank you, designers and AD.
