The Beatles once famously said 'You get by with a little help from your friends', well on Intake!, our mates do their best to give us the shits.
Today we are joined by our good mate Nick as he attempts to give me an extra hand in an already cramped engine bay. We are giving the cooling system a partial refresh and gonna try and stiffen up the chassis with a new Strut Brace.

@10:39 is the exact thing I did. The fight I had with that fan shroud. I actually cut the top part in two aswell to get it out. Then fixed it back together with fiberglass and resin. Like WOW! Nissan actually had people thinking about this and made the bottom part detachable from the fan shroud!
Awesome vid bro, love it! I too own a z32 and have lost much skin off my knuckles, fingers and hands to the notoriously tight engine bay haha. You have to take out 2 or 3 things just to properly get at the 1 one thing you are after. In the end though it is worth it, such an awesome car

I was wondering if you'd removed the lower section from the shroud. I assumed you had. And I was disappointed.. not in you, but in me for expecting too much from you.

Yeah i was laughing at the struggle. I knew about the lower half of the shroud. Before doing anything 'involved' in that engine bay do a quick google 'how to..' search there is soo much info out there on these cars. And next time you will look like a pro ;)

Echelonunit37 not sure mate. We bought it second hand. But it looks similar to the alloy ones on ebay which is a copy of something else. So it could be anyone!
Why is that strut brace bent? Or is it meant to be that way?
Bryce_CORSHN its designed to go between the intake runners. I think its a z32 thing?!
I know you put a lot of time and effort into your videos, and it takes time and money to get new parts in, but we’d all be pumped if you got up to 2 vids per week. (Also working on a Z32 and really just need to know how much beer to buy prior to each project)
Carter Garnon Thanks for the feedback Brother. We would love to put out more episodes each week, but we have a few things stopping us.
Both Ben (producer) and Stivva have families and full time jobs and other commitments. But most of all, we just want to focus on quality and not quanity. We think its better to put out one great episode rather than 3 or 4 shithouse episodes.
Oh I hear ya. I'm just saying the contest is awesome, just tell us how many stickers we have to buy to pay all of the bills so you guys can go full-time!
