Here's a video of me recreating Super Mario Bros. 2's 1-1 in the Super Mario Bros. Style. They recently added the SMB2 mushroom in an update. This level was created in Super Mario Maker 2 on the Nintendo Switch & all footage was recorded at 1080p & 60fps.

I liked how you made ninjis by goombas on tracks,shy guys by winged goombrats on tracks,pickable items by placing them on tracks and birdo by the help of cannons stacked on wendy o koopa. It was a good recreation.I hope you make more such recreations in future.

This implies that there will be more updates, but they won’t be nearly as impressive as the most recent one.
This really makes me wish Nintendo had also added in the update SMB2 herbs. Just those red plants on the ground that you can pick up and throw, and the ability to put different things in them, like with ? blocks. Would have opened up the possibilities so much more and we would actually be able to more accurately remake SMB2 levels. I still cannot find a suitable substitution for the throwable plants; I tried Cheep Cheeps on tracks, but the problem with those is that they can damage you before you pick them up. And clouds, as shown here, just disappear after you pick them up. The plants are the only other thing I'd really ask out of the update, I actually kinda wonder why they didn't add them.

I Just Lucky Island-1, And I Recreated Some Elements From Super Mario Bros 2, And Those Are The Ninji, Pow Block, And The Crawly Course Element. On Super Mario Maker 1. And The Amiibo For This Course Is Cat Mario (Super Mario 3d World) (2013).

For making the vertical section at the beginning of the level, the jungle night theme is perfect. Not only is the background dark, but the semisolds look JUST like the ones in Mario 2. How come nobody has done this??
To bad ninjis and shy guys where not added to the addition smb2 mushroom and the cursed key nijis are technically in the game but not as characters u can use,the again they said last major update so that might mean that they may add more stuff just not as big as the last 3 maybe we will see birdo or wario as a boss also good job on the recreation using what we got and making it acurate,wow that was a lot of words
Ninjis were also in Super Mario World so...
AND they were in Super Mario Run which kinda counts as NSMBU so that leaves only Mario 3 so it is a bit disappointing. But I think them leaving out the throwable plants might have been even more disappointing as I can't find a good equivalent.
actually i recently realized that the cursed key seems to be rarely used in levels

To make it look even more like SMB2 1-1, do it in Forest mode, where you can use green semisolids that look almost identical to the ones in SMB2. Use the green topped bluffs you have here, to create a new overworld ground up where the forest background becomes the sky. Surprised no one seems to have thought of this, so far.
they should've made it so that SMB2 mario can pluck question blocks like turnips, that way it would've been better.
There really should have been a SMB2 style. Honestly, I’d rather have had that than NSMB or even 3D World. I feel like they planned to have that in the game but scrapped it and gave us the SMB2 mushroom instead.
They couldn't have bothered to put the underground music in, or the right climbing action?

Wouldn't you have made the requirement to beat the level as SMB2 Mario so players know that's how it's supposed to be played? I would do that in the fear of someone cheesing the level as normal Mario.

You can make the white vegetable so first take a muncher and put a blooper on top of the muncher and then put block under the muncher so it doesn't fall down you can put a Semisolid on it
