      She's probably a Neoliberal Kumbaya idiot squeamish at any reference to the contrary of her fake views on the world. The irony is most of these white liberals come from the elite and use racial demographics dialectics as their political selling points to get elected so they can live off of the majority white demographic's tax payer dollars while devising structures that further destroy the structure of the family for the benefit of the state. Which increasingly effects all demographics and is the main reason why the black community has been destroyed. Dad's are in Prison, and Mom's are irresponsible promiscuous welfare recipients drunk off of the pig trough of government hand outs whilst having children from multiple fathers, while the children grow up lacking a disciplinary father figure, and being raised by women who neglect teaching their children responsibility. Granted this isn't the totality of the Black Community in America, but it is the majority demographic that gets media focus and is made an example or normalized standard in the media and academia.

      @@neeks3 you are mistaken. The middleastern slave trade lasted far longer than the trans Atlantic. Islamic countries in the Middle East and North Africa wanted traded slaves of every ethnicity however African slaves were particularly wanted as eunuchs. However castration was illegal under the laws of Islam so the slavers would preform the castrations during the trip from the African continent to the middle east, (no anesthesia). About 70% of the slaves would die and the slavers would still be able to make a profit, that's how lucrative the business of the middle eastern slave trade was.
      That level of barbarism is just as horrific and that's just one example. The only reason the USA gets a bad rep about slavery is because it's founding principles were so blatantly contradictory to slavery. Every other civilization in the world had slaves (without issue). Slavery as an institution is as old as humanity itself.
      Millions of European slaves were traded by Islamic pirates between 1500 and 1800. During the middle ages, Slavs (people originating from the Slavic countries of the Balkans) were used so pervasively as slaves in Europe and the Middle East that the origin of the word 'slave' comes from the word 'Slav', in several European languages and Arabic.
      In centuries passed, China was known as the largest and comprehensive market for the exchange of human beings in the world. India was estimated to have had more slaves than the western hemisphere combined (long before the British even set foot on it's soil).
      South East Asia had more slaves than free people at a time. Slaves exsisted in the western hemisphere even before Columbus arrived.
      So why is it as a black man I'm expected to hate or distrust white people? (I'm not American mind you, I'm from the Caribbean)
      If we are talking numbers alone, I should hate Muslims. Do not mistake my examples for islamophobia. It's to illustrate the point....
      Slavery is a human institution, not a white one. Everyone needs to study world history.

    Not entirely; we do to a degree have some institutionalized racism but it is not codified and therefore institutionalized into law. It comes in the form of particular political entities that would have everyone believe that blacks are incapable of making their own lives and therefore require constant subsidy, welfare and reparations payments to get ahead. Such a system is a system of perpetuated failure and so they are kept down by buying into the belief that those who purport to be their benefactors but are instead buying and ensuring fealty.

      The only institutionalized racism I see in America is coming from left-wing politicians and their media and entertainment henchmen. Politicians and the liberal media are keeping the monolithic identity of blacks as former slaves - victims of their past - alive in order to create a large group of people chained to the left-wing political cause. They turn blacks into ideological slaves - chained to repressive entitlement programs. They become your crutch - you can't walk without them. They proverbially herd blacks like cattle into a pen to appeal to their sensitivity - "we understand you - we are on your side - we will take care of you - yada yada yada.' By doing this they ensure their devotion and by consequence they create a large voting block. A 'block' . . . not 'individuals'. That's what identity politics is all about - you're not an individual, you are just blacks - attached to the past. In the entertainment industry: black history month is TOTALLY racist. Successful white people are honored for their accomplishments; successful black people are honored for their accomplishments because they are black people who had to jump hoops to be successful - because America's horrid past. In other words, according to the left, black people cannot be successful simply by virtue of being brilliant men and women - like white people can. They are not allowed to let go of the past! Oh heaven forbid! The left has to keep their success shackled to a torrid past in order to keep racism alive - all to ensure blind devotion to a large voting block. When will all black people wake up and see this? The left keeps trying to pamper them into a corner. Current left-wing ideology is a dirty, sneaky form of segregation. They keep racism alive by playing nice, nice to them - they are wolves in sheep clothing. It's actually quite embarrassing that many have not woken up to this reality yet.

    Various Brief Thoughts:
    1. Mr. Hicks was a curiosity to most of the lineage ADOS (American Descendants of Slaves)* and something of a messiah to White conservatives and others who have forgotten, or couldn't care, that every effort it has made to effect collective self-determination has been met with violence and utter contempt. White Americans jealously protect their "default American" status and invented "identity politics" to enforce it. Via a political-economy centered in privilege, White Americans had access to capital and wealth creation, received housing and mortgages in areas with decent amenities and services, could enter all the professions and trades, its men received affirmative action (AA) in fact/de facto while its women obtained it by law/de jure.** Etc. Federal programs enabled a White middle class. ADOS couldn't catch up when it gained grudging access to them.
    2. The opposite of "perpetrator" escapes Hicks, and causes him to gaslight the lineage. As an example, he speaks to crime in some ADOS sectors, failing to acknowledge the context making it predictable. White Supremacy (WS) has exacted debilitating tolls on ADOS. And still they rise/slowly. The lineage's resilience informs why they continue to make out-sized contributions to the political, economic, social and cultural life of America.
    3. SYSTEMIC RACISM (SR) is the sum of the laws, policies, customs and attitudes (conscious and unconscious) which perpetuate the status-quo via Whites & ADOS. It's why households run by ADOS college graduates have less average net household wealth than ones headed by White American high school dropouts, and why fifty percent (50%) of ADOS household presently have none, for instance. The lineage also financed America's stealth economics. However, regardless race, most citizens don't know it, nor understand the dynamics making it possible, for American History as taught in its K-12 schools is (largely) white-washed.
    *The lineage ADOS is a distinction with a difference compared with using Black American, African American, minority, and people of color, for example, which are overly broad terms.
    **AA in college admissions in 2023 was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court. A color-blind approach in service to the the U.S. Constitution's "equal protection" clause must be used henceforth. The majority on the Court couldn't care they had been receiving some form of AA since forever and a day, including feckless ADOS Justice Clarence Thomas and second-rate Justice Amy Coney Barrett.
    With due respect. (KFB 073123)

    3:10 If eliminating ALL racism is as futile as eliminating all germs, then why research the cures to diseases if we'll always have disease? We should always strive to minimize the effects of racism. As long as racism exists, certain groups of people will be unfairly affected by it.

    • @Joy-xu9wk
      @Joy-xu9wk 3 года назад

      Germs will never be eliminated. They’re integral to life. Do you know what happens when a babies environment is overly sanitized? Weaker immune systems and allergies. Diseases also CAN NEVER be eliminated, they’re part of the human condition. We can all strive to reduce the effects of disease and germs all while still acknowledging that we will never get rid of them.

    • @frogjumpgood
      @frogjumpgood 3 года назад +1

      @@Joy-xu9wk We seem to be on the same page but are drawing different conclusions. Yes, weakened immune systems are a side effect of sanitation but cleanliness ultimately improves everyones quality of life. We just have to maintain those clean conditions for everyone. I agree that racism will never disappear but again, that doesn't mean we shouldn't do all we can to fight against it. By the way, I prefer the term 'racial bias' because people can be subconsciously biased without having bad intentions. Our goal should be to eliminate the side effects of such bias.

    • @Joy-xu9wk
      @Joy-xu9wk 3 года назад +1

      frogjumpgood I agree with your last sentence. You can “eliminate the effects”. Humans are dynamic, no level of teaching can eliminate certain behaviors. Even in the best of conditions, theft, murder, jealousy, etc occur. So i think it’s important for us not to set ourselves up for failure with unreasonable expectations. Even the most likable person you can imagine probably has people who can’t tolerate them. It’s all just part of life. We can minimize the effects, but also be prepared to acknowledge that it’ll always be there. That shouldn’t be a source of discomfort, there are certain things we have to accept as part of the human experience living in nature. Even nature itself isn’t always harmonious, sometimes it’s violent.

      @@frogjumpgood I don't think that you should just embrace without a second thought these new made up terms like for example "racial bias".
      People are bias. Period. The fact that they might be bias because of race, age, sex/gender, looks etc. that's the second part of the story.
      And you can't change their mind about it. In the same way you can't change someone's opinion just because you have a different opinion than him/her.
      Embracing "racial bias" is, in my opinion, like saying that people are automatically racist and they don't even know about that. It's absurd. Really. Just think about it.
      I would say to use common sense but nowadays apparently my common sense is not the same as with yours and certainly not as common as the name implies.
      Also, all this stuff is just an (political) agenda. And this agenda is simply divinding people and labeling them. Once you label and divide people, it's easy to start conflicts.

    I have watched the David Webb video from this same video debate. I have just finished watching this video, my questions:
    1. What about the Black American women and men who are walking to their own car or home or in a store and are questioned by neighbors or police (someone called the police on them)?
    2. You mention about racial microaggressions. It seems like this is a new term for you so I wonder, from your experience as a Black American Man you have no experiences like what I have described? What about buying a home? What about looking to get a business loan from a well-known bank that helps with these types of loans (have you heard about J.P. Morgan in the past year with denying Black American businessman with setting up high-profiled business accounts and loans?) Especially since you were born and raised in Jim Crow law/Segregation just as were my parents.
    (Last week I had seen the video of the FBI Agent (a Southern Sudanese American) who was racial profiled and almost arrested by two police officers; he tried to speak to them but they would listen to him until one of the police officers had to look at his identification twice to believe what he had seen. And the man asked to immediately speak to their top supervisor and asked for all of their names to send a complaint about how they do their jobs.)
    Thank you for posting.
