Internal stye in my upperlid is so painful. It's been five days now and it's swelling, so hurt.
My way of healing: step 1 get a bowl and a small cup
Step 2 apply salt to the water
Step 3 put your bowl of water into the cup and if it’s too hot pour it on your wrist if it burns you wrist let the water cool down. Step 4 put your eye that has the style into the cup of water for 30 seconds and blink out of the eye the water is in a few times

Where I work there is nasty bacteria filled water that splashes around. I end up wiping it off with the side of my shirt and many times I'll feel a stye coming. What has helped a lot is the moment I feel anything I washed my hands with hand soap really good, then take a small amount of water and soap in my hand and splash it into my eyes. It almost always prevents a stye. If I wait too long or not at all I'll get one

i fell asleep on my eye and when i woke up me stye had popped, but now my eye is red and it looks like the stye is now in my eyeball??? it has been red and uncomfy and i’ve just been putting eye drops in it to help with redness and irritation. but i am wondering if this is like normal or like ok yk?

I’ve never had this issue but my optometrist believes I would be susceptible to getting styes. What do you think she meant?
She was trying to call you dirty, I think next time she has any thoughts reply Yeah You R. If she says I’m surprised you don’t have styes you say yeah you are.
What causes them. When I was a teenager it was pizza. Whenever I ate too much pizza, I would get a stye. Mom thought it was the acid. No I get them pretty regularly, like every 2 months. They are huge, but man I feel them, and I am not sure what is causing the infection...
But incision should be given vertically not horizontally.
I have a stye but it's on the internal part of the eyelid. There's no way I can remove and drain the stye, it's way too dangerous.

Its been a month and my stye is not resolving even after takin all the prescribed ointments..antibiotics..and drops.. the bump did get a bit smaller in size thou bt it has been increasing since past 2 days..like i can feel the pressure and soreness on my eye lid that was there at the initial stage a month before. I hope the infection doesnt get any worse! Because the bumpy stubborn nodule actually sucks and takes away all your self esteem. Already feel some weight on my eye lid like the infection is recurring and spreading.😷
How is it now?
I got it removed surgically about 2 weeks ago and still not able to get rid of that bump over my lashes though

I had a stye once many years ago and I plucked the eyelashes that were on it. The next day it disappeared.
I was having doubts so i do it or not it hurts so much should i???
Is it necessary to pluck the eyelash because that’s a big no for me 😀
I wouldn't recommend it, I think the eyelashes are far more sensitive then plucking an eye brow or something. It could easily go wrong if you are doing it alone

man i have a bad stye im kinda worried, had it for like 4 days now just getting worse, whole eyelid swollen, non stop leaking, im living in hell, my traditional dad told me to not go to the doc and do warm compress, 4 days later here we are hopefully i dont lose my eye

@@sunburn6135 @[FF0000] I use alittle tiny bit of vicks vapor rub on it like a dot.but becareful with causing your eye to burn lol just put alittle sprinkle tiny smidge. Like a little eye lash hair amount of the ointment. I also cleaned it with the eye wipes I bought em at the store its liek a special eye wipe for eye lids. And there's also a stye drop solution they sell at wall greens you can use that ointment, so it was a combo of those 3 throughout the day for a couple days. I am not a doctor its just what I used.

Thats called a charo something like that not a stye
Cut a clove of garlic and rub it gently on the style. It will disappear in a day. This is the best treatment.

honestly thought it would make matters worse, but tried anyway because i know of it's properties. idk why but i got this twice recently, must be my ac..? because i surely keep myself and everything clean, but the first time i use raw acv last night had none so used the garlic clove. gone.

@@zebakhan2945 yes it does burn. just gently tap it around the area, dont rub. cut the garlic in half and wait a few minutes i think that makes it antibacterial. I would also try a used & warm black tea bag. warmth will help and black tea has prebiotics. raw apple cider vinegar might help, diluted.
