Onan does not put out bad generators, yours just has a problem that needs to get fixed and finding that one thing is not easy. My Onan has worked flawlessly for 1450 hours now. Remember a few years back when you had the same problem with another generator, and after a few people tried to fix it, finally the problem turned out to be a simple fix. Have you tried that on this one?

What a neat way to live, have your house with you, a modern house with A/C, electricity, t.v.'s, plumbing, kitchen and it's all in a drivable vehicle !!! really amazing you get to live like that, just driving around as you please more or less.

Nosy grandma in Joplin here! We bought a roll of this stuff like they make sunvisors from. We cut pieces to fit between the windows and shades in our RV. Works like a charm! We also put our sunvisor in the windshield if we’re stopped during the day. Really makes a difference! 🎉

Eric. In your travels, Check out the water heater for your RV that doesn't use a storage tank. It is similar to a point of use but much more energy efficient. It hardly uses any LP. Some people call then a point of use unit. I have installed several EcoTemp units. Prices range from $120 and up. Check it out. You won't be sorry you did.

It's been too many years since I heard the Pecos Bill story, but if I recall the story correctly, He used a rattlesnake as a lasso, to lasso a tornado that was headed for a town, to change the direction of a tornado to save the town.

Water heater is a known problem…. And usually an easy fix…. Take the wire leads to the thermostats… unplug one at a time, lightly spray some “Deoxit D5” on the stud, then plug the wire on, pull it off, plug it on, pull it off, approx 10 times.
    Repeat for each stud.
The contacts go cold over time and weathering….
    I hope this helps….

My favorite, Cat Fish! Been ages since I've had a taste.
LOL, bullet holes, Mom shot a bullet in the kitchen door when she was cleaning her pistol. That opened her eyes! I was a phone operator, on those old telephone switchboards, I had two drunks call in, so drunk they didn't make sense so I took the two cords and plugged them together so they could blubber to each others.
    That was fun, Eric!

    Eric...
I gotta ask... how in the world are you getting the broad range of shots while on the bike?
Is it a drone....? It doesn't make sense that it is... you get front, low side, and I can't figure it out ! sooooo dammit... I gotta ask !!!
I love that you have really developed your filming skills from the first year....(yep...I have been around your channel creeping that long lol ) and I really want to ask if you would do a few more sunset to sunrise time lapses again...those are just so beautiful..... please??
I truly enjoy your channel .......even if you are stationary dealing with the curveballs life throws at you....
I appreciate that you keep it real and I am so thankful that you share your trials and tribulations on the road, at the homestead...at the house in Illinois when you owned it...the shop...EVERYWHERE
I am going to be getting on the road soon....... now that I have recovered sufficiently from getting both of my knees completely replaced, and I am recovering really well from my fall from my ladder....
I am thankful to know what to expect, and see how a tried and true veteran of the road ..... a true fulltimer handles it...
and it can even still push you to your breaking point... but you have devolped coping mechanisms, have a great support system in you friends, and have learned some mad skills yourself....
I know you think that we get tired of the "stationary " videos...but frankly, I absorb everything...because you are writing the video book of life on the road...in all of it's quirks and aspects... and well... I have decided that I will keep my sticks and bricks here in Michigan, come home for the Major Holidays to spend with my hearts and souls...then hit the road again and get the hell out of Michigan in January through April...
You have been a major inspiration to me, and I want to thank you for giving me something to cling to and focus my long sight on as I finished my working years, recovered from necessary surgeries and am now getting ready to hit the road.
I know you have a complete life that you don't share off camera, and I can totally respect that. I appreciate that you have the on air Eric you share with your subscribers, and I would hope that someday I could meet you and offer you a hug or handshake, or a locally made barley brew...... for being a lifeline for a crazy female in Michigan .... I truly appreciate you and your channel...thank you from my very full and grateful heart

You can also adjust the thermostats on those hot water heaters. I always put mine at 125. They come at 150.
