My name is Eric and I travel with my cats, “Tara” & “Opie” in a 24ft 2001 Ford Tioga RV named “Freeda” and tow either a 2014 Smart Car named “Tater Tot” or my 2012 Harley Softail Slim named “Black Betty” in a 6x10 trailer. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010.

YaY! Hope you have an amazing time! We’re doing a resort skyliner bar crawl in a couple days and then a dessert resort monorail crawl next week. The resorts are gorgeous this time of year. Hope you were able to book the evening Mickey’s Christmas party event. We went last month and had such a blast!

I love the kitty tunnel. Opie gets his running around and Tara chills in a corner. Fort Wilderness looks like a fantastic place to camp with plenty to do. The show looked great. Take care of yourself, Tara and Opie.
Enjoy your time at Fort Wilderness and as new Florida resident, it is hard to get into the same Christmas spirit when it’s 80 outside, but better than snow.
When putting the kitties outside in their wonderful corral (I need to get one), consider putting something for Tara to take cover under. She seems uncomfortable being exposed in the open with no cover.
Cats usually only need a cardboard box, nothing fancy.
Fresh air is good for cats

It’s been almost 13 years since I’ve been there but still remember getting on the stage at that show. All the food is so delicious though out the park.
We are long time watchers of your channel. We were in Orlando last year, now we are in AZ. We’ll meet you face to face some day…….my husband said some people are giving you flack for being a Disney. Really??? Get a life! We were at Ft W last year with our grandson. So much fun. Enjoy your week!
I love the setup for the kitties Eric!!!! Awesome!!! Yes I know they arr loving it!!! Tara she a girlie girl. They really focus on catching prey an enjoy nite time better. They can hide. Boys they more spunky an well untill they age a bit. Then they to become as a female..an since Tara is fixed an at the well woman stages now. She prefers sleep an eat. Haha pit her a box inside. Word. I watched him because of his boondocking years and years ago and got kind of into it. All the beautiful places he stayed alone with Jax. I know we all change, but man I do not understand the Disney thing. At this point it’s cringeworthy. The cruise was like wow, okay, guess time to unsubscribe.
That was a very pleasant experience thank you so much. I didn't feel any stress at all I just felt comfort and just to let you know I worked for Disney for a lot of years and I missed the place so thank you for letting me see some of the stuff that I miss enjoy.

Ft. Wilderness is probably THE best park anywhere. Clean restrooms which are temperature controlled. Level sites.

Why not establish home base in Florida? Seems to be much more of a match for your interests than the remote, higher-elevation parts of Arizona where it gets cold and windy in the winter.

Christmas at Fort wilderness is a dream come true it is the best place in the world to be not only do you have all the RVs decorating for Christmas the park celebrates Christmas in the best way I have to say in my 58 years my favorite Christmas Day was spent at Disney World even with the crowds

We got back a couple weeks ago and the merch was disappointing. Didn’t buy anything. We usually buy hats, shirts and a coffee mug. Saved some $$$ though.
The last time I went to Disney was Dec 2020 also , it IS much different, is anyone holding out hope that Bob Iger is going to restore the beloved Parks and Resorts or do you think not much will change 🫤, I haven’t booked for 2023 yet so I’ll be watching all the videos

Yea. screw the cruise. The parks ARE Disney. You can even tell by Eric's attitude. The cruise was excitement of something new, but the parks keep calling everyone back with fond memories of family, friends, and the great characters that we all grew up with!
Looks like another good Disney fix for you. That chair or one very similar can be found at Harbor Freight for around $20 last time I bought two. Maybe higher now but not getting overpriced like the park. Kitty run is great. Opie sure loves it.
@@RickMartinRUclips For sure! Plus you can stay at the nearby state park, Lake Louise SP, which is just a short drive to the big pick-pocket parks. I have stayed and it was nice to get away in the evening to non-merchandised peace and quiet. This way you can enjoy what you want on a day trip to Universal or Disney and then back to your camper to grill dinner and the next day rest up with a easy hike on the many trails.
The absolute best deal in FL is the Weekie Wachie Mermaids. About $14 to get in and great swimming, a water slide, snack lunches not too overpriced, the mermaid show included too. Took my great grandson and stayed all day. He was 9 at the time and played in the sandy bottom swim area almost all day and loved the water slide. $14! Free picture with a mermaid too. Best of all it’s old FL. The state took it over and it’s doing great!
I love your excitement about Fort Wilderness - I feel the same way!!! I’m so glad I found your channel because I noticed something in your open that intrigues me. You flat tow your smart car. I’m in the market for something to tow a vehicle with and I also have a Smart Car. Tell me all about your setup please please please. I’m a little worried about banging up the smart. Please put my mind at ease.
I like Christmas decorations, but a lot of those places have way too much stuff - not being critical, just my opinion. It's funny, I hate cold weather, but Christmas just isn't Christmas without snow.
First thing first I'm enviour as shit!!!!!!! The only thing that confused me is that you wore your Micky ears baseball hats during the Disney Cruise but not at Disney world.
