@@oliviag469 from a perspective of a workaholic myself, though we do enjoy doing a shit ton of work usually we also use our work as a coping mechanism which is why our stress or woes are often unnoticed. I won't say Laurens is the reason of Hamilton's spiral, but it's definitely a defining factor.

Which connects to dear Theodosia when burr and Hamilton sing about how their kids will 'come of age with our young nation '. Even if he doesn't know that God plans to bring Phillip home sooner than expected, he was more than happy to die for him to live in a free country as we r today.
