I can imagine Eliza possessing Phillipa and her seeing the audience and realizing her story has finally been told and history wont forget her.

This was the Phillipa the original actress said was her inspiration. She said she imagined it was Eliza seeing through her eyes the audience and knowing that Alexander and her story got told.

Gotta say, this version of Who Live's, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story Animatic is the best compared to the other animatics. It's just so unique, especially that ending.

I didn’t know Tomas Jefferson and James Madison for a very long time was a president of the USA… I’m American, schools doesn’t teach us that many stuff, like they don’t teach us about John, they don’t even talk about the first president that mush, all I was thought was that he was the first president of America

The fact that there is a representation of the Eliza and her sisters at the end literally broke me. In act one, everything seemed so innocent. In act two, Peggy died, Angelica not only helped her sister through heartbreak but even helped her keep her husband's legacy.

The sweetest part is that the ending is, essentially, how the performance ends. Alexander leads his wife to see that her story is being told, even today.
This was beautiful, especially the ending. They were actually planning on removing Hamilton from the ten dollar bill but then the musical came out and it was decided to keep him on the bill.
Eliza lived to be 97. That’s incredible for the 18-19th centuries. Back then the life span was about 40 or 50.
Ok but that ending- my parents did not sign the permission slip for you to take me on an emotional, ride! But seriously- I kind of think that Lin is probably gonna be blessed by them for telling their stories. I’m sure of it.

This makes Eliza’s gasp that ends the musical make more since. From Eliza’s point of view, she gasps at the sight of seeing her and her loved ones portrayed on stage. For whatever actor is playing her, they gasp at the sight of Eliza in the audience.

While for the most part, my brain is happy to accept this as the stunning price that it is. And I understand the symbolism behind the part at 1:28.
However, the SCIENCE part of my brain has one question.. how can you interview a dead man? Like what Eliza appears to be doing at 1:28. 🤔👌

not to be pedantic, but she's interviewing Hercules Mulligan, the last member of the squad still in america. he DID outlive Hamilton irl, so it's likely Eliza DID reach out to him post Hamilton's death. laurens was likely drawn to that interview because Mulligan mentioned him, so their ghosts could meet.
I remember watching this show live in the US and I thought I saw something in the dark corners of the theatre. I looked closer from where I sat. Call me insane, call me mentally fucked up, but I swear on my life that I saw Eliza and everyone else's spirits during the performance of this song. That's what made it so emotional for me. I may not be American, but I can say that Eliza was one of the most phenomenal women to ever live. I as a woman strive to be like her. Rest in peace, Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton.
