Once you get to a 31 inch tire(or larger). You need to have it mounted for easy access, due to the weight of the tire/rim. I purchased the Rig'd for my 4Runner. It was a pain to re-route the camera(I purchased the extra camera and wires, left the factory camera in place), but I am impressed with the entire set up.
Very nice, thanks for sharing! Look forward to seeing some videos of it on the trails. Not so sure you need a matching wheel, it's just a spare, maybe a cool cover instead to save some money?
there's no way to clear a small space for the camera in the back? I'm lookin to get something like this lol My spare definitely won't fit under the truck but I gotta have it.
what brand of topper is that? i just got a skycamp 2.0, which brought me to this video, and i was wondering how having that on the short cbi bed rack was working for you in terms of the overhang. wondering if i should just skip the bed rack and go for the hard topper.
Are you referring the hitch mount. Corrosion, you must not have ever tried to remove a hitch that's been inserted to a few years. Also the lock or pressure bolt thing does move, it's what applies load to keepnit sturdy.
unless it is welded, it is a moving part. You don't want this thing to weld itself after a few months. No grease, good luck taking it off after just 1 month :D
@@Beacon_Offroad I hope you choose to make more videos. You've got just the right kind of energy/presence for this subject matter. I hope you do more on the Tacoma as well.
Nice addition my friend! Appreciate the lengthy video, full coverage!
Any website that we can check and can you a 2 bike hitch With 2 inch opening, thanks and nice set up.

It's been out a few times. I have some videos I need to edit still from the summer.

You can buy a camera relocation kit.
Are you able to open your back window with the Ridgd?
Yes I can.

This is a rsi smartcap. Its sweet. The rack was working fine though, no complaints.
Any drawbacks or regrets on the swing arm.....
Besides the price lol, No not really. Love it, been great so far.
Is there a camera relocation kit
A few companies make them.
Does it block the rear view camera
Of course it does. You can buy a camera relocate kit though.
I'd love to put a 2nd fuel tank in the spare tire spot
Not a bad idea, im going to see if I can mount a rotopax on the inside.
Why would you add grease to a none moving component

Pity that you lose the camera. That would be critical for me.
They make a relocation kit and youre good to go. 👍
