Just watched the video on Jason Koertge's channel and it was mentioned how the system could be run without a spare and still be used for a bike carrier and other accessories. Would you be able to run the rotopax mounts facing the rear of the vehicle (where the spare tire would normally be) and still be able to run the table on the inside? A set up like that would be ideal for me just to carry extra fuel and have a table when I need it and remove the whole unit for daily use.

The Multi-Fit is great on the V8 hitch, and that's the only option you have. To run the 4Runner UltraSwing you'd need to replace your hitch with the v6 (and all 5th Gen) hitch.
Running a 2008 FJ Cruiser with 37” tires + 6 inch lift. Which version is best fit if I want less gaps/closer to rear door. Could you provide estimate distance of gap.
The Multi-Fit is the correct version for you. The distance will be about 8-9" on an FJ. That's partly because the rear door on the FJ is really flat and recessed from the bumper. On vehicles like a 3rd Gen Tacoma where the tailgate bulges out a bit that distance is 7".

On your site it says the mega was specifically designed for specific vans and other large van applications. I dont have a van, i have a ram 1500 so I bought the multifit, it doesn't fit. Tailgate hits the plate and my 35 won't allow full swing. I ordered the mega. You should reword your descriptions because im stuck with a $1200 chunk of steel and no box. I guess if the mega doesn't fit I could order the 4runner version and then live in the box cuz now I broke
