I've been a student and practitioner of Krav Maga for 14 years. I'm also a black belt in Taekwondo and 10th planet Brown rashguard practitioner. Krav Maga is an very effective defense system. I feel it's a overall beat way to defend yourself if you're unarmed and against multiple or armed attackers.

For God's sake, it's a demonstration. Not an actual fight. The manuvers are very useful if pulled out quickly in a real situation. I mean it's not like they're going to test ripping out a jugular artery with your fingers on a living person...
@getsome1516 You're talking bull shit now, Krav Maga is the MOST effective street fighting/defense there is. If you're very well trained, you could do this. In a street fight scenario the opponent most likely isn't a black belted karate master, and if he is, the one there's mastering Krav Maga, most likely will beat the shit out of him, because he's trained to do the "naughty" tricks. Poke him in the eye, kick him in the balls, so on.

the beginning is jiu jitsu, since jiu jitsu is mainly about ground fighting, and krav maga is about finishing ur opponent as quickly as possible ;D
