You inspired my Gladiator bed build, i added putco molles on the front of the bed and mounted maxtrax boards, then took your idea of the rotopax mounts and attached them to the side rails in the indentation next to the wheel well, fits perfectly. I too enjoy the organization it provides and ability to carry/store more gas and water for my offroading trips. Thanks bro!
Thank you. That was my exact goal. I did NOT want to have the look of how many accessories can I add. Just simple and useful. Happy with the result. Thank you for watching! 🎥
Your channel is highly underrated brother. Definitely using your Rotopax mounting techniques on my Sierra. JCR doesn't make mounts for my truck so I am going with Builtright. When I make that video, I am 10000% mentioning that I got the idea from you. Not sure what state you are in built we need to talk collab opportunities
Thank you for the supportive words about the channel. I have watched a few of your gear review videos. They are great! Keep up the good work sir. I will be staying tuned in to see your truck bed video and excitedly awaiting that shout out! Collab sounds like a good idea.
Well done but I am confused. Why would you mount all that stuff, hatchet (axes are much larger), FAK, and Rotopaks out in the open bed and then lock up your hitch pin? Seems to me I would be worried about looing the other stuff then the tow receiver pin. LOL
You make good point. My hope is that nobody considers breaking into my truck bed since it has a cover. Out of sight and out of mind : ) The hitch is a weight distribution hitch. If it gets taken I cannot just run down to Autozone to get another exactly like it. Thanks for watching!
I love your setup. I just ordered a rugged ride rollup cover. What bed rail is that where you attached your plate? How long is it? I like how your gas containers are inside. Your vids are awesome!!
I’m not sure that I fully understand the question. The side molle panels are bolted to the side of the truck bed. They also extend all the way down to the bed of the truck. A rubber stopper on the back touches the truck bed wall. Don’t seem to flex or move. Hope this helps.

What would you recommend if I don't have a bed rail for the plate? I like the setup where the gas thanks are. I would like to do that on my gladiator. Great vid!
My best recommendation would be to get the Mopar bed rail. It is nice looking, rugged, and functional. Is there a particular reason you wouldn't want to add it?
@@DavidWaldrip well, being a first time jeep owner, I read many reviews about bed covers. At that time, the rugged ridge was great! I didn't know Mopar would give more opportunities to modify with their products. Lesson learned. Thanks again, for your videos!
Get a molle panel you can mount the rotopax directly to the molle. But i agree w David, rail system is nice, i went ahead and purchased it so i could use the pax brackets he used.
Are you referring to the one holding the rotopax or the one holding my other gear? This is the side molle plate. www.jcroffroad.com/product/JTRMP-PC.html
Firefighter paramedic of 30 years....don't store fuel...flammable liquids in your trunk or bed of your truck. Even if you "survive" ...you'll wish you didn't.
This could be useful info. Seems to make sense but how is this any different than the big fuel tank that we are sitting on top of? Also what about those overland racks that have them mounted on the racks? Is that safer?? I appreciate your insight.
Installed fuel tank is protected and built for safety/potential accidents or impact. The portable fuel packs however are not. In an impact or rollover they will be ejected, ruptured or compromised spraying fuel all over. Whoosh. I know...thats why you put the water can with it. However...you don't put out a petroleum product fire with water. Nevermind...what do I know. Looks cool...helps the RUclips algorithms and pleases the sponsors...all that matters.
I have firefighter friends that would agree. But have Jeeps with similar set ups. I questioned them and was told the only time they had fuel in them was when they knew they would be WAY far away from gas stations.
I lay down to take a quick nap in this video but I bet YOU CAN'T find it... : )
I like this. I dont want to have to dedicate my bed full time to a rack so this is great
That was my thought. No rack gang. Good luck with your bed build.
Thx for watching!

The products really didn’t apply to what I’m doing to my gladiator.. the sidearm while working on your jeep got you a thumbs up and a subscriber lol!
Thanks man. I purchased some of this stuff after this video.
Rock and Roll! Glad you watched and found it helpful.

Once again where did you order the Pax plate that you mount onto the bed rail

It’s also in the description.
Hope this helps.

How do you get behind the moly rails to clean the carpet?
Hey Bro. Where did you get the rotopax mounting kit for the front of the Jeep Gladiator bed? Thanks.
See his link below, its from Rotopax designed for Nissans, but it works
What keeps the mollie panel from pitching towards the middle of the truck? Seems in off camber or uphill they would flop.
I’m not sure that I fully understand the question. The side molle panels are bolted to the side of the truck bed. They also extend all the way down to the bed of the truck. A rubber stopper on the back touches the truck bed wall.

Did you have to buy different t slot bolts for the gladiator bed rails? Or did the provided hardware work with the gladiator specific bed rails
I purchased these

Did you wrap tail gate? Enjoy your channel.
Hey Dave
I did indeed have the tailgate wrapped. Also I swapped out the rear Jeep logo for the matte black version.
Thanks for the response. It looks awesome, didn’t know they had different color Jeep logos.
@@davemclean8667 Yessir. I didn't feel like the grey and red one looked right after the wrap. Thanks for watching!
Looking on the site for the front molly rail but cant find it, just the side molly rail system
I don't have the front molle panel from JCR but here is the link.

Thanks David , i guess what i was looking for is the slider rail you have up front that you installed the rotopax to
I have a Nissan Titan with a utility rack system and have a feeling that the rotopax plate will work . Where did you buy those plates ?

What bed cover are you using? How weathertight is it.?
The bed cover is from Mopar. It came on my truck from the factory. I absolutely love it. Haven’t had a drop of water inside 💧
What is the size of your tire that fit in the spare tire area?
37”
For sure my 35s will fit…Did you have to deflate to make it fit?
@@jeffreyclimaco2059 for the 37 I had to get a special bent rear traction bar but it actually fit without it. Just didn’t want it to rub.

Of course. Doing my part to help keep the economy moving right along 🇺🇸
