- If you guys follow my community page, you would see that i mentioned a couple of key upgrades i am doing to the Jeep before Murphy and I's OR Send coming up in October. Well here is the first! A new bed rack from TKMAUTO on Amazon went into the Jeep this weekend and its going to be the framework for whats to come next. This was a super cheap and affordable Amazon Bed Rack for the Jeep Gladiator Diesel and honestly i am shocked at how nice it came out. Shipping was quick, the parts were well packaged, and the bed liner on the heavy duty pieces was in great shape. We will see how it holds up but so far im pretty impressed with this $500 option for an affordable truck overland bed rack. Hope y'all enjoy the video and my merch has been updated recently so check it out in the link below if you wanna rep Life Outdoors on the river!

Nice bro. Looks good
Appreciate that!
would you know if there away to have this rack on my gladiator, that will go with having a bed cover also ? thank you
Unfortunately nothing comes to mind but you would probably have to do a custom fit for something like that.
Is the width adjustable at all? Says 56” (is that to the mount points?) and I need 52”. Also how has it been holding up? Thanks!
The width is adjustable within a couple inches of 56" but you would need to make some modifications to get it down to 52" but chopping some sections off. I dont think it would be too hard if you had the tools but thats up to you! It held up really well while I had it but ive since switched to a full height bed rack from Hooke Road now. You can get 5% off their stuff using my link in that video description on my channel.
Was just searching for a rack. Think I may go with this one. Didnt want to break the bank
Any idea how to attach an awning to it ?
Its very afforable and seems pretty dang sturdy so far. Just slept on top of it 4 days straight and no complaints. Now if youre going to go with an awning you might want to get a full height version of this one, an awning would be awfully low to the ground on this height rack. It would be super easy to attach one though with all of the mounting points on these racks.
The link is taking me to a different rack, can you send me the right one pls
This should be the bed rack that uses trail rails or factory bed rails. If you want the other version that works without bed rails that would be the other version of this rack on their site. Not a bad rack for the money. But cheap powder coating on these looks horrible IMO with all these "flakes". I was going to get one in full height for my JTRD but decided to spend $300 more and went for JCR rack.
I'd agree with that assessment. However the rack was only 450 so i was okay with an imperfect powder coat for a 300 cost savings. Once i get the bank account up im going closed topper anyways. Thanks for watching!
can you tell me what is the point of this rack- I've seen them on numerous vehicles, but I don't get it- not trying to be an ass- maybe for a roof tent?
Hahaha I love this comment 😂 I thought the same for a while! But check the next video on my channel because yes it was for a roof top tent lol easier access a little lower plus tons of mounting points for awning, fuel mounts, water Jerry’s, etc.
@@LifeOutdoors That's what I thought- it looks great and I'll be checking it out
@vicc6744 appreciate that! I actually have a new one that I’ve started using even since this video from Hooke Road. If you end up going that route my username LifeOutdoors will get you 5% off 👍
