Yes, it powers that little bar great! however you can add more if desired. -From LIghthouse LEDs site: "Multiple current limiters can also be placed in parallel to add current (40mA, 60mA, etc...)"
Sweet! 👍 I’m a big LED guy. I’m just starting to fit mine with lights now. What kind of plug did you use for the light ports? I’m trying to find a plug like the ones that came with the stock bumper. 🔌
I just bought some servo extensions plugs and servo pigtail leads with the JST plug connectors on them. The lights use a 2-port, but the 3-port servo type work fine - I just used Pos/Neg and can cut off the third wire (signal wire typically.) I just couldn't find any 2 port JST pigtails... see below link for examples. www.amainhobbies.com/search?s=servo+extension
I masked it all from the inside and spray painted. I used a liquid mask I brushed on and cut with an exacto. Very last step, for the lenses, I just brushed on a light layer of the spray paint for the body color from the inside as the red tint.
How did you wire up the resistor to the light bar you installed on the front bumper? The resistor looks different than a regular one I've used before, it shows a positive on one side and negative on the other
Positive side is power in, neg is power out. That is the direction I believe. Wired it in on the positive. (I assume you are talking about that little 20mA LED Driver I used inline for the Orlandoo Hunter bar.)
Ok Thancxxx... I seen that picture was a little confused with some of the symbols... I really like how your build is going... How's that brushless motor working out for you?
The next picture is what confused me more because they show a red wire on one side and a black wire on the other... The way you did it works so I will follow suit...
Got ya. That image shows it wired in series, so that is why. We will install it parallel. So only on the positive wire. Just put it in the correct direction of flow.
Thanks for the compliment. It is actually the Axial JLU clear body I painted... but very scale is exactly what I am going for! The Part 1 Build video shows all the CC Hand and other parts I used. More updates to come!
Well done! Pretty neat installation of the entire light system. Thanks for sharing.
Sick build! Thanks for posting!! My son and I just got these Jeep’s. Looking forward to modding them with him.
OHH... They are a blessing and a curse (to your wallet)... LOL. Hope you all enjoy them!
Awesome video my rc friend 👍😁
Nice video my friend👍😊😊
Appreciate that! I am very pleased with this build so far. More to come...
@@bcochener yes friends are always excited🤜🤛😊👍👍
Nice truck dude! :)
Thanks. More to come...
Is the 20mA driver really enough for the orlandoo light bar?
Really liking how this turned out!

@@bcochener awesome! Thanks
Sick truck how did you paint your taillights

Where did you get those LED lights in the front bumper?
It’s all in the description.
hey i’m going to try and mount some lights on the fenders like the ones i real life any tips?
On wiring? Mounting? I thought about doing some ditch lights like that, just didn't find any that I thought I could secure well enough.
@@bcochener on mounting
@@bcochener hey i did it i can email you a picture of it
@@asapplayz6912 Awesome! Hey, a great place to share it would be here: www.reddit.com/r/SCX24/

Great vid... not sure what crawler Jeep body that is because it looks too detailed and scale to be the Axial SCX24. Did you 3D print it?

@@bcochener Awesome, thanks for responding and I look forward to all of your content!
What shocks are those?
Hot Racing Airshocks. I install them in Part 1 of the build and you can see a short run at the end of the Overland Reveal video.
3d printed bumper?
The front is an RGT bumper. Part 1 has the install of it.
