The Twisted Story Of Ryan Lamb

- The Disturbing 911 call you just heard, was made on the 5th of August 2018 by a man called Ryan Cody Lamb. Lamb frantically called the Kalispell Police Department to tell them he just come home to find his partner dead.

The video is fab. You have nothing to apologise for.
You don't have to apologize... You did a great job... n audience knows the difference between the voices so

@littlelittleman86 okay little man
This is the first time I've ever seen a full interrogation take place in a police station hallway.
Exactly what I was thinking!
Welcome to Kalispell, MT.
I think that's the whole police station trailer.
Its a corridor that they take prisoners in and out of before driving them to the detention center 3 min away. They used to have jail cells there in the city police station behind the camera is the city police station and courtroom and the city fire department connected to the building. They have interrogation rooms through a doorway to the left of camera through a doorway.

It’s so bizarre to watch people try to imitate how real human beings react to tragedy. It’s so embarrassing because they think they’re fooling everyone; but anyone with the slightest ability to discern can tell it’s totally fake.
Ikr. And people in here actually question why this idiot was in handcuffs right off the bat.
Right... that was bad...!
EXAAAAAACTLY!
RIGHT OFF THE BAT EVERYBODYS LIKE. 100% WE GOT US A GUILTY ONE.
GUILTY.

YESSSS!!!
He was so over the top that it was ridiculous! I know people act differently and handle grief in different ways, but he did seem fake. Then, his story changed so many times and had lies. I think he was more guilty than the partner, but just my opinion.
It amazes me how neighbors can be. If I heard someone yelling about being stabbed, I'm going to call the police. It may have saved that boy. So sad.
Agree with you 100%
what if it ends up they are playing a game on the internet.. :)
Probably a common occurrence to hear those two fighting with each other to where the neighbors just started to ignore them.. Lamb should be in prison!!
Have you ever lived beside dangerous or mad people?!? You do not call the police on them because it will come back and bit you in the ass.
@darkodarko9 then everyone just gets a funny laugh out of it lol
Why I would be fired as a 911 operator:
"Shut the fuck up. Everyone knows you killed him. The police are on their way."

I knew both of these men. Ryan Nixon was an abused battered man. This was such a devastating loss. Ryan Lamb is a raging narcissistic manipulative monster.
So sad. Domestic violence takes too many good people 😢
Do you think it was intentional? The fact that he called everyone except for EMS speaks volumes! 10 years is a sweet deal for him.
@AmandaBooBerry I believe it was a heat of the moment kind of thing. Ryan Nixon had gotten away from Ryan Lamb and was doing good for a while. I think Lamb couldn't fathom Ryan leaving him again because Lamb was a loser who couldn't hold down a job or anything. He needed Ryan, and it wasn't a two-way street. His narcissism couldn't handle that.

A big shout out to that detective. Clearly experienced. Thank you for your service!
Yeah he was Excellent! Carefully and skillfully asked just the right questions
If anyone continuously repeats the words “I just came back” they’re 100% guilty.
Apparently you have never had a loved one murdered. I was in jail for a DUI when my husband was murdered and I was interviewed for 4 hours. I lost my mind. You are a judgemental person.

When he says, "He's not revivable" he had already confessed to the murder. You find a loved one like that you never say that because you want them to live.
OH-TOUCHE! 😮
No. No, that does not mean one has confessed to murder.
Ik what you mean bc there was a mother who thought her decapitated son could be saved (car accident), but what was more telling to me was the time he wasted. He tried many things to “revive” him before running to the gas station to call police. Who wouldn’t just knock on the apt next door or several more when you live in a complex. Then he ended up calling his mom and then his dad and then the hospital before 911. Even if he called ONE parent in a panic, they obviously would have said call 911, and instead he called the other parent and then a hospital and then 911.
B h h. H
that's not what that means at all. quit trying to be some internet detective.
Man, I love how much this police station looks like a police station. That place hasn't been remodeled or even cleaned since it was built, probably in the 70s.

That dude isn't fooling anyone, I know damned sure the cops aren't buying it. Boy, the whole time he was crying he REALLY wanted them to know that he just got home!

Totally. I’ve seen this case before and this channel has a weird take on his soberness or lack of. It’s a complete act. Sure he may have drank over the limit but sounds like these guys were drinkers. That tends to build a tolerance. He was able to attempt alibis and distance himself from the crime.

This is first true crime video I’ve seen of this format that sends their condolences to the victims family. I appreciate that!
The fake crying and constantly saying "my husband, please". Please what? What do you want the cop to do when you've already stated he's unrevivable?
Maybe if he put him in the shower he would revive?
Denial and pleading isn’t out of the ordinary. You’re not likely to be thinking logically. He is sus tho
Caught that right off the bat.😢
"Please, please.....Can you scratch my ear?" Wtf 😂
Where I live this kid on his first day at work at this gas station got robbed and killed. 16 years old. His mom said he was so excited about the job so he would be able to help pay the bills knowing she was a single mom with 4 kids. The guy who killed him came back to the scene and someone pointed him out. So sad for that family
That's horrible!
Omg that’s devastating 😢

This world is headed to hell in a hand basket. Damn. I will be looking out for that story. Would you be able to provide a link?
He told his family that he was going to call 911 when he "got back" but didn't have a phone at home. He told the police that.
"POKE wounds!?" That's minimalist language if ever there was! First red flag amongst many 😮
Right, that’s what I thought 🙈
Pokey booboos or ouchies
@@broncotrollyI would have died if he said that
But they poke each other with forks sometimes
All this hysterical acting just to end up telling on yourself. Just egregious.
Thank you for the verbal warning before he threw up, I was able to cut the video just in time. Those of us with emetophobia appreciate it ❤
That was the best, most clarifying example of an officer reading someone their miranda rights. Everyone should receive that detailed of a reading with the pre speech as well.
I figured he was guilty as soon as I heard the 911 tape where he calls the stab wounds, “poke wounds” and that “just got home.” If you _really_ came home to find your spouse bleeding profusely from unknown wounds, you wouldn’t refer to the wounds in such a euphemistic manner. 🤷♂️
Yep, minimizing and belittling the facts and words because they don't want to say them out loud.
He received a real good poking that's for sure😂
At least he doesn't spend 10 minutes explaining what he thinks happened while he totally wasn't home so it's still a better call than most lol
y'all are literally trying to turn nothing into something. that alone is not suspicious to say. people describe what they see. if it looks like "poke wounds" then someone is going to say that. there are other red flags in this, but this is not one of them.

This guy is the worst actor that I’ve ever seen. A lot of faces and no tears. I can’t even imagine how horrible his partner felt seeing the person that he trusted the most in the whole world’s face as he murdered him.
A fork doesn’t kill you !
@@Nonayabizness360 ANYTHING can kill you if it's used the right way...
I think about that all the time. With Vallow and her 2 youngest, imagine what they saw and felt. Heartbreaking.
There's a worst one. I can't remember the channel, but the accused, once the detective said his story made no sense, he said: "my story, if not perfectly accurate, it's directionally correct !"
Put that as a RUclips search and that interview pops up. You'll see the worst actor in a police interview.
Nobody knows what happened including you. Maybe the bad guy was the one dead who knows. Just like nobody can judge your issue in your marriage without knowing you. I would reserve my judgment if I was not a witness to a crime. Everybody can be a keyboard genius.
How the detective listened to his entire rambling melodramatic performance without busting out laughing once is beyond me.
😂
He really starts to crack right around the 42:00 minute mark, once he finally starts to realize just how ridiculous he looks trying to continue this narrative that the Kalispell police so masterfully picked apart. It's almost as if every member of law enforcement here knew how to play their part. Each was so patient with Lamb, pushing back when they felt the timing was right, but also never putting him in a corner which I feel was nothing short of a stroke of genius. They knew he did it, and they knew they had plenty of evidence to convict, but they still wanted to here his personal confession. Kudo's to Beyond Evil, I hope they get well over 1 million views on this one.
Who in the hell, puts somebody in the shower to "REVIVE" them after they've been stabbed.
And yeah if his blood pressure was low I imagine cold water would causes blood vessels to constrict cause even more stress to the heart , and if he has been bleeding and the water is hot it will open his blood vessels bleeding even faster
He probably panicked and tried to revive him 🥴🤷
It's something addicts would do with someone who is overdosing, but... not obviously bleeding stabbed people. Wouldn't be my first thought even if he WAS on drugs. He's stabbed genius. Oi.

It was so bad I could NOT listen to the baby cry whining. Disgusting
I tried to watch this interrogation before on another channel & I couldn’t understand a word the suspect was saying. Thank you for the captions as well as your soothing yet informative narrative. It makes a world of difference when a subscriber is already having a difficult time following a very intoxicated speaker. Well done.
If you have to endure/give physical pain to get off, that's not love, it's demonic.
Amen! Downright evil and demon inspired plus while drunk on the devils nectar. This whole situation has demonic written all over it.
Anytime the 911 call qualifies as a drama series you know they’re guilty.
Yes, “I just got home!” Guilty. We’re done here, lock him up boys. Unless the 911 op. or cops specifically ask you, NEVER start a call with “I just walked in, I just got home,” etc. 👍👍✌️
Yes, always.😅
Don't forget his Hitler style Haircut when he appeared in Court. ,😃
Myeahhh it’s getting easier to spot red flags. An innocent person gets right to the point as much as possible when they need 911 assistance. They don’t take the circuitous route past everything BUT getting help. Alex Murdaugh was a good example of this too!
I had to give CPR to my precious daughter. I don’t recall word for word what I said, but I put the phone on speaker and the moment they answered I said my 17 year old daughter is unresponsive. I’m about to start compressions. Then let [911] ask me questions while I worked like hell to keep up with compressions. I’d count them off. I’d forget to breathe. I’d reposition and try again. But I was far too busy to talk about where I was earlier or how I found her even. Believe me it was like fighting to get a breath out myself. Air was being sucked from the room and the house and my life.
By the time the cops got there, I was winded like I’d been sprinting. I was losing my mind, sure enough. But I was laser focused and of one purpose: bringing her back.
That was my experience anyway. I’m not saying everyone responds the same. But I think you all know what I’m getting at with some of these actors. Thank you for listening 💜☮️
You didn’t say if your daughter recovered. Was she ok? 😭
As a previous emergency healthcare worker there are 2 types of ppl.
1. Someone that tries their hardest to focus & do whatever they can to help the victim, as in your case, or
2. Someone that just panics & can’t focus in high stress situations.
Even if u don’t know the person at all u should be able to choose which category the person seems to fit best. He doesn’t fall in either category, which is the biggest red flag of all. This method has never failed me.
What a traumatic experience for you.
I’m so sorry.
You sound like a level headed mother who much loved her daughter.
I don’t know if this guy loved his partner.
Their whole relationship seemed weird to me.
If he wasn’t so over the top drunk, this horrible tragedy probably would not have happened.
As he was terribly intoxicated, he probably couldn’t respond to 911 or anybody else coherently.
Personally … I believe if he doesn’t seek some kind of treatment for his substance abuse, when he gets out of jail, he will reoffend.
Were you able to revive your daughter?
OMG. So sorry you had to go through that. RIP to your angel.
He asks the police randomly: Can you scratch my ear? 😮
I was born and raised in Kalispell. I probably went to school with Ryan and didn't even realize it. We are the exact same age. I used to stay in that apartment complex (Gateway Village) with my cousin. It was HUD housing. The fact that he ran to a gas station that is half a mile away instead of knocking on the neighbors doors is strange.
How to immediately confess without confessing
😂😂😅
Compared to Murdaugh I'd argue this man deserves an Oscar.
Say "I just got home" multiple times. No innocent person has to say that, at least not repeatedly.

35:44 - I like how every time the theatrics are over and they’re met with more confrontational dialogue, they suddenly want to ask if they should talk to a lawyer. As if they’re gonna answer it lol.
I can’t believe his BAC was so high even hours later when they tested him again. I think that was a huge factor in this terrible situation and likely their relationship. I read a lot of people saying they think he murdered him intentionally. I don’t know if I believe that but he did in fact kill him. I don’t think it was self defense. I think he was soooooo drunk and things got taken way to far.
If we didn’t know about the statements made by both of them from the neighbor and the fork marks, I would have a different opinion. I believe that’s what held the jury up as well. I was also shocked that when he finally did sober up he remembered as much as he did…he trusted those cops so much. All of my opinions are solely based on only watching this video and if I were to watch the trial, I could potentially see thing’s totally different. At the end of it all he still is responsible and 10 years is a very short sentence. I’d like to see what he does in those 10 years. Rip Nixon 😢❤️
The cop did say something about handling their “disputes” in the past, and a number of other comments are saying that theirs was an abusive relationship. That, coupled with the fact that he waffled around for so long instead of getting the guy help and some of the shady, manipulative way he was acting during his freak out makes me feel like he’s a little more guilty-minded than your comment implies. Alcohol intensifies behavior and facilitates poor decisions, but it doesn’t make a violent murderer out of someone who isn’t already inclined that way.
I was super confused with him being so drunk and just getting home from work. Unless he is a bartender, I doubt he was drunk at work.
Right? Don't ad up
You're right, I do believe he worked at a bar or restaurant with bar and had way to many shift drinks!
He worked at rivals bar and casino he might have stayed after shift a few as well
He had finished work at 11 according to him, because it was quiet, then had a ton of booze at his work premises after that. So he was “at work” whilst drinking, but not actually working. By the time the cop is cuffing him and putting him in the car it is 4am so he’d obviously had time to consume a shitload of booze before coming home and getting in a huge fight with his partner - and killing him.
@@nadinewiseman4995 ahhh, that makes much more sense. Thank u for dumbing it down for me and providing a better time line. I was listening to the video and not watching so I missed the time stamps.

The most common comment is 'never speak without a lawer'. But a far more important rule is NEVER say anything to anyone when your intoxicated.
I think an even MORE important rule is to not commit negligent homicide!
I think he murdered him. His wailing and drama was just too over the top. And how does anyone anywhere not know to call 911?? Don’t call your mom, don’t call your aunt…you call 911. Seemed he was stalling for time waiting for his boyfriend to die.

Like I always say. See something say nothing.
When he was told his “Husband “ was Deceased… He really put on a show because he already knew he was dead when he called the cops in the first place. He didn’t care about that man because if he did he wouldn’t of left the house after stabbing him to establish a alibi leaving him there to bleed to death .
There's a common behaviour when these killers call 911. They always make sure to point out that the victim is dead and there's no way they will try resuscitation techniques. The other is that they always pretend to be in a panic and not answering questions. They don't give details because when they make up a story they can say something that doesn't match with the crime scene, I guess.

Here's how I try to explain it. We don't protect the rights of murderers, diddlers, etc for their sake. We do it to ensure that that cops ALWAYS respect a suspect's innocence so that when they target a truly innocent person, that person's rights are protected. In other words, we protect those who guilty so that those who are innocent are also protected. While the guilty benefit from this, the focus is on the innocent.
Hello, and Thank You for the excellent video!
I was always taught a drunk man speaks a sober mans mind.
This one is a difficult case to pass judgment on. With the neighbor hearing statements made,it sure doesn't seem like the deceased was as well known to his family as they would like to think. May he rest in peace.
I was taught the same thing, and I believe that it still holds true. On top of that, it gives red flags when the caller is trying to spin their story to the dispatcher. Who has time for that when you are supposed to be trying to save your lives one's life? And then the audacity to give those dry ass crocodile tears. That made me more mad than anything else.
Then I see he got ten years?! Black people get more for holding weed. Death sentences for just being Black. This is so maddening. They should have charged him for lying to the police.

The stab wound that went from Nixon's abdomen all the way up to his sternum is what made me decide that this was actually a murder. The amount of force it would take to accomplish that kind of an injury with only a small pair of scissors is beyond just an accident.
That's a good point, that's what's swayed me just now. I'm fairly gullible for interpersonal or body language stuff, I can't tell people are lying. But a stab wound through the abdomen THROUGH the sternum to me is pretty black and white
Seeing as the sternum starts where the abdomen ends, that could be a wound that's measured in millimetres.
Well one time (many years ago) I was drunk and pissed off waving around a pair of scissors violently with so much force my hand got in the way when the blade was coming down I nearly sliced my hand in half! The section between my thumb and index finger was sliced through and bone was visible. Cops took me to the hospital then to the psyche ward. So I can see how something like this can happen while intoxicated.
@@maandrenwow I hope you’re ok. Do you suffer from mental illness or do you think you were just highly intoxicated? No judgement just curious.
@@Sara5698 Yeah I was an intoxicated troubled teen with mental issues and also using drugs at the time.
I thought I'd heard it all, but nope! HOW does a couple get their rocks off in bed with a fork?!? 😮. I love how compassionate this officer was!! There are no winners here, so sad.
love how the detective sits down to his level.. its a great way to connect to the suspect.
10 years is an insult to Nixon' and his family. They were clearly fighting with that much blood and acrimony. And why on earth did the DA go with deliberate homicide with the first trial?? That's so hard to prove with a case like this. They gave the jury no where to go with that and prolonged the suffering of the family.
10 years not enough have you experienced being in a rehab facility for a month 24 hours a day ?
It’s not as if Ryan Lamb hated and wanted to murder Ryan Nixon and maliciously plotted to kill him, after all.
It wasn’t planned
Think it had to do w evidence, lamb had 16fork stab wounds & the witness statement saying “you stabbed me first”. Those are damning in court when it comes to murder vs intentional/deliberate. Murder one has to PROVE premeditated planned, motive and intent. W this case there wasn’t a lot of that, that’s why they say lovers kinky quarrels are hard to prove & do happen. People that have these kinks inflict pain, get off on the pain and can go too far especially when really drunk.
@@PDKelvinL I have. A month in rehab is a cakewalk compared to prison. You can always leave rehab through AMA. It may take up to 24 hours for your release but you’re still getting out. Also, rehab gives you medication for coming down. Prison will let you cold Turkey that shit. Both are pretty bad situations though 😅 I wouldn’t want to be there again myself
When he said, "Nooo... Baby." It sounded so fake. There was no emotion.
I live in Kalispell! I was shook when you said flathead county. Ive never heard of this case befere.
He is determined to let everyone know over and over and over and over again that he just came home 20 mins ago. And no tears and no snot from crying os hard.
"HE'S NOT REVIVABLE!!!!!"
No Sh*t, this isn't call of duty.
That seasoned officer (detective?) was phenomenal.
I prefer listening to your story telling than listening to these interrogations that I can barely hear
That's a pretty good detective. Hewas nice and gentle the entire time and I think it help break him down, psychologically speaking.
I’ve been a true-crime junkie for a looooong time… but it’s scenarios like this that make my heart and ears very tired 😣
I’ve watched a lot of these murders. I do feel bad for him. I think things got out of hand.
That was bad...! Especially that first "nooo"...!
Two Ryans in one relationship... what are the odds of that?
As a fellow Ryan, we don't normally murder people that we love. You can just ask my girlfriend. Her name is Ry-anne.
50/50
I've know 3 couples in my life with where both of them were named Terri Terry....
I know 2 guys named Kevin that are married. People just refer to them as The Kevins.
It's weird.
@@petertomasetti3338are they home alone
A mistrial, _are you kidding me?_ Then a plea deal for only TEN YEARS in prison! And even THAT, Ryan tried to argue against. This is ridiculous.
Come on... Almost everybody is doing it, even the officers admitted doing some hardcore stuff on a regular basis. (Probably during their shift)
26:09 - Look at the subtitles
I think that if you get that drunk it makes it hard for you to gage how hard you are stabbing someone and I am sure that he didn’t want his partner to die. This guy was at the blacked out drunk stage so I think that he did have a fair ruling but I do hope that he doesn’t get out of prison and do it again!
Its VERY obvious why they arrested him at the scene. Nobody is questioning why
That's quite the interrogation room
All of the guilty people and their excessive "please" 🙄
So you can legally question anyone blind drunk as long as they nod at the Miranda rights. Make that make sense 🤔
Yeppers. Mirandized=Fair Game.
4:45 “Can you scratch my ear” dude seriously 😳😂
These police seemed so kind, like the type you would want to show up when you need help.
Not a tear in sight. He was way over dramatising and the police could see that straight away. Rip Ryan. Thank you Beyond Evil ⭐
Dying over another dude. Come on.
What
..his face is beat red .He was crying like a baby because he was screwed
@@theunforgiven2885 Still over dramatic ⭐
The police already knew the relationship was abusive.
They shouldn’t be able to question someone that is under the influence.
The contrast between the beginning of the video and when they start testing the blood on him is hilarious
lol love how everyone just hated how hard he sucked at acting surprised at the beginning
edit: he stabbed his lover AND then let him bleed to death while he left the home for alibi and to call his PARENTS NOT THE EMERGENCY and he only got 10 years for it . just wow
Ten years?!
Anyone else think that doing the interview and DNA etc in the hallway is a little strange?
