Hi Diana. I have never commented on your channel before, but felt I should today.
Last night I fervently prayed to our Lord. I asked him to please help me to feel more inspired to read and study His Word more diligently.
First thing this morning, I clicked on your video. I so needed this encouragement and inspiration!
Some would call this a coincidence. I call it an answered prayer.

I'm on my 2nd year of your recommendation of the Bible Recap. It has changed my life. I've never read the Bible all the way thru in my 67 years. I learn something new each day even though I read it last year. Thank you for sharing...it has made a difference in my life!!
I’m 66, and this is my 2nd year reading the Bible through, also-with the Bible Recap. For me, that made all the difference. I also use the audible Bible and listen to the passage(s) for the day. Plus, I almost always read/listen to it with my coffee in the morning. I took your advice, Diana, and started the Bible Recap 2 years ago. Thank you!

I get up, make our bed, and my husband has my hot water ready for my tea. I take my tea cup back to our room where I have a comfortable chair, a table with a lamp on it to have "tea" with Abba. I can look out my window and thank the Lord for the beautiful scene; I read my devotions before I dive into the Bible book that I am studying and afterwards I write in my gratitude journal. I love this time now and don't like to miss it when we have an early appointment to rush off to. BUT, even days that I don't have that morning time, I talk to Him; getting ready; folding laundry; fixing meals, etc. We need Him - make time with Him a priority even if it can't be a set aside time. Thank you for your encouraging words; your enthusiasm for the Lord - keep on keeping on!

I did The Bible Recap last year I did read the entire Old Testament and I am working my way through the New Testament I grew up in deeply religious southern Baptist family and had some bad experiences I don’t attend church for many years but have recently found a church I love and feel as though I am finally growing in faith

Thank you for reminding us time and again. With the help of your recommendations I was abel to build up a consistent Bible study habit over the last to years. I stuck reading my bible on a habit that I already had - having a cup of coffee early in the morning, all by myself before anyone else was up. And than you recommended the Bible Recap just in time to intensive my Bible reading after some weeks of just reading for 5 minutes a day....So thank you Diana. And if you read this and are struggling right now - just try it for those 5 minutes! Looking back I'm just amazed how God was using my very small start. He is right there to help you understand and enjoy the reading of his word. I'm praying for everybody watching, that you will find this joy and the time bits of time every day to just get started ❤

I’ve read through the Bible a few times. This year I joined a community reading plan and it has transformed my studying and relationship with the Lord. It was one aspect I was definitely missing out on. The Holy Spirit has been working.
Diane, I appreciate your leadership. I just had a bad experience at church with (not our Pastor) but someone in leadership that is not going about leadership in the right way. People are pulling away from this person and what could have been done under that leadership is diminishing. It breaks my heart, but I've had to reset in how I go about signing up for things at church. Please pray that God helps this come to a better outcome, I need to pray over this person, but my peace is shaken. I wish I knew a study that would help with teaching leaders in the church and group participants about how to lead and how to function as a body of Christ.

I am one of the 70% as well. For my whole life I’ve struggled to read the Bible due to many excuses I always make. Well, first and foremost we need God, we all agree on that., But you are definitely needed in my life!! I know I needed to hear this today and am so excited to get started!! You are such a big light in this world for me Diana!

Your love for the Lord and all of us is so evident in each of your videos. Thank you for all you do.
Change and Rewards. Rewards: I printed a Bible reading list for the year and stuck it in a binder along with a daily list to track what scriptures I read. I keep it next to my bed and fill it out at the end of the day which helps keep me on track. By doing this daily, I have formed a new habit. Now I'm not only doing my daily reads, but I am weeks ahead of the printout, spending more time in specific books and even doing additional studies of them, both at home and at my church. Maybe this will help to motivate someone else out there. :)

Change and Rewards. Change: I used to read the Bible every day. Then we started going to a new church and that habit slipped away. I was doing other things, but had no desire to read my Bible. So we left that church, finding one that is more Bible-based, and I am now back in the Bible again every day. Even my husband says this new church is challenging him more too. Win-win!

thank you so much for the beautiful reminder. Consistency is key. So often, I feel held back by my own perfectionism. Allowing myself to start small and even reward the small beginnings is a beautiful path to growth. Many blessings to you and your family and thank you so much for your continuous time and love.

Thank you Diana, I was waiting for that donut. 😂 I'm in the 70%. I do notice when I'm not in God's Word, I'm bitter, worried, angry, irritated and the list of negatives goes on. When I get any of those negatives in my life I go back to what has my time in God's Word been like. It almost always relates to my time without the Father.

69% said they don't read the Bible more because "they have the time, but choose to do other things". They are saying it is not a priority for them. They have other activities they would rather do, right?

Help! I'm 62 years old. I'm the youngest of 5 children,. Most of my older siblings have strong faith and are spiritual. I was left at home with other family members when Sunday school happened (spoiled). I was confirmed believe it or not. We were between ministers and I feel we were all just slid through. However I raised my 2 children going to Sunday school. They are strong Christians and I feel at this age I want to be more spiritual. I'm embarrassed. I feel I want to learn from the very beginning, like a child. I have 2 grandchildren and I want to be able to answer their questions, and be part of their spiritual learning. Can you tell me where I should start.

I love your utube and always tell my self l need to read the bible but l do not do this not because of the 70% which the serva said but my understanding and Evan pronation the words wrong. I am dyslexic but over the years l have been able to enjoy reading books but if we discussed the same book, we had read what I would comment on, might not be the same as you had read. I also chose books were there is space between the rows of words. I live in England so l do not know if l would be able to join your class and they may be to difficult for me but l think l am making an excuse there has you always explain the bible very clearly and make it so interesting, being dyslexic also has a real lovely treat. I see in pictures when I’m reading in great detail so it does take me some time to read anything, but the pictures are always beautiful and changing all the time. I hope l have not board you please is there anyway you can think of for me to start on this journey thank you for all the time you must spend producing your wonderful videos from Lynda ❤
