Gold Buffalo vs The Britannia - Which Should You Stack?

- Could this be The Top Gold Coin to Buy in 2021? The Gold Britannia 2021 is a truly game changing coin in design, purity, and security. Its a big time upgrade and is going to rival the American Gold Buffalo. Both coins are wonderful and I will stack both. Once the new American Gold Eagle comes out later this year, we will get a look to see if it keeps the top gold coin status. Until then, the Britannia is a great option any day.

I switched to Gold Britannia’s for 2021. Lower premium then Maples and easily the nicest gold bullion coin right now.
Sure is. Checks all the boxes.
So nice! Definitely on my list this year
It's definitely one to have.
Agreed they are beautiful coins. After buying a tube of the silver britannia's, I felt the need for a gold one. Love the quality, design and the lower premiums.
Gold britannia is a heckuva coin!
Wow! I literally said “DAMN!” When you showed the gold. Congrats.
Yeah I was floored.
Just ordered 2 1/10oz ones. That finally gets me to an ounce!!! Started stacking in July 2020. Pretty pumped. Stay safe all!!! Great video!!!
Mike D congratulations brother.
What does stay safe mean? I keep hearing people tell me stay safe, And I'm thinking to myself why are they telling me to stay safe? Is there something dangerous lurking out there?

Wonderful Video!! Im Def. gonna pick up a gold Britannia mine Prob. will be the 1/4 ounce version though lol...

Congrats on your Britannia. Very nice. Yes, I think it very well could be the most secure con so far!
I think so.
Absolutely beautiful. I love the privy and the change they made to the shield. I wonder if all the security measures will be included on the fractional gold Britannias ???
They are even the tenth!
For sure! 🥇👍
Man, what beautiful coins. Love the new features on the Britannia, and the Buffalo. How can you go wrong. Buffalo is always one of the top choices. Thank you, my friend!
Thanks brother.
My budget prevents me from getting the 1 oz Britannia, but I managed to save up and get a 1/2 oz Britannia at the start of the year. You're totally right, the 2021 coins are a thing of beauty.
I do like the Britannias and being in the UK makes sense for me to stack em. The Buffalo though I do like. One of my favourite Gold coins
Britannias are pretty good value outside the UK as well. One of the cheapest secure bullion coins in the world at the mo.
@@sirrathersplendid4825 Yes that's good. I see the Krugs usually a bit cheaper here but then Brits are probably the cheapest 24ct
Looked great in silver and looked greater in gold. Thanks for sharing an amazing coin.
Thanks Chuck.
As soon as I saw the silver Brit the other day, I had to order 25 of those. Beautiful. Now you show me the Gold. I gotta have at least one and I already have two other special gold on the list for this year. That is a lot of cash for me.
Right on! Keep some cash for the new 2022 year of the tiger. They should release in September or October.
Thank you for putting these videos together. I like how you explain things clearly and not try to sell.... on that note, I am interested in starting to collect gold and see that you order yours. I have a small shop near me but I’m not sure sure of trustworthiness. Where do you order from? Thanks!😀
Lots of places but mostly buy local. He was closed during this purchase.
I absolutely love this coin. I have the 1/10 oz. wish I’d have gone bigger. Still impressive they got these security features on the 1/10. It’s insane. Wish the US Mint would do similar features. Based on what I’ve seen of the redesign though I’m not hopeful.
Hopefully we find out soon.
I agree, the reverse if beautiful. I love the security features too. I wish it was easier to get in fractional. I know they're out there, I just find them difficult to track down. Thanks for showing off your gold and silver. 👍🏻
Liberty Coin on eBay has them cheap!

Will definitely pick one up over the next couple of weeks!

You were right, I'm very please that you show and get that beautiful coin ! It is definitely the next coin a get !!!! I like the Buffalo too (more expensible) but i don't understand why people don't appreciate the art and design of the Britannia coin ? I'm a french Canadian and you should probably know that we don't really like the the queen but you can't denied that this coin is gorgeous !!!! Good choice
Lots of love went into this design. The detail is incredible.
other than the milk spotting, the only thing I would have waned from the new Britannia is the field on the Queen side too. or at least a new feature on the Queen side too. beautiful coins, great video.
Thanks ragtag!
Does get a bit boring looking at the same image of the queen on so many coins. 🥱
It would look better in my hand. Good video again. Thanks

I got three of the 2021 1/10oz Brittania's, awesome coins.
They truly are.
Same. Three and counting. Beautiful things.
I just picked up one with my stimulus. Thanks for sharing this video!
Glad it was helpful!
Picked up one of those Gold Brittania's recently - beautiful coin & best premium to buyback out of all of the gold 1oz coins I've found.
Very cheap premiums.
I wonder if it’s the security features? Means dealers can see pretty fast if they have the genuine article. No need for time-consuming measurements and tests.
Beautiful coins! I agree the US mint needs to pick up there game.
For sure Steve!
Had to tell you SB that I spent 20k on gold and silver in 2021. Love my gold. Happy New Year Boss 👍
Happy new year!
Great vid Sb! Would you put that in top 3 of best gold coins to buy whether it’s 1oz or smaller ?
Oh for sure. Definitely better than the maple to me. Hard to move maple out of my top three but it has.
Hmm that’s saying something
Gold version only 😆😆
Great video. Like !
That is a beautiful coin, gold is on my list for this year
I hope they make a bunch.
Well done SB. I want more for my grandchildren!
Jack bless you sir!
I picked up the gold Britannia’s, Gold Maples, and gold Philharmonics, all in 1oz, along with my Buffalos & Eagles . I love them all the same. I will love them more when they are worth 5 times their current cash value!

Damn the closeup at the end is awesome

So NO MORE SILVER.... BECAUSE YOU ARE ON GOLD NOW 🥇🥇🥇 congratulations "Gold Britches" 😎👍
😂😂😂 not yet
The number one and most secure gold coin to stack is the Canadian 1 Oz Gold Maple Leaf. As far as I know the only coin with a security feature to prevent against counterfeiting. I'm also in love with the 2021 Gold Britannia baby. Throw in some free gold 1 Oz Krugerrands, the 2009 Ultra High Relief American Eagle, some British gold sovereigns and we have a deal.
Sorry maple this one has more security features.
Britannia has at least three: padlock, waves, and the shield lines.
@@SilverBritches yep, Brittania more security features
Looks dope dude. I think i got to get one now.
Thanks brother
Nice!! Love em!! 💪🏼
Me too!
Absolutely Beautiful Coins!
They sure are.
There very elegant coins I love the art on them
Very clean design.
Nice coin! I agree Britannias are the most secure coins.
They sure are!
I bought the H39 coin capsule with a 32mm ring insert, and it fits a gold Britannia perfectly.
Does it not slide around a little bit? Everyone seems to be saying that the coin is just slightly too small and rattles in all the coin holders.
@@trekkiejunk no, it fits perfectly.
I live in the states and I’m trying to start acquiring more quarter ounce gold coins, but the gold American eagles are a bit high I was wondering what your thoughts are on buying the 1/4oz war of 1812 gold coins (being below 490)
On the buy list for 2021; also curious when the 2021 'commemorative' US Peace and Morgan silver dollars are coming out; heard they will have a privy for each of the old mint marks (CC, O, etc.). Want to get a few of those.
Hot coins coming in 2021.
Honestly I prefer the silver version just because of the larger diameter making all the art details even easier to see lol. I got mine in the Apmex PCGS first strike holders when preorders were only $1.50 more than the regular, because I figured they would at least lower my chances of getting already milk spotted ones. Seems to have done the trick so far! Truly next generation bullion without any micro chip shenanigans. The Sunshine mint mark SI has been around almost a decade now and counterfeiters still haven't managed to copy it, they just stick to non security marked bullion, which bodes extra well for the longevity of cutting edge secure bullion coming out now.
Silver is more reflective.
I think milk-spotting usually doesn’t show for a few years. The Canada mint has a far worse reputation for coins that milk-spot, though they’ve improved over the last year or two. Having said that, recently bought a 2020 Perth Mint Kangaroo with a small milk-spot. 🤷♂️
Can I tell you what gets rid of milk spots, get yourself connoisseur dry wipes, They are dry wipes for silver n gold But I don't recommend cleaning gold, just put the silver coin with milk spots under warm water and lightly rub the coin and they will be removed easily.
@@sirrathersplendid4825 connoisseur dry wipes which you can find on eBay in the red Box will remove milk spots easily. You can also find them on Amazon
Kangaroos spot badly. Stick with perth coins in capsules. The capsules don't prevent spots but the mint puts more effort into minting them.
That is truly a beautiful coin. 💰
I couldn't give it it's true beauty. I tried.
I have a 1967 and a 1994 I like them a lot because she is young with that coin she is 94
No spring chicken anymore 😆😆
Real sick!
Thanks Victor!
Was planning on stacking the silver Britannia big time. Started with 10 and put in capsules. One of 10 have already milk spotted. Will save for the gold as I like the design and security. I know silver is silver so I will separate any milk spotted coins.
That's a shame on the milk.
What exactly is milk spotting? And what causes it? Will every silver coin eventually get these spots? What about gold, platinum and palladium? Are they safe from this?
royal mint silver is pretty bad for spotting iirc
Ok, you're totally making me want to get one of those this year.... Ohhhhh 🤤
Go for it big baller!
You got yourself a pretty nifty intro
Thanks
Hey SB. I got my first gold Buffalo a couple weeks ago, and I was like meh. Then I got the 32 mm capsule with the black ring. I'm speechless now. It just popped with the black border. I need to see it first thing in the morning now. Looking for the Brits on the next dip
Britannia pops even more bro. Congratulations on the buffalo.
Oh going to listen to this one ... like all the other ones ..:))
I bought a 2019 gold britannia 1oz in an ms70 slab for a good price, thats pretty as well
I never met a Britannia I wouldn't like
Nice! Bought a couple gold Britannia 1/10th oz from MM online when they were at $197 each last month! i collect 1/10th oz gold coins. 20 per tube. 20 ways to spend 2 ounces of gold without breaking a 1 ozer! Premiums are higher for smaller fractions but it wasn't to bad on these! . Those look great side by side!
Metals are dropping more. Glad I held back.

Stunning just stunning
It is better in person.
Thanks for the video, but no one in Europe was shocked by this...
Till today nobody of us would stack US American coins such as the Silver (or Gold) Eagle, because they have the worst value and they are the most counterfeited ones.
Understood!
Nice coin!
Yes it is!
What should I buy I love britanias I got the 2020,2021. Silver 1oz Much are the. Gold versions!!
Both versions are remarkable.
God damn the both of you, now your gonna make me get one! 🤣. Britches we have similar taste u put me onto the bears vault bars n I got a few. They are fire.
Yes they are! He's got a great thing going.
I’m buying my first Brittania in a few days. It will be the gold coronation version and I can hardly wait to get it.
I agree they are beautiful. The British have a lot of history to brag about as well. The British pound dates back to around 775AD in Anglo-Saxon England.
Very true.
I agree, security is the most important thing.
Ordered a set last week just before the price pull back ( told you I was a market manipulator ). Haven't received them yet because I ordered a few 21 eagles with them. If they are more beautiful that the earlier Brittannas I'll be thrilled.
Everyone is talking about milk spots. I own over 500 oz of silver, some over 2000 years old. The only milk spot I have is on a 2010 ASE PROOF. Nun on my maples, Brittannas, ASE, or any. Am I just lucky?

I'm stacking gold on even years and silver on odd years. 2020 was a really odd year so I got more silver then.
I stack the premiums now. Makes more sense.
I wish the U.S. Mint would step up their game. We should be paving the way and our Mint is still stuck way back in the 1960’s.
😆😆😆👍🏼
Out of curiosity: why buying both types ? Liquidity reasons depending of the market/place to sell (LCS)?
Yes and tax benefits for resell.
Tax benefits? How so? I am new to stacking, but wanted to start with a couple gold Britannias because they look much nicer than Buffalos, have security features and the premiums are far lower. But is there a tax benefit to selling your buffalos?
Yes....got it too. It's a baaaad boy!
Sure is!
What a beauty, man! But no queen coins for me ...haha , i stick with gold buffalo and AGE...
I can definitely understand there.
I'm curious are your silver or gold Britannia coins do either have a sharp edges on the reedes edges. I got me a silver one cause I like it and thought about stacking them but I'm curious if they're all like that or did I just get unlucky.
