  • The 1 oz American Gold Buffalo gold coin seems to be the clear crowd favorite on RUclips if not in actual consumer market. This video discusses the US Mint's 24K gold coin and its popularity in the U.S. market.
    NOTE: I am not a financial planner. I'm just a guy on the internet, talking about precious metals. Always do your own research before buying gold or silver.

      2 is 1 It’s a no brainer but they may have their reasons. Who knows? As a fractional, .9999 gold coin with excellent appeal it would meet my criteria perfectly! By the way do you still feel we will see $1790 or have we put in a bottom? Personally I think we will, not that it matters much to me. We know where gold is heading in the medium to long term. Regarding 4:48, although the American Gold Eagle and the South African Krugerrand are both 22k gold coins, their compositions are different. The American Gold Eagle is made from 91.67% gold, 5.33% copper & 3% silver which give it a golden color. On the other hand, the South African Krugerrand is made from 91.67% & 8.33% copper which gives a red gold color.

    I just bought my 1st 1oz gold coin and with a bit of hesitation I decided on the buffalo. Based on looks alone it would've been between the Maple and almost any Perth mint gold coin. The .9999 fine with the maple leaf or just about any perth design looks the absolute best imo but being my first 1oz purchase I leaned toward the buffalo so I could have a mixture of the 24k with sovereign coin.

    • @tackoholic2334
      @tackoholic2334 2 года назад +2

      @@reinaldonavarro3800 if you find a coin shop you can most likely get the best price from one of those with cash. However beware not all coin shops are best price. Unfortunately I do not have a local coin shop (aka LCS) near me. I buy mostly from reputable online bullion dealers. Herobullion, SDBullion, JMBullion, Apmex, BoldPreciousMetals, Provident Metals, are some of the larger most reputable ones. I personally prefer SD, Hero, and JM. JM has been a bit high with prices lately but them and Apmex usually have the biggest variety. SD and Hero usually have some of the best pricing. Now is a pretty hectic time because of the constant changing in spot prices. I would check all of the above and find the least expensive. You can also avoid paying higher costs by choosing to pay via wire transfer or electronic check. Using a debit or credit card will cost more. Deposit your cash in your checking account and use electronic check payment method. When I purchased my 1st buffalo a cpl months ago the gold spot price was around $1928 and I paid $2006. It was on sale for the $2006. It will be cheaper now with spot price in the $1800s. You can buy other 1oz gold coins for a bit less like the Britannia or Krugerrand. Hope this helps! Once you start accumulating gold and silver and start holding it in your hands it gets addictive! But it's a great way to preserve your wealth. 👍
