If you were on a limited budget what types of precious metals would be recommended to you at a local coin shop? Gold is at an all time high and silver price is still lagging. Here in UK, if you want to spend say, £5000 on silver, you will actually receive £4000's worth, thanks to the fact that there is a 20% VAT on silver purchases. Same for all precious metals except the yellow stuff.

This is probably the wrong place to say this, based on the themes and direct family I have who worship at the alter of American Capitalism: Capitalism is literally the exact opposite of a system that encourages trustworthiness, integrity, honesty, and generosity.
The goal is CAPITAL in the hands of a few at any cost. Nothing else.

I recently spoke with Harry in his shop. Not only did he take the time to help me with my purchase, but we had a wonderful conversation about a shared love of music from the 60s - particularly the Bossa-Nova genre. I was pleasantly surprised that he was so knowledgeable about the tunes, artists and composers. He is a very kind gentleman. I have great respect for Harry. I am lucky to have his shop close by. I am a very loyal customer.

His honesty is the selling point as far as I'm concerned. He just proved exactly what separates him from pawn shops... Those customers who are selling are getting beat out of their money dealing with pawn shops.

I never been to a real coin shop until I went to Harry's. He's a legitimate coin shop owner. Others shops I went to in our are were just about "Precious Metals" like silver and gold. But if you bring up an error coin or something minor they just kinda laughed you out the door. Not with Harry He was a collector before he was a business man. True numismatic coin dealer
I may have to venture over and visit them sometime. Not too far from SW Washington where I am.
I myself am not a sports guy. Do not watch ESPN, sport analysis is not my interest... But watching Harry talk about the moves silver has made, while looking at the price chart in real life really made me smile. This is a sport I would watch if Harry was a commentator. 👍

My favorite moment from Harry is when he was asked about charting gold/silver in real dollar terms, and he was like "no, we don't do that, it doesn't keep up with inflation." in so many words. LOL, that's like the worst possible thing you can say about gold and silver, and Harry is happy to tell you.

I love the idea of gold and all the options this video presents. From my standpoint of not having any gold or silver, though I've had a little in the past. Good evening to all 👋UK stacker here 😉 at mumbles years old I'm a bit late to the party but I started collecting with a beautiful silver dollar 15 years ago , now I stack and have a modest collection of US , UK , Mexican and Canadian 1oz bullion and after watching Harry and a few other creators , a nice little stash of fractional in case of SHTF .
I'm fascinated by the history behind all of it , I grew up handling Victorian coppers and such as a kid ( yes I'm that old ) and never really gave them much thought but I'll never forget that first purchase of an 1878 Morgan and the feeling of handling such an old coin and thinking where it had been and who had held it .
Right now I am saving for a nice chunk of gold but it will be a while before I'm in a position to buy but I'll hopefully get there soon 🙂
I am in the UK as well Paul, but I'm a newbe as I've only really just started my silver collecting in January this year and I have a nice collection of bullion from around the world but mainly Brittanias so will just keep an eye on the low points and buy some more

I wish I had a Harry's coin shop in my town. I'd be there every day and on Sundays my family would have him over for dinner where we would gather around and hear him tell stories.
I really like Harry's Coin Shop because they are hardworking, high-integrity small shop business owners who truly want the best outcome for their customers! I lived in the Portland/Vancouver area and did not know they were there until this "RUclips" video! In many cases, dealers are aggressive in selling a customer rather than educating them to make a wise decision. These guys are the best! I have been in this business also and it is a very high-stress business, but they make it fun! I applaud this coin shop and the personal approach that they have in the business and toward new and seasoned customers!

Just started my stacking journey last month here in Canada with 2 , 10oz bars and it’s the best thing I ever bought going back tomorrow for some silver maple leafs, I decided for the next year starting next month I’m gunna invest in a 1/4oz gold coin every month for the next year to get my self going honestly can’t wait I’m so excited, thanks again to this Channel for getting me addicted! I started my silver stacking journey about a month ago, 3/12/24. I would like to have around 100 silver coins and rounds by years end. This channel seems genuine. Not a lot of bad advice to be found here, mostly sound advice. Which is not always the case at shops and exchanges. I have people give the worst in person advice on earth sometimes, not Harry, he seems to try help his customers.
