I take a photo of my logbook every time there's a new entry... and enter everything in Foreflight as well.... Is a photo/copy "good enough" for the FAA if I ever lose my book?
Question. Would there be any concerns in terms of acceptability with the FAA in using excel or numbers to keep those logbook records? Or does it have to be an "approved" electronic logbook system?
Great info.

I just found an error in my logbook🙃 why do sport XC have to differ from PPL 😭
I don't get it. I have the same question as FullSendPrecision. Why can't you just take a photo or make a copy of the logbook at frequent regular intervals? Entrusting your entire flight history to a single physical book is idiotic. That's like people that keep all their important files on one harddrive with NO BACKUPS and then scream for help on reddit for "how do i recover my files????!!!!". LOL
