@@tilionlife nah this option is much better you pay a one time fee and you get the template and it’s simple and easy to use. Has everything you need. Logten you have to pay a subscription fee which is annoying and overpriced.
@@danielkenweisu4682 definitely not overpriced in my opinion. It has way more features and even tracks FAR 117 duty periods for you. Most things are subscription based these days. They have downsides and also lots of upsides. You are paying if you buy one coffee per week you would be spending more than it coast to have LogTen. Time is money. It’s way faster to use. I would rather spend time with my family

Can you print and bind it
How did you financed your flight training ? There's a flight school here in Quebec asking about 75k, how much would you recommand someone to save up?
I got some help from my parents, worked a part time job, got a student loan, and got financial aid through unemployment. I flew when I could, and therefore paid as I went and didn’t have very much debt after I finished. I remember saving as much as you can, because you can train without limitations and get it down faster. If you are taking a college program, then you have no choice but to pay the whole sum up front, and take a student loan.

It’s an excel spreadsheet, so I don’t think you can import it into other apps. You can use google sheets tho, and open that in the sheets app on your phone, and have it stored offline as well
I got the American version and your layout is much better
I want to buy one but witch of all is the most complete or witch one do you recommend I’m in Mexico but i want to fly in other airline in the future like Qatar Singapore emirates etc
Fundamentally they are all the same, with country specific flight duty tracking, which I don’t use personally. So the US or Canada version would work for you as there is nothing Mexico specific. It’s just an advanced excel spreadsheet, so you can customize it later if needed.
You forgot the biggest disadvantage to this logbook: nowhere to copy endorsements and add signatures.
That is true, but it’s a simple excel spreadsheet, so I’m not sure if there is a way to digital sign anything 🤔. I guess the best way is if you print it.

I paid for the logbook but no logbook yet, I mistakenly tried to download it on my iPad and now it won’t let me download it on my Computer. I’ve contacted them through the website but no response yet. I thought it’d be a quick resolution.
The owner is usually pretty good at correspondence, but it has been a few years since we talked last. I don’t control any aspect of the business, just a user myself 🙂. If it’s on your iPad, you should be able to email it to yourself and then download to desktop. It’s just an excel file that you can share to all your drives. Hopefully you find a resolution quickly!

Is it certified/ official for Transport Canada????
Yes it is. As long as the format confirms to the format you see in the paper log books that are certified by Transport Canada then this one should be as well. TC doesnt say it has to to explicitly say so.

I have no ambition to chase metal. My goal is to achieve a work life balance where I can watch my kids grow up and still enjoy what I love to do, fly.

I started at 25 after getting out of the military, no problem at all. Some people were much older than me.
I have been using it for over a year now. Not impressed. Filling the info is easy, but the printing option is useless. I don't know how to work it out? Maybe. But it is not intuitive, not easy to set up and I bought this looking for a solution, not trying to become Microsoft Xcel proficient... I am not an Apple guy and the iPad is company's; can't and won't use it for personal things like installing LogTen Pro in it. So, I am looking for an Android-PC app to move away from this one.
Yah it’s not an app, just an excel spreadsheet. I didn’t have an issue printing when I was moving airlines, just RUclips how to print excel spreadsheets. If you can fly a plane, you can print an excel spreadsheet 😉
Now if we’re an open office spreadsheet.

Use different tones in your voice to highlight things. Monotone voices create boring, tiresome and slow videos and presentations.
