Genesis Toki always reminded me of NES Karnov. I think its the gritty kind of color palette or the sound fx or something.
Kickle cubicle music was in my head for weeks after a good binge play👍
John Riggs, you are awesome. I love your videos, i love the past videos with your family, and i just feel like you a good guy with a great passion for video games, which i totally relate to and appreciate. Thank you!
I'm just some dude; a fan like anyone else.
@@JohnRiggs nope, you are so much more than some dude, you are funny, talented, creative, and kind, and this world is just a little bit brighter with you in it, truly. Thank you for sharing part of your world and passion with me and all the viewers you entertain. I can't speak for others, but there have been rough days where watching your videos helped me smile, appreciate the simple things in life, and inspired me. Not trying to blow smoke or have any agenda other than saying I think you are awesome, and I'm so very grateful for your channel and vids. Again, thank you.

Einhander is the only Shoot-em-up I have ever enjoyed, amazing game. If I had to compare it to something, it feels like if Tekken 3 and FFVII had a shoot-em-up baby.
Yeah, I said it.
Played the PS1 demo of that game, then ditched school to get the game at kb toys when it was available. 🥹
I love JOHN RIGGS! Let's go what a great guy and what great content too!
you're literally the best. Thank you
Okay I’m sold on CraterMaze!
Hey thank you for featuring me dude. I’m looking forward to seeing you and Michelle again soon 🎉 Stay rad 🔥
Thanks always! Gotta get you to 100k!!
I clicked this video because I recognized Kickle Cubicle on the thumbnail, despite the blur.
Very underrated action-puzzle game. I even ripped it recently for The Spriters Resource.
Happy Sunday! A Riggs video to brighten our lives! These seriously make mine and my kids day.
Dude, Lagoon is so good! The music is amazing! Specifically King Phillips castle hits so hard! Great choice!
Another day more games
Lagoon seems like a polarising game. people either love it or hate it. I wonder what it is that makes it so great that some/most people are missing.
whoop I love TheGebs24! More from across the pond please 😀
I started playing Kickle Cubicle off your recommendation a couple of years ago, and it's amazing. So much fun!
Man, old-school people are a patient crowd. If I were to play that Blueprint game I would lose my mind if I assembled that cannon only to be "rewarded" with that kind of shoot-em-up sequence. I have NEVER seen a bullet so slow, how do you even predict a correct timing sequence for something like that?
Super fun video. Thanks john
Lagoon’s biggest problem was trying to attack if the sword was bigger it would have been great game. I never was able to beat the last boss😔
Fun fact: Here in Brazil Sylvester is called Frajola and Tweety is called Piu Piu!
Kickle Cubicle was one I had as a kid but never managed to finish. Went through it again recently and cleared it out; good times. The bonus stages get very difficult!
Great list of good games John and I'll check out your friends channel 😊
Einhänder is so siiiiiick. Gorgeous shooter with awesome weapons and bosses. I bought the NTSC-J version a few years ago for $16. The US version costs a fortune just because of its sheer scarcity.
Love Kickle Cubicle, great game, like Pengo meets Solomon's Key...
Einhander is a SUCH a hidden gem. Played it as a kid and was blown away by the soundtrack and gameplay. Such a great choice by her.
Woo! Got all the carts in the thumbnail before seeing them in the video! I was already excited to see Lagoon, because it has an absolutely fascinating world to explore; I'd love to play the Sharp X68000 version someday. Super glad to see Panic here, too; it has a visual style that I ADORE, and can't think of many games that look even close to it; the closest I've got are Yume Nikki and the Japan-only Milon game for SNES.
Einhänder is absolutely an amazing game. My friend left it at my house and then moved across the country...I still have it 👀
Listen man the only reason I even clicked on this video today was I saw the pixelated kickle cubicle and knew what it was immediately I'm so happy somebody else loves this game it is so good
Lagoon brings back so many good memories, but dont forget to save your game!!
fortunately you can save it anywhere. Several times I would save it RIGHT before I died so I had to keep reloading and jump in a different direction.
Oh Einhander such an awesome shoot em up for the Playstation 1
I can't believe I forgot Lagoon existed. It was one of the early SNES games I was interested in before going Genesis (blame MK for that)
I bought a copy of Toki (Mega Drive) just yesterday at a convention. Looking forward to playing it
Atari 2600: Maze Craze
NES: Darkwing Duck
SNES: Skyblazer
Genesis: Gain Ground
Gameboy: Jurassic Park 2
Gameboy Advance: Mega Man Battle Network
N64: Micro Machines 64
Playstation: You don't know Jack
Dreamcast: Berserk
GameCube: Kururin Splash
Crater Maze is a great chill game.
Man Panic....looks interesting 😅
Great video as always
Crater Maze is awesome!!!
I really liked Lagoon and the music!
Einhander is a great PS1 game. I got it when it came out back in the day, but wish I still had it. Needs a resurgence.
Lagoon's bosses were so hard. I needed save states to get it done.
I love Lagoon! I use to rent it at the time.
The final boss part is a real pain, but the ending is well worth the pain of having to keep
continuing. 😀
Yes John we need some delicious🍧lady from the loft🍾
TheGebs24 is our favorite HIDDEN GEMMA!
Can you do 1 game 10 console videos once a month? I love having random games recommended to try complete
Love these videos.
Panic is pretty wild, id be doen eoth that today. I remember I wanted Lagoon so bad as a kid, but seeing it now, I'm not in the mood. Id have to find an snes that speaks to me for the now. I enjoyed the looney tunes extra credit stage work. Kickle cubicle is fairly classic. Einhander is a memory but slipped away, I'm playing a few other shooters I found. Retro wise there are some I would like to try I never have, unsure about Einhander. Toki looks like a drug trip to me now, I'm good. Others may be enjoyable, to each their iwn feels of interest.
I played Lagoon back in the day and I enjoyed it. However, neither I or my friends could figure out how to hit the finally boss. What were we doing wrong? Did we miss something? I still own it and would play it again now if I knew I could finish.
I have Rastan for Sega Master System. I might have it for Commodore 64 NTSC version but not sure if it’s different than the Pal version but think I might of sold it back in 2011. I would like to see the comparisons between the 2. Probably Sega Master System one was better.
Wow you never here anyone talk about blueprint. I had the one for the c64 as a kid. I could never make it past the second level
For me, Looney tunes have no villains
I didn’t know Ronda rousey was British
I am not sure if I played the Looney Tunes game; seems familiar.
Lagoon looks like willow
Einhander rules
Anything by atlas is generally great.
Cratermaze - where the green blobs are apparently Christians
Lagoon hell yes! Literally the only SNES CIB game I have or want in my collection.
NES Mario brothers three
Super Nintendo , DKC two or Chrono trigger
Sega genesis sonic two or streets of rage2
N64 no mercy or ocarina of time
PlayStation one metal gear solid
👍👍
Anyone remember thus code? Up Down Left Right A Start
No
Omg my first code I did.
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
*Two-key
Lagoon is....bad.
never!
I'm here just to warn you all to AVOID Lagoon. Such a terrible game!
