‘Yelling into your phone, get a camera and yell into that’…wonderful advice! Enjoyed once again! With all the new lenses for APSC I may have to order a little Dougie (out of stock once again).
A very handsome review of this lens. For a budget lens manufacturer, Viktrox does a pretty impressive job with their line of lenses. I have the Viltrox 24mm f/1.8, and it’s pretty dang good. There is slight vignetting when wide open, but the A7iv has a very good compensation feature that hides it pretty well. For filmmaking, I think the clickless aperture ring is actually a benefit. When I shot a feature film with the GH5, I used a lens with a clickless aperture ring. I had one shot where I walked from outdoors into a building using a gimbal. I had to practice racking the exposure from the outdoor setting to the indoor lighting. But, it worked. I tried it with auto ISO, but the transition was too prominent. I understand how in most situations, a clicking aperture ring is preferred. So your suggestion of having a switch to change from a clicking aperture ring to clickless is a great idea.
Can you please do a Sigma 16mm comparison? It seems the Sigma is the best option for RUclipsrs but it would be really interesting to see the 3mm difference for talking head shots.
Love your work Mark...... Does anyone have an example of this lens vs the kit 16mm lens for vlogging applications? Im chasing a wider lens, but not really sure how much better this will be than the 16mm lens?
I bought the 23mm Viltrox f1.4. It is a great lens, As soon as they hit here, I will buy the 13mm as soon as it hits here in SEAsia. I have the 12mm Samyang, and probably will hang on to it until I get some time on the Viltrox. Good review. Cheers
There are many that use the viltrox adapter and go for the Nikon lenses on their Sony`s. A comparison with the AF-S DX Nikkor 12-24mm F/4 G ED or AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6G ED VR II review or on some of the the other great and affordable lenses from Nikon would be cool. Love your reviews!
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis I just ordered Viltrox 13mm f1.4, 23mm f1.4, 75mm f1.2 and Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 after I watched your video. Can’t wait to try them out on my a6700.🙌
Mark, as most have are already mentioned, I agree with how informative and entertaining your videos are. I laugh out loud often watching. I was hoping you could give me your opinion. I am as green as they come with using cameras. I have the zv-e10 with the kit lens and I am deciding on the right lens choice. I have made lens purchases based on your videos but now I am questioning those purchases after watching this video on the Viltrox 13mm. I want to vlog, make talking head videos for RUclips and take portraits. I purchased the Sony 11mm f1.8 for vlogging and the Sigma 16mm f1.4. My two questions 1) Do you think I could replace the 11mm and 16mm and get similar results with the Viltrox 13mm? I just purchased the other 2 lenses, so I could return them and save money as well as room in my camera bag 2) What do you suggest for portraits? The Viltrox 75mm f1.2?
The 13 could theoretically replace the 11 and 16, but personally I love having the 11 and 16. I use the 11 always for vlogging and the 16 always for the studio. I think you should keep them. And yes, the viltrox 75 is best for portraits I think or also the sigma 56 1.4 is a great option
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thanks, I appreciate you! Personally, I feel the same way. The 11mm being so small is a plus for vlogging and I feel like I will appreciate having separately lenses for the different type of shooting I will be doing. I am going to finish watching your reviews on the portrait lenses. I think the only lens I will still need to buy, is maybe a zoom lens for doing watch I believe is referred to as “run and gun”? Does that makes sense or could any of these other 4 lenses do the job.
OMG your humor! soo good man! 😂 question: would you recommend Sony ZV-E10 with this lens for indoor low light video shoots? (I'm using a softlight and some LEDs in the background for the ambience.)
Side note, would love to see ZV-E10 with Viltrox 13 vs Sony full frame with 20mm. Same filed of view, wonder about the overall image quality otherwise.

Hi Mark thank you for all the great reviews that you do, quick question for this video How far away was the camera away from you in your studio when filming this video?
Oh man, I watching yout videos more for you re show as for the technique😄.You re really a good entertainer. But wait for a minute please. I have a question for you. Is it possible that there are two versions of this objective? One without and one without a stabilizer and another one with a stabilisation? Thanks for your answer, if you have time enough for an answer. Greetings from Germany and thank you so much for your awesome personality. It's great that you are sharing your kind of humor with us. 😊👍
Thanks! 😃 There is one version of this lens. In fact, most lenses coming out today are not stabilized as companies are relying more and more on teh camera stabilization.
Thanks for the great review as always Mark. Now that I finally have my own ZV-E10 I don't use Catalyst Browse, works great but my computer just takes too long, so thank you for including the test with the ZV's Active Steadyshot.
up your shutter speed a little with active steady shot. it’s something I will mention in a future video, but the active steady shot does better with less motion blur. try 1/100 or 1/125
Mark, I just got in my little Zve10 this week paired with the sigma 16mm after following your channel and seeing how many others suggested it. I’m super new to film and photos, do you recommend VILTROX over the sigma for starters?
Keep your Sigma. it’s overall the best lens in my opinion for content creation. The Viltrox is great and a little wider, but you don’t always want an ultrawide.
Pretty sincere video it is. Thank you for giving all the pros and cons of the lens. It may shake the market of sigma 16mm i guess. I'd like to see a comparison between Sigma 16mm and Viltrox 13mm if you can. Thank you.
I think this 13 sits between the 11 and the 16 from Sigma. I can see a case for all three. but I would probably get the Sigma if I could only get one. it’s cheaper and more of a focal length I use.
The lack of weather sealing is my biggest "ugh" about my Sony ZV-E10. Living in Florida, especially in the rainy season... it makes using the camera a bit of a challenge. Have you seen any casing options to create some sort of protection? I hadn't really thought about it when I bought it... but now I think about it all the time. Continued thanks for a great channel!
Yeah - it’s raining here right now and I have worn to do - so I share the frustration!! Haven’t seen a case, but lots of people set up umbrellas and plastic bags when shooting in the rain. Right now is about the best we can do 😬
I’m thinking about getting the Sony 10-20mm zoom for daytime versatility (w/catalyst browse) and the Viltrox 13mm for night time (w/active stabilization). I’m trying not to bring a gimbal to save weight on our tandem bicycle. Crazy, or good idea?
Mark your videos are amazing and your personality is just awesome man! I bought the Sony ZV E10 body only + Sigma 16 1.4 for the review channel I am about to create, based on your reviews of this camera, and its a really great little combo... especially for the all in price i paid of $1069. Also i love how you try to respond to everyone who comments. Keep doing that - it is what makes you such a great channel to follow. I have no followers on RUclips but i have over 100,000 on Twitter, and I did the same up until the point where i was getting too many to respond to (before it was taking time away from content creation and planning). Happened around 40k followers... But I still try my best. You should try your best to keep up the responses also - I love that about your channel. Can't wait to see how far you go, Mark. Keep up the great work! Jonathan
I bought them both-sending the sigma back. Viltrox’s wider angle allows for flexibility to compose the shot. In my case, I shoot in 4k, load into a 1080p OBS canvas. Then resize/crop until the shot is perfect:) both lenses look great. In my webcam+ use-case, the viltrox has more flexibility, and, I’m happy to pay for that!
Two things: First: while there is plenty of good content on cameras and lenses and lights and etc...., your channel is where I go to first when I'm looking up info on specific items. You have that "thing" that makes you very engaging and entertaining. I even bought my first camera (ZV-E10 with a Sigma 18-50mm) largely because of your recommendations. Good stuff, my Canadian friend. I'm a professional musician who finds himself watching more camera videos than music production videos. ha ha Keep up the good work. I first dipped my toes into the RUclips Camera world back in March, and in that time it looks like your channel is exploding. Happy for you! Secondly: did you ever end up making a comparison video between the Viltrox 13mm f1.4 and the Sony 11mm? I searched for it but can't find it.
Looking forward to Viltrox coming up soon with awesome ZOOMs. I already have their primes from 11 fisheye, 13 (f1.4), 24, 35, 50, 85. @f1.8 for Nikon Z Full Frame Z5 and Z6. 👍
Just ordered mine today. I had a hard time deciding between the Fuji version for my X-T4 or the Sony version for my a7iv and ZV-E10 but I went with Sony since wide angle lenses do a much better job with the Sony IBIS in video compared to Fuji. Thanks for the video. Cheers.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Love your channel btw. Great mixture of an engaging personality and great content. I need to work on my personality on camera for sure.
Man., that new hair cut looks pretty damn good. Now I have to shaves and comb my hair too. I think I’ll stick with my Sony F2 for awhile since I’m not too concerned about sharpness and the awesome bokeh.
it depends on how wide you need your lens. I like the 16 for the studio, but this 13 for landscapes and vlogging. the link in my video description will show the price in your country. the Sigma 16 usually around $375 US
Hey, that looks awesome I finally pulled the trigger on the ZV-E10 now what would be the best lenses for food videos I use a Nikon right now and have a sigma 105 2.8 macro lens I guess I can not use that with an adapter to the E mount or can I? what's your recommendations champ what would you fit on doughy if you have your wife breathing down your neck to get good video shots for her channel?I was personally thinking of maybe the 50mm macro that should do the trick for close-ups in 120fps right? thanks
Man, I wish Viltrox would release lenses like this for full frame too. Then again, now that I can use my favorite vintage glass without a crop, I can't really complain :)
Hair cut Mark??! I really like the look of this lens. It seems a bit too... 'long' for my tastes (physically), but that makes sense given that it's f1.4 at 13mm!
yeah - same size basically as the sigma 16. but the large size let them keep barrel distortion, vignetting down while they kept it at 1.4. amazing really.
I love your videos so thanks for making them! I'm curious about your grading of this video. I'm assuming you used the Leeming LUT, but the grade beyond that? Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!
I did use the LeemingLUT on HLG, but I stuck another another LUT on top - kind of a greyish blue. It’s a free one from MLuT called Cold. I graded this one a little more than usual. Do you like it??
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis I'm a big fan of your color correction videos and try to emulate your style so critiquing your choices is intimidating! It seems a bit...washy on your face almost like you had the soft skin feature on. The light color seemed strong on your hair (nice cut btw), which may have added to it. Perhaps the intensity could be adjusted? Outside looks nice! Please take what I say with a grain of salt...I shouldn't be sharing my thoughts on the internet anyway. =)
@@EricFosterMedia Thanks for the feedback. I think I’ll tweak the colours more myself next time because I do think the LUT softened things up a little. I want add a little more or a look, but not overdo it.

Hey Mark, great review...now I'm even more confused as to what lens I should buy for my ZV E10....Thanks.... Also, what is the name of the song in the intro and what service did you get it from. I've been looking for it...but can't seem to find it (I know I need to look harder....)
Both very sharp and great. The Viltrox is wider, so better for vlogging and wide landscapes. The 16 is probably better for the studio and more "normal" looking photographs.
Thinking about getting the zv-e10 most of my work will be posted on ig I will be doing work for clients and my videos will be 30sec-3:00mins max so I don't see the point of spending the extra money on a more expensive camera whats your advice
Ir depends on your needs. if if you need an ultrawide for landscapes and vlogging than the 13 is probably better. for studio work (and less facial distortion) then the 16
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thanks! That sounds good. So, no software stabilization with Catalyst necessary... And nearly half the price of the Sony... Which also stabilizes only, when you choose the in-camera stabilization into standard with the ZV E 10...
Can it balance on zhiyun crane m3? Viltrox 13mm lens and the zv-e10? Please answer me i have this lens and the zv-e10 and i want to buy the lightest gimbal for vlogging
Hey man so I bought the Viltrox 13mm f1.4 for my Nikon 30 after watching your video (through your link) but when I mount it it doesn't pick up to record on Auto mode. Are there any particular settings I should change to vlog using this lens?
Thanks@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis is there a tutorial I can watch on how to do that? Very new to this camera and using lenses so still could not figure out how to make this lenses working so was going to return to Amazon but seeing your comment now. If you can help me with this as I like how the lenses looks and all your videos done using this lenses.
You can’t zoom with this lens. If you push the zoom rocker in the zv-e10, you will receive a message that the lens isn’t compatible with the feature. Only power zooms like the kit lens or the Sony 10-20 f4 can be controlled with the zoom rocker.
Looking forward to that comparison against the 11mm from Sony! I'd also love to see an Astro test, though that is obviously more involved :p maybe some shots at a night time camp fire would do ^^
I have this lens with the Sony ZV E10 however I’m experiencing some wobbly pulsing with either one or two people in the frame. How do I fix this? I like the F1.4 settings though for the bokeh lol… Hope I don’t need to sacrifice this
when you have a narrow depth of field like the 1.4 - only a small amount will be in focus. So unless the two people are standing with their eyes EXACTLY in the same focal plane (which is almost impossible) you are going to get the lens trying to jump back and forth between the two people. You can enable tracking on one person - and then it won't pulse, but the other person will be out of focus. The best thing to do is to keep the faces nest to each other and shoot at about f4. If the lens is pulsing with only one person in the frame - that there is likely not enough light for the lens to be able to focus properly or you do not have face and eye autofocus on.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thank you Mark! Indeed it doesn’t do that at F4 my lovely Bokeh is gone 😭 lol… Could adjusting the AF hunting speed help too?
The internal mic on the Sony will pick up the noise of the focus motors. If in very lowlight, or the camera is struggling to maintain focus, you will hear them, but in general use in decent lighting the motors are not noticeable on my copy.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis oh i guess there’s a problem with my copy then… coz the lens is making a lot of focussing noise 😒 not sure if viltrox will listen and replace it 😒
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thanks for the response and good point about the 13mm introducing vignette with movement. I just found a video from PhotoGearFun comparing 6 lenses on the ZV-E1 showing that happen. The vignetting would appear on the edges when vlogging in dynamic steady with the 13mm.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis yes, i know that, f8/9 onwards is always better for such shots, but i am looking for a suitable lens for night landscape captures or low light indoors with flat focus, and that what brought me here on viltrox video.. thanks a ton to you, you’ve compared and explained it very well. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I was skeptical until I got to test one out! It's just so good. How do they do it at this price point?!
They’ll be raising their prices soon if they keep producing quality like this.
Two things:
First: while there is plenty of good content on cameras and lenses and lights and etc...., your channel is where I go to first when I'm looking up info on specific items.
I searched for it but can't find it.
no - i dodn't - but Arthur R did one and Joe from film alliance - ruclips.net/video/77HAbjud-eY/видео.htmlsi=IHud_syWQuY3xBhA
Mark, I assume you always have to use an ND filter on an F1.4 lens when shooting outdoors, right? Or are you closing the aperture?
Looking forward to Viltrox coming up soon with awesome ZOOMs. I already have their primes from 11 fisheye, 13 (f1.4), 24, 35, 50, 85. @f1.8 for Nikon Z Full Frame Z5 and Z6. 👍
If they do - I am down for that!!
они все издают шум мотора павтофокуса или только 13 мм ?
Encantado con su revisión! Pero también me llamó la atención el excelente audio de su lavalier, ¿podría compartirnos cuál está utilizando?
Thanks. It’s the Hollyland Lark 150
I am looking for anounce in B&h and Amazon I can't found it I just want to see the price for Sony E Mount is only for Fuji no Sony yet.
Look at the link in my description- you can purchase from viltrox’s campaign
Just ordered mine today. I had a hard time deciding between the Fuji version for my X-T4 or the Sony version for my a7iv and ZV-E10 but I went with Sony since wide angle lenses do a much better job with the Sony IBIS in video compared to Fuji. Thanks for the video. Cheers.
It's great with the A7Iv andZV-E10 for sure
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Love your channel btw. Great mixture of an engaging personality and great content. I need to work on my personality on camera for sure.
Man., that new hair cut looks pretty damn good. Now I have to shaves and comb my hair too. I think I’ll stick with my Sony F2 for awhile since I’m not too concerned about sharpness and the awesome bokeh.
💇💇
Good timing on this one.
I boight a go pro 10 for a woder angle mainly cause i have no idea how to use my zve 10 lol. Love all your help ;)
GoPro is always useful
Mark, this is a great video, brev! What lense do you use for those creamy bokeh intro shots?
that is the Sony 85mm 1.8 from Sony. you have to back up a bit - but the results are the creamiest!!
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Salute, Mark!
Great review, what ND filter are you using outside for this 13mm 1.4? Thanks in advance!
Also, maybe you can share the Picture profile settings to get this amazing video footage at 0:37
I used the 67mm variable ND Nano from K and F. I used HLG3 with the leeminglut for the profile
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thank you! bought the lens because of your video
so sigma 16mm or this 13mm, which one to go for, whats the price of both
it depends on how wide you need your lens. I like the 16 for the studio, but this 13 for landscapes and vlogging. the link in my video description will show the price in your country. the Sigma 16 usually around $375 US
“Hold my apple juice” 😂😂❤
hi Bennett I wonder comparing to Sony 11mmF1.8 which I have . is this sharper thanks
they are both razor sharp. I can’t see any difference between them
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thanks Benneth for the quick reply .I think
I will buy the Viltrox
27mm F1.2 when its available.
Hey, that looks awesome I finally pulled the trigger on the ZV-E10 now what would be the best lenses for food videos I use a Nikon right now and have a sigma 105 2.8 macro lens I guess I can not use that with an adapter to the E mount or can I? what's your recommendations champ what would you fit on doughy if you have your wife breathing down your neck to get good video shots for her channel?I was personally thinking of maybe the 50mm macro that should do the trick for close-ups in 120fps right? thanks
I think you can get an adapter, but I haven’t tested any so I can’t give a recommendation. The 50 macro should do you well.
Mark, you think the Zhiyun M2S gimble could hold the zve10
with the Viltrox lens?
no - it’ll be too front heavy unfortunately
Must say, you look great on this lens.
Man, I wish Viltrox would release lenses like this for full frame too. Then again, now that I can use my favorite vintage glass without a crop, I can't really complain :)
works great on the full frame just in apsc crop mode
Hair cut Mark??! I really like the look of this lens. It seems a bit too... 'long' for my tastes (physically), but that makes sense given that it's f1.4 at 13mm!
yeah - same size basically as the sigma 16. but the large size let them keep barrel distortion, vignetting down while they kept it at 1.4. amazing really.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis It's pretty wild that it's so wide and so fast. A bit like me.
@@StephenMcLeod 🤣
Looks good! Have you tried using on a full frame Sony in crop mode?
Yes. works fantastically as you might expect. I’ll break out the A7iv when I compare this to the 11
Mark the way you you make these videos makes me feel like you deserve a spot after "This old House" on PBS 🔥
Or after Motor Week

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis 😂😂😂
...and a thoroughly entertaining and complete review. A great looking lens I don't see anyone else talking about.
@@EricFosterMedia Thanks for the feedback. I think I’ll tweak the colours more myself next time because I do think the LUT softened things up a little. I want add a little more or a look, but not overdo it.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis You’re the most informative and entertaining Sony oriented person on RUclips. Top notch stuff that has helped me tremendously!
Hey Mark, great review...now I'm even more confused as to what lens I should buy for my ZV E10....Thanks.... Also, what is the name of the song in the intro and what service did you get it from. I've been looking for it...but can't seem to find it (I know I need to look harder....)
It's from Artlist: Charger - Duffmusiq
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thanks...I have MotionArray and Epidemic Sound...MotionArray is part of Artlist, so maybe they'll have it...I'll find out!
Man, your facial expressions in intro was so funny :)))
🤣🤣
Hi Mark, thanks for this recommendation. What camera and lens did you use for this video between 00:00 and 00:17?
Would have been the zv-e10 and the Sony 85mm f1.8
Very nice!! Do you know when it comes to be selling for Nikon Z?
I believe it’s out now for preorder. My link should take you there - but I think the link is temporarily down. maybe we crashed the server 🤣
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Yeah! I tried but it is down! I'll wait and try again later. Thanks.
Hey have you peeped out the Viltrox 75mm 1.2 Pro?
testing it now
Have you tested it on ZV E1? I wonder how it looks like, vignetting etc. Thanks
Good question - I'll give it a check after I get back from travelling
New benchmark over the Sigma 16? Looks really good and the Sony AF makes any of the lenses work well. Winner, winner!
I think it rivals the sigma in many ways, but I would still take the sigma for studio stuff because I don’t need an ultrawide for that.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis For many other applications, it seems great!
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis which would you pick if you shot 90% photos and 10% video of kids/dogs/etc.? (Between the sigma 16 and this 13 viltrox)
Mark should i go for sigma or viltrox, help me out
both great. if vlogging - viltrox. Studio work - Sigma
I like it a lot. Kicks but on a z6ii in DX as well as on a zfc.
Taking the hood on and off also feels SO GOOD
You have done PHD in little duggy ZVE10 :) love from India
Sir, which one is better and sharper ? sigma 16mm or viltrox 13mm for Zve10
Both very sharp and great. The Viltrox is wider, so better for vlogging and wide landscapes. The 16 is probably better for the studio and more "normal" looking photographs.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thank you so much ❤️
Hey Mark the gorgeous, what mic are using?
Ouside - I am am using the Hollyand Lark 150 amzn.to/3unBOj4
Thinking about getting the zv-e10 most of my work will be posted on ig I will be doing work for clients and my videos will be 30sec-3:00mins max so I don't see the point of spending the extra money on a more expensive camera whats your advice
You can get amazing quality from the ZV-E10. no need to spend more.
Should i buy this instead of sigma 16mm?
Ir depends on your needs. if if you need an ultrawide for landscapes and vlogging than the 13 is probably better. for studio work (and less facial distortion) then the 16
Hi Mark, did you had the chance to test the lens on the ZV E 10 on the Zhiyun crane M3? Or would the lens be too heavy...?
it actually balances perfectly. so good to go on the m3 👍👍
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thanks! That sounds good. So, no software stabilization with Catalyst necessary... And nearly half the price of the Sony... Which also stabilizes only, when you choose the in-camera stabilization into standard with the ZV E 10...
Who is the best? Sigma 16 F1.4 or Viltrox 13mm f1.4 for Sony E ZV-E10? Answer plz!
They’re both great and pretty much the same quality. if you want the widest lens for vlogging, get the Viltrox.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thanks!
Hey Mark, what microphone are you using for this video?
Hollyland Lark 150. love it. amzn.to/3Ciceh9
Buying this thanks to you!
It's awesome
Can it balance on zhiyun crane m3? Viltrox 13mm lens and the zv-e10? Please answer me i have this lens and the zv-e10 and i want to buy the lightest gimbal for vlogging
Yes - the m3 balances with that setup. you may not want to use the lens cap or any heavy filters though
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thank you so much. Your the reason why I bought the zv-e10 any way.
Hi mark
Does this lens work well with crane m3
with the zv-e10 you can make it work, yes. but it’s at the extreme end of what you can put in the M3.
Hey man so I bought the Viltrox 13mm f1.4 for my Nikon 30 after watching your video (through your link) but when I mount it it doesn't pick up to record on Auto mode. Are there any particular settings I should change to vlog using this lens?
Make sure you update the Viltrox and the Nikon to latest firmware
Thanks@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis is there a tutorial I can watch on how to do that? Very new to this camera and using lenses so still could not figure out how to make this lenses working so was going to return to Amazon but seeing your comment now. If you can help me with this as I like how the lenses looks and all your videos done using this lenses.
When you got the lens for the zv-e10 and attached it. Did you have any issues trying to zoom or get any messages on the screen?
You can’t zoom with this lens. If you push the zoom rocker in the zv-e10, you will receive a message that the lens isn’t compatible with the feature. Only power zooms like the kit lens or the Sony 10-20 f4 can be controlled with the zoom rocker.
Looking forward to that comparison against the 11mm from Sony!
I'd also love to see an Astro test, though that is obviously more involved :p
maybe some shots at a night time camp fire would do ^^
I have this lens with the Sony ZV E10 however I’m experiencing some wobbly pulsing with either one or two people in the frame.
Please make comparison between samyang 12mm f2 vs sony 11mm f1. 4
I don't have the Samyang - but I'll try to get it in. I'm getting reports though of the Samyang not working well with the ZV-E10.
which one has better overall performance Viltrox 13mm or Sigma 16mm?
They’re both fantastic, but the sigma might have a slight edge
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thanks a lot.
I just got my viltrox 13mm for sony today... the autofocus motor makes quite some noise... is it true or is it just my copy of the lens?
The internal mic on the Sony will pick up the noise of the focus motors. If in very lowlight, or the camera is struggling to maintain focus, you will hear them, but in general use in decent lighting the motors are not noticeable on my copy.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis oh i guess there’s a problem with my copy then… coz the lens is making a lot of focussing noise 😒 not sure if viltrox will listen and replace it 😒

How is this 13mm f1.4 on the ZV-E1 with dynamic stabilization? How does it compare to the Viltrox 16mm f1.8 and Sony 16-35mm f2.8 GMII?
overall I would do the viltrox 16 with dynamic stab. The 13 could introduce vignette if you are moving too much and the 16-35 GM is very expensive!!
Does Viltrox has infinity focus for landscapes at 1.4?
yes, but you would want to be more around f9 for landscapes infinity generally
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis yes, i know that, f8/9 onwards is always better for such shots, but i am looking for a suitable lens for night landscape captures or low light indoors with flat focus, and that what brought me here on viltrox video.. thanks a ton to you, you’ve compared and explained it very well. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
It's so freaking sharp! and the Bokeh is so creamy.
It's soooo good.
WOW .I think this is universal lens .Something between Sony 11mm f1.8 and Sigma 16mm f1.4 .For daily use.Where is test with Sony 11mm ?
I have done a Sony 11 video as well and some others where the Viltrox is in there with the 11
