I remember when you did a video about similar ones to Intense Cafe and was bummed Atelier Cologne already discontinued Cafe Tuberosa. Luckily the last standing store in the States (NYC) had one and I picked it up recently! So thanks for the recommendation, it really is yummi! And Atelier Cologne will come back in 2-3 years after the rebranding. :)

BR540 was my signature in 2016-2017 but now I don’t care for it, just because it’s everywhere now , so the opposite story for me :)

Recently I purchased Montale Intense Café and I love it. It's really addictive and my husband loves it as well. So perhaps it will be gone faster than I want it to ;-) Thanks for your recommendation on this, it spreads joy and warmth

The only ones I don't know are Rosendo Mateu No. 5 and Charlatan; the rest I had the opportunity to sample and many of them I already own. I still haven't found anything from Frederic Malle that I really enjoy, but I do agree that they are good fragrances. I particularly like the fragrances from Atelier des Ors, Tiziana Terenzi, Nishane and MFK. Thank you for the video!
This is the closest list to perfume heaven that I've seen!!! I just haven't tried Noir the Noir, Rouge Saray , Fille in Aiguilles, Royal Oud and Benjoin Boheme. Agree on Ambra Calabria what a fantastic Dry Down and the performance is amazing! Great list Sebastian, thank you!!!

I completely endorse DHP at no1. I separate my designers from my niche perfumes but DHP sits amongst the niche. And for the price you can get it for in europe, its honestly a bargain!
I find TAUER-Au Coeur du Desert very similar to MEMO-African Leather. I did side by side compassions and for me AL was less dry and had a more effervescent opening that just worked.
I like green piney scents but SERGE LUTENS-Fille en Aiguilles for me comes across as beef stew, odd but true.
My top Five

2) A great winter summer combination
YSL-M7
YSL-M7 Fresh
Both are hard to find now but Parfums Vintage has good dupes that let me relive the legends

Sébastien, you led me to Psychédélique de Jovoy, which I adore. I have a 5 year old half bottle of Coromandel, Encens Suave de Matière Première and Saahra du FDB (i wear together: the first on my long hair and the second on clothes -superb for aromatherapy during a walk), also I wear a spray of amber aoud and musk aoud (Roja) for walks and people can smell me a block away. So many loves, many... beaucoup... muchìsimos!
I'm loving the line Unique'e luxury. And I love memo sintra. Those 2 are what I'm wearing and loving right now!

My top 5 favs are FM - Carnal Flower, Le Labo - Santal 33, Montale - Musk to Musk (this one is so underrated and I’ve never heard anyone talk about it!!), Initio - Absolute Aphrodesiac and Le Labo - Another 13.

So many on this list seem to give the same feeling as camel from zoologist - dried fruit, florals, amber, musk 😁.
To me your perfumes are all so beautifully unisex, I’ve only been researching perfume for about 6 weeks & I’ve read my way back through history to Emelia Erhardt using Clive Christian smelling salts for her flight. It’s fascinating to me. I started by collecting famous women’s scents, like Audrey Hepburn, the Queen & Lady Di which led me to RUclips niche reviews. My top 5 (I haven’t been able to work out an order yet) are;
- Portrait of a lady (never smelt anything like this!)
- Grand Soir
- Oud Satin Mood
- Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir
- Tom Ford Vanille Fatale (I find this slightly more gourmand than Tabacco Vanille)
- Maison Crivelli Bois Datchi
- Rouge Saray
I also surprisingly have found I like kind of dark, rich fruits, I find them very moorish to smell. Xerjoff Gourmands are blowing my mind also like Lira, Italica, Naxos I mean really that is amazing stuff. It also feels like travelling or sharing a moment with someone from the past. Interesting. I purchased Portrait of A Lady from the house of Frederic Malle after seeing your review a while ago. It truly is one of the best perfumes ever made. I purchased Une Rose in Paris back in 2018 and then POAL recently. The next three would be BR540 Extrait, Delina Exclusif and Royal Crown Oud Jasmin

Y have bought 5 bottles of Dior homme parfum! In Madrid you can get it for 60€ ! And yes, is amazing!
was surprised to not see ambre precieux on this list! (maitre parfumeur et gantier) - which one of your other videos turned me onto, and which has become my #1. also a bit surprised not to see bee (zoologist) on your list! psychedelique is for sure in my top 5, maybe even top 3. i think my top niche list goes like this:
1. ambre precieux (maitre parfumeur et gantier)
2. jubilation xxv (amouage)
3. akkad (lubin)
4. psychedelique (jovoy)
5. tobacco vanille (tom ford)
akkad is a relatively new discovery for me and with its sensuous, puffy, musky sweet amber, JUST edged out psychedelique from the top 3.
It will be on the Top 20 Niche! Or shall I say they will be! :)
I do have both DHP and DHI, and really love both. I would however not feature any of the two in my top 5, but probably one of them in a top 10.
My list in no particular order (as I really can't pick an order at this level of quality) :
- Ganymède - such a different fragrance from... pretty much everything else
- The Moon
- Enigma Parfum
- Naxos
- Sahraa - absolutely gorgeous, albeit expensive
So fun! We have similar taste in your list. I am obsessed with Sahraa… omg. I managed to get a full bottle at a 28% discount and am devouring every bit of it, more than any. Def my #1. I also just purchased a FB of Cavort after I drained my 8ml decant (FB @ 25% discount) and wow, wow, wow… Cavort is also a daytime fav now!!
Hi sebastian, nice to be here, I'm from Iran, always persue your great videos, I found Dior Homme parfum in a online shop, I wish I could buy it and send it to you.
Always shocked when people mention the saffron in BR540 as being subtle. To me it’s the 2nd most dominate note and I trace it from shortly after opening all the way through drydown. I wonder why I feel it’s so prominent and defining while more experienced noses don’t.

Ursa is a beast on my skin it projects a lot and fills the factory i work in and confuses people to where and who the smell is coming from 🤣 like i walked by somewhere earlier and they still getting whiffs of it later and I'm not around there

@@Ammarkhogeer I usually wear Oud Wood in the evenings - date nights, etc.. It's a strong scent, so performance is good. I would say it is 8+ hours, but I never wear it daytime.

The one fragrance I've got that everyone notices and always compliments - several times in one evening - is Amouage Overture Man. It is the most unique and strongest-projecting scent I own. I adore Herod, likely my next purchase (PdM Greenley is also wonderful). I've tried Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, but it smells rancid to me. Everyone experiences things differently.

Rosendo Mateu No 5 , is the most likable one. Always on high demand. It’s a kind of blend of flowers, amber & musc. Smells nice but not a beast mode.
I don't know why, but it's flowery part gives me headache, cannot tolerate the flowery opening, dry down is good.
