Honestly with fragrances of this sort I can dislike it for a period then all of a sudden I am fond of it. I tried it in the summer and for me the scent profile didn't work for the heat so I decided then to try it again when the weather cools.

Hey Owen! I've been hearing the same thing, but I haven't personally experienced any problems with it. You know that pack mentality exist in the frag comm. If one or two people hype something or take a s#!t on it, everyone jumps on that narrative. It is possible that it's been reformulated, and olfactory fatigue is also a very common problem that people don't take into consideration a lot of times. I'd at least get a decant & see how it works out for you. Happy Sunday bro

Hey Peter! I think you'll be happy with this! Sultan Vetiver is definitely good if you enjoy those woody Vetiver scents, but in my opinion this is a much more wearable scent 😉
For myself Ambra Calabria is great in the Fall 🍂 Admittedly I don't really enjoy the opening as a get a licorice scent that is off-putting. When the mid comes it off of my skin the scent is soap like clean, almost powdery. The dry-down is amazing. To my nose I get MFK's Aqua Celestia with a velvety Amber wafting through.

With that said, I obviously LOVE this scent, and have had NUMEROUS people check it out, & loved it enough to purchase bottles themselves. When in doubt, sample before you buy! Fragrance is very subjective!

The 2-6 is one of my hometown's nicknames. Fayetteville NC is known as "The Ville" (short for Fayetteville) "Fayettenam" & "The 2-6" because of Fort Bragg.
Fort Bragg & Pope Air Force base is one of the largest military installations in the U.S.
Back in the Vietnam era, Bragg was one of the primary hubs of soldiers rotating in and out of Nam. The 26th infantry was what it was called, so people around here started calling Fayetteville the 2-6 because of that. 🇺🇸😉

If you're talking about the bottle on the thumbnail or on the background of the video, it was the old cap.
The newer bottle caps are the same as the ones on Hacivat, Ani, etc

On fragrantica most of the feedback I read is rather average and people are overall disappointed in this fragrance
I personally don't go off of what other people say or think (especially on Fragrantica), I tend to go my own way. With that said, I obviously LOVE this scent, and have had NUMEROUS people check it out, & loved it enough to purchase bottles themselves.
