As I grew up, I progressively got used to my own voice more and more as I was getting older throughout most of my years through adolescence. From 2020 (which was 4 years ago) onwards, to me, I have established that my voice sounds amazing, and I don't have that past mindset to hold, or set, me back anymore
Perhaps you dont like the Way you speak bcs when i first started recording i hated listening to it but now through practice i changed the things that made me sound awful n now i actually quite like listening to my audios

He is telling them the truth that there is nothing wrong with their voice so they should learn to be more familiar comfortable with it and accept it. As for a camera/video being how you actually appear in front of others. That is not true. The camera distorts quite a bit. It is why people with very skinny faces are usually photogenic because the camera widens the face so they appear proportionate. Whereas people with wider faces will look like a full on block on a camera. Also photos dont capture the 3D aspect that a human eye can see. Thats why you need lighting etc when taking pics. The amount of my exes or current gfs/friends who outright say I look way better in person than on facetime is a good indication. Also, take a piece of paper and lay it on a table and then try to take a picture of it. You will notice the paper doesnt fully fit in the lens so you will see uneven amounts of table in the background as the paper is wider near the bottom and skinner at the top. If you want to see your true self. Get an inverse mirror. Or, get one mirror, hold it out to the side and aim it at the reflection of you in another mirror. Then look at that mirror out to the side.

I have a very high and small voice that makes people think I’m intentionally pitching to sound cutesy and feminine, some believe I wasn’t pretending but couldn’t help feeling annoyed by it. But for me to make my voice lower consciously would be me pretending not to be myself. So when I hear the recording of my voice, i stopped hating how it sounded now, but still remember the worries that the next person I meet would secretly wished I don’t talk just because of my voice. No one hated my voice as much as I do and many times growing up, I prayed for a lower voice. But I’m working on being more comfortable with my voice now, it’s not worth changing yourself for people who hurt you for being who you are.

The mirror and photo example is wrong. How you look in photos is NOT how you look in real life. Your phone changes the shape of your face. How you look in the mirror is how you look in real life.
That's wrong. The mirror we use is generally a plane mirror, which turns right to left and left to right so you see your face the other way around. How you look in photos is exactly the way you look irl (NOT SELFIES). Go study some physics or something

It still doesnt affect your face nearly as much as a camera does. If you are attractive in a mirror, but ugly on cameras, that just means cameras dont capture your face well.

Listening to my own voice is the number 1 reason why I don't do content often since I don't want to edit it and have to hear it 100s of times over.
