Those chairs would have been a THOUSAND times better had he use old leather (which you can easily source scraps of and patch together), and used an ACTUALLY old shopping cart whose metal is distressed. The one he used is either new, or he used something to restore it. The whole beauty of restoration is seeing that the new object had an old life.
They make biodegradable grocery bags btw and the FACT you can’t recycle the common grocery bags is it not suitable to reuse the bags? Another terrible call from Peter. Fifteen years ago I bought a simple wire-frame version of the bin. Ten years ago one-use plastic bags were banned from stores in my state "except for...". I'm still using my frame, and putting about three bags a week on it.

I usually use reusable shopping bags in my kitchen for glass, paper and drinks containers with deposit. If such a thing came fitted with, say, a washable cloth bag, I would pick up two or three of them immediately. Much nicer than my solution.
