so trim off part of the third tooth, problem solved. This is why when you replace your gears from one supplier you should get your piston from the same supplier. Valken has been using SHS for quite a while., I personally own one of their metal alloy series guns and have not had a failure in this area yet due to the fact that they use the same gears and pistons from the same supplier. That is also why, often, when you buy a sector gear nowadays the piston comes with it. make sense?
Wow . Its 2020 . I just installed a 14tooth shs in a dsg and sure as shit. The teeth dont line up. I remembered this video as soon as i ssen the problem. I would have never believed that 6 years later the problem still exists.

Is the shs piston problem solved? I was going to purchase one from umbrella armory and dont want it to not work
I doubt umbrealla would let this slip past, plus this video is over 5 years old now so I bet it's long fixed
It is fixed this is when shs was gen 1
Now they are gen 3 and 4. And I only use shs parts in my builds so I know it works!
I just received a 14 tooth, and I have this issue. I cant use this piston
umbrella use the 15 teeth piston and the dremel the 2nd tooth
