@@randanman If western nations would lose power grid and then internet for a long time, gaming would be Farked without LAN mode, offline and self hosting servers
Awesome Video! Since most of my friends use their computers for work and productivity these days, I've built 5 quad core machines with 9800 GT's from spare parts and ebay auctions so we can play older games on a LAN. It's so nice when a game has dedicated server software and tons of community maps and mods, and not so nice with crazy DRM that ruins the experience 10 years (or more) later. The steam cache is a great idea, I'll have to add that to my fileserver! Hope to see more videos like this!
We recently made new systems for when people want to come over and not BYOC. If you haven't yet check out that build: ruclips.net/video/PNO_nVA3Tkc/видео.html
On your game server. If you have 2 different game servers running on the server don't you need more then one ip assigned to the server for both game servers? How is yours setup?
a video about how to set up a local steam / origin cashing server would be sweet, also a video on how to setup a PFsense router for a lan of 20 to 50 people
The steamcache video is the one suggested at the end of the video, you can also find it in the description. We'll do a setup video for PFsense / Windows server in detail it looks like with all the positive comments. Appreciate the sub!
Is it possible to have an OBS video about NDI and usage of Mobile Phone usage within OBS? You refer to a video about it but there is no link in description or in the video itself?
I have a Cisco UCS C220 M3 I run a few servers what are the follwoing; - Linux Turkey for Mine OS which run currently 3 different types of minecraft servers - Ubuntu Server for websites -Some OS for studying such as Kali linux I am hoping to do more with it like game caching for all the different launchers, firewall stuff(For my university project). I do want to break out to more stuff but I don't have the space or the money for the electric bill and another server atm
*Lan Parties were the greatest fun i ever had* they used to be awesome.... Now they are filled with people screaming and everyone playing music over one another .... be chill and enjoy some games, its not hard.
I can't tell if this is actually from may 2018 with super old hardware or its older than that and just uploaded later. Even some of the people on the lan clips have dells from 2008
19:38 - Games need to move away from online only, season pass, dlc , micro payments and back to the old fun of offline LAN pure fun
That and the many mods that were part of the LAN community, alot of creativity behind it all.

I love how your videos look like they're from 2008 - 2010 🤭
I wonder if coding a server patch bot for steam CMD to update / validate servers could be helpful?
Excellent video SD LAN! I'm really interested in recreating your football sized LAN box. Could that be a new video? :)

Do a search on our channel for NDI and you'll find it.

Hi I need some help to build a Game server diagram, it should be better if you post a diagram of those servers you are talking about.

Link for videos plx
That's so dope
Please write your name or company name/phone number on the gear
and go buy 5 buck spray can and go paint that portable rack case
This is amateur stuff, what you really need is a server grade network card in everyone's PC so they can make a fully connected network.
bruh
NO Dislikes!! :)
