I'm starting a new glue book creating a collage collection with French ephemera. I'm using vintage French papers such as postcards, book pages, and postage stamps, and then adding some colorful images of vintage French furniture to create a collection of collages.
I start with a huge poster of images of vintage French furniture that I cut down into small pieces. I want to use an individual piece in each collage. In addition to that, I pull out my stack of vintage postcards that I acquired in Antibes, France, when I visited a few years ago.
This is just the beginning of my art journaling adventure in this glue book! I've got so many blank pages left, so I'll have lots of opportunities to come up with some new ideas to continue.
The poster came from Cavallini Press. Some art stores or book stores carry a selection of their posters.

Bonjour Margarete 😘...such a lovely way to use our million of french papers, stamps and so on... 😀
Love your pages of furnitures ... They make great focal points. I think I will try a french collaging journal but "mobile" ring bound or bound with my Cinch... 😉 Have a great crafty sunday

This is unrelated I think, but I clip out images of furniture and home decor that I like, and I have a binder with sheet protectors in it, and I put them into sheet protectors by room. Supposed to be my Dream House. So the first pages are the front yard and front door, then living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, laundry room etc. Extra pages for holiday decorations like dining table set for Christmas. Trouble s I really don't get any magazines.
I had a binder I was working on but I misplaced it and had to start a new one.
I have a dollhouse and like mini chairs for some reason. There are so many different kinds of chairs.

It's a neat idea if you'd create a gluebook make with those pieces of furniture you cut out. That would be so cool! 👍🏼

It came from Daiso, which is a discount retailer here in California. I'm not sure if they have an online store. If you can't find something similar, you can always make something, using hinges to connect the pages. 💜
