    For the Shrimp
    1/2 lb. shrimp, peeled & deveined 1 Tbs. rice wine1 tsp. Pear River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce amzn.to/1Qt0XZo
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    For the Sauce
    1 tsp. Pearl River Bridge Mushroom Flavored Superior Dark Soy Sauce amzn.to/1Qt10nV
    1 Tbs. Pear River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce amzn.to/1Qt0XZo
    1 tsp. chili in oil (Lao Gan Ma), optional amzn.to/20yk2jn
    ¼ tsp. sugar
    1 Tbs. rice wine
    2 Tbs. water
    2 Tbs. cooking oil, divided
    ½ Tbs. chopped ginger
    1 Tbs. chopped garlic
    1 red chili or ¼ of red bell pepper, seeded and julienne
    3 oz. shiitake mushrooms, sliced
    10 oz. chow fun noodles (fresh wide rice noodles)
    3 to 4 green onion, cut in halves lengthwise & cut into 2-inches long pieces
    4 oz. bean sprouts
    1 tsp. sesame oil & seeds for garnish

      My grocery store, redners, carries a "Korean BBQ" flavor tofu. It is my new best friend. I am not vegetarian but my daughter is so I cook what she wants mostly. I am now a huge fan of tofu thanks to this product

    I hate fish, but Chow Fun is my favorite food on the planet. Growing up in Brooklyn NY, I had some great Chinese spots that had some great Chicken or Beef Chow Fun. So yummy.

    is Chinese dark and light soy sauce way different from Thai light and dark? for thai cooking i use the butterfly brand light and black sauce and they even make the sweet dark one

    Very good recipe. The only thing, I wouldn’t take another chance with that already cooked noodles. Got them but they were all stuck together and wouldn’t separate, rather broke into pieces. Had to throw them out and start over with dry noodles which you cook like pasta. Came out really good. Thank you!

    Did this recipe tonite, delicious, but for some reason, I feel I'll never be able to achieve the taste of the Chow Fun I have enjoyed so much in my youth at Tin Tin's in the Vietnamese district of Marx Dormoy in Paris, I will keep on trying various recipes until I get it !

    Don't get me wrong the food looks amazing but god damn tone it down a bit with the too happy expressions. Also when you're cutting the food make sure to look at the food before you cut yourself. Just saying.

    I just cook this. it's very delish I subtitute the green onion to shallot. I don't like the long green onion the first time I made this. And, this time I add on some bokchoy and it's so good.

    I have watched so many of your videos in just 24 hours that I feel like an expert on cooking Asian cuisine. I even went to the store today and bought spring roll wrappers and sesame oil! I could eat Asian food every day and I'm glad I came across your channel so now I can really experiment with my cooking, especially because Asian food seems the most vegan-friendly so I can cook things that both me and my vegan boyfriend can enjoy.     Weird question: my Asian market has those blue dragon plates I saw you use. I really want them, but I'm not sure if they're dishwasher safe. Could you inform me if they are dishwasher and microwave safe?

    I never found that brand in the Asian store so I ended buying a something similar with the mushroom flavor and the other Soy souce too, I hope the flavor still the same. I can't wait to eat this plate.. Look so good

    one last question, do you use low heat when you put the noodle in? Mine taste kind of mushy, or did you only cooked the noodle for a couple of minutes?

    I am Chinese( raise and born in China) and I do use this brand's light soy sauce. They tastes much better than those from US grocery store, and I eat sushi with them too :)

    when you marinate the shrimp, you dont recommend adding corn starch like you marinate meat?
