Thanks Sifu, really helpful. Remind me my quad fell into the sawah padi totally covered in mud. I did unplug the lipo underwater; washed sprayed contact cleaner; dissembled and dried everything. All work and fly fine except VTX intermittent interruption .
Both Analog and digital. Yg jatuh tu analog, ; agreed need to change vtx, may be later swap with vista. I saw you footage at Pandamaran sport area, I previously stayed at Port Garden (Kg Raja Uda) just opposite sport centre. but after PKP returned to my hometown in Penang
@@captmohmadabdullah2577 ya bro i totalled a drone cuz i fly vtx after water damage and it just died after arming 🙂↕️ Yeah pandamaran sport area best for flying cuz alot space. Hope penang u found some nice spot for fly bro
Great video! Something else to be aware of, the contaminants left from water can cause corrosion to start but not cause issues right away and can kill a component randomly several months later even though it was working fine after the plung and drying, this is actually why you want to use the IPA to actually clean the electronics, removing camera housing and all that, don't just thoroughly dry everything, hope fir the best, then try flying it... It might seem fine, but could suddenly drop out of the sky 6 months later on someone hurting them... I had one that spent months in a tree before a storm finally knocked it out, everything worked fine for months, then it finally died mid flight, upon inspection corrosion slowly built up under the components, just took time for a problem to develop, washing down with IPA seems to help that, i also use vip camp dry occasionally on my electronics, the silicone coating helps replel any rain drops i might fly though and its easy to just give everything a spritz occasionally the night before flying
thanks for sharing. I've experienced similarly with some electronics being fine momentarily. I'm curious to know more about cip camp dry, whats you're experience been like? like does the solution harden and have to be cleaned occasionally and all that?
fun fact it's actually impossible to bring any battery down to zero volts as volts is just the difference in potential, and the chemicals will always have some potential between them.
There is no point in destroying the battery if it wasn't overly discharged while underwater. They are a sealed which makes them pretty much waterproof.
very helpful. Just here to point out that in 5:04 it’s the small resistor to measure current.
Thanks for the correction!

Damn bro better replace new vtx. I also had the same scenario and totalled the drone because of vtx failure.. you flying analog ker?

thats true, i always see one or two cells that stay at 1.xx volts. While the others might be low but not zero
Great information

the tabs can corrode super fast in salt water. Just 5 minutes in salt water is enought to ruin any battery.
Mantap bro salam kenal salam satu pilot 👍✌️
Thanks bro. Apa khabar, nk main fpv pun ker? 😎
fuck yeah dude
✌️
Change your bearings.
