hi all! today's video is a compilation of my first 4 port countries (Poland, Portugal, Spain, & Croatia) with Semester at Sea. I explained how the whole on land travel works, field programs/classes, how the ship is ALWAYS home, and all the good stuff. I did SAS almost 10 years ago in 2010 (back when it was on the MV Explorer) as a neuroscience major in college! Your move-in vlog popped up on my recommended page and I've been reliving the SAS life through your videos. My voyage went to Croatia and Morocco too, two of my favorite countries! Can't wait to get back on the ship someday as a lifelong learner, but in the meantime living vicariously through some vlogs. :)

Can you talk about how much you spend in a week (not overall fee, I know you've covered that)? For port weeks AND ship weeks. Since seeing your vids its kinda become a dream to do this but I don't know how much it costs yk

Unpasteurized dairy can put you at risk for disease, according to the CDC. Most dairy products these days like milk, eggs, butter, and cheese are pasteurized, but it doesn't hurt to double check with the onboard crew

When you're from Europe it's kinda confusing HOW MUCH you're travelling like: One day you're in Portugal next thing you know she stands on top of a mountain in Spain. Literally 2 seconds later she's in Croatia like what?!?!?! Seems to me like they're spending most of their time on trains/busses
Holy Guacamoly the trips aren’t as close together as it seems in the video. She just put them all together in one! In between she’s on the ship and doing school stuff
The total voyage is about 110 days and about half of that you spend in port, half at sea. Some ports are very close, overnight from each other, most are 3-5 days between, a few are longer.

An entire year of college in Portugal is less than 1000 euros total so yhea.. it's kinda expensive

I live in the north of Portugal, I know Sintra is more southern but when she said ‘we are in Spain’ right after saying ‘we are in Sintra’
