Watch the video carefully again around starting 7:45 seconds, it goes into the wiring. The positive isn’t spliced in the back how you think. It runs through the RCA. Then you just ground the camera in the back. This eliminates having to run multiple wires.
@@LionTechX Interesting; I really thought you had to connect to the rear tail light wire to get power when it went into reverse. But it seems you've connected to switched aux power from the head unit and the display knows when to come on due to the wiring harness. This will save me the headache of splicing into the rear tail light reverse wire and also will allow me to use the reverse camera even when I'm not in reverse. Thanks a bunch for this video !

How did you get power to the camera? You showed the battery and harness but didn't show which wire you spliced.

You doing to much all you really need is to replace the backup camera which is literally plug and play. Took about 15 minutes.
