This is exactly what I needed today, shoulder pain from too much sewing for the holidays. Great to meet Mike's Dad- your son is a terrific addition to this show and much appreciated!
I rode a mechanical bull for the first time yesterday and the left side of my neck is in pain- I'm thinking it's a one sided whip lash. I'm glad you're still here on RUclips Brad and Bob!!
Yesssss 🎉 I’m so thankful for Mike stepping up to keep us educated w these videos. He and Brad have a great flow together too. And I know Bob is thinking of jokes to throw at them during the vids…Why Bob?! 😂
Always good, helpful advice. Thank you. I wish there was a better way to remember these exercises, than depending on my brain. Please consider creating some downloads to help. BTW, I nearly always sleep on my left, arguably the most healthy way to sleep, using the pillow under the chest method I learned from you years ago. It has saved me a lot of pain. Thanks!
This condition is very common among women especially and can be very difficult to manage. In 2013, I lost my job, which then caused all sorts of other problems for me. I was unable to work due to the extreme pain, lack of sleep, severe depression, and lack of mobility. I went to several physiotherapy clinics and tried many different treatments; osteopathy, laser, pool therapy, general physiotherapy etc. The one that worked the best was manual therapy, which I believe is also called myofascial release. I was able to regain mobility in my shoulders and the pain became manageable. It is easy for someone to recommend exercise but unless the person is used to it, they won't do it. Exercise has always been a challenge for me. I think I am exercise-avoidant due to the fear of pain. If I get any kind of other pain, I immediately become very stressed and anxious. I think it is valuable to remember that alcohol does not have any medical application because it is carcinogenic, like cigarettes. Thank you for the great videos you share with us to help maximize good health and well-being as we age.
There is no way I could do any of those exercises. I cannot bring my right arm back to my back pocket and when I cross my arm across my body at all in the front, it feels like a ligament is popping across or out of place (above my bicep and below shoulder).
What exercise is good for pain below the shoulder blade and next to the rear of the arm bone? I can put my fingers in that spot and feel a pencil thick (tendon?) and the location of my pain?

Myofacial release technique was critical for me at one point. Can’t totally stretch and exercise etc if the fascia has adhesions! ✝️🙏
@@smilesmile7330Same here. Having adhesions sucks.
@@dogie8c have you found a massage therapist who specializes in myofacial release?

@@bonnieodonnell2780 might need massage first for a few months. Talk to your therapist or doctor.
