Hi can u help please my roof comes up fine but doesn’t go all the way down sits up a little and says roof operation not complete ? Help please thanks in advance
I have the exact same problem when putting the soft top up. the glass and top cover will nod go down and finish the operation. I am hunting down a limit switch problem. Not sure if that will fix it, but seems logical
Check out the the alignment of the front locks (where the softtop attaches to the windshield). Mine were slightly off and not hitting the little switch inside them. Good luck
When I bought my convertible my top did not work. I was told it was the motor, but when I had it checked out it turned out to be that the hydraulic fluid was completely dry. Whoever worked on it before I bought it forgot to put the fluid back in.
i have the same problem with my cabrio tooo whats the peoblem but i smashed my front wheel and i have the replacement wheel on it plaese let me know if i have to check other things thanks
Hi sir, I got problems with the rear screen rubber seal, do you know where I can order those rubber. And also do you know how to remove the canopy as i need to send it to the tailor to stitch the canvas as the joint are coming off. Thanks
Julia Sanchez if you are referring to the rubber around the glass curling. I rubbed a very small amount of atf into it and put a thin flat piece of metal behind it to shim it out overnight. This kind of softened up the rubber and allowed it to lay flat. That rubber is part of the window it's self and around $800. I had the top done professionally so can't help with the other. Good luck

Start with checking your micro switches there are two in the front were the roof locks and four in the boot these only operate when its safe for the roof to do so I used a fault reader star the Mercedes reader and diagnosed that my front left micro switch was at fault and prevented the roof opening after the boot was opened and windows were down

Yes the front driver's side latch was slightly miss aligned so that it wasn't allowing the top to move to the next part of the sequence.

Most likely a blown fuse or hydraulic fluid is empty. Had the same problem with mine

Look at the switches in the trunk. Make sure they are aligning. It’s a safety feature so it doesn’t break anything trying to fold in.
