In this video I have my clk 230 convertible 2002 and I am re making a video which I posted a long time ago but did not cover the part where the pressure on the pump needs to be released so you can open and close the roof manually, in this video I cover that.

@@zoranzoki6286 did you watch the video ? If you have and you follow all the procedures then you may have a different problem with your roof as I explained the procedure in the video. No point me typing the whole thing. If it’s stuck for another reason then you may need to take it to an specialist to see why you can’t close it.. regards.

Hi, thanks for your video, very useful. Unfortunately I have not watched your video before opening the roof manually. I have not released the pressure and now it is impossible to push the roof up. You said in your video that you experienced the same situation once, how did you solve the problem ? Thanks for your help.
If you can access the boot area, you will be able to find the pressure release valve. It will be a bit of a fiddle but you should be able to access it through the carpet hole and a long flat head open the valve.
When I use the flat head screwdriver and twist, no pressure is released if I turn it either way, what should I do?
To be honest am not sure, if the pressure is not released then may be there is mechanical problem or a blockage.
