I think all your followers wondered about what might be happening in your lives. It is so kind of you to share what has been such a difficult experience for each of your family members but especially for your eldest daughter. I have a family member in somewhat similar circumstances. I think awareness of what is the best way to have a good experience with a family pet has increased exponentially over my 70+ years on the planet but there are some who still lack that understanding. I have never believed people who abuse animals should be allowed to have them. The laws protecting animals are better now but it has taken a very long time to get to this point. I’m VERY HAPPY for your family that you will have a permanent home after twenty years in service. It will be a different life but thank you to your entire family for enduring with the demands of military life. I also have a family member in the military and the separation isn’t easy. You are spot on, gardening is about joy. It is about learning, sharing knowledge with our fellow gardeners. The wonder of being outdoors in all weathers 😊. So glad to have this video. Looking forward to future adventures in the garden with your family. 😊

An AMAZING journey is ahead of you❤ Thank you for all your magical videos! Maybe put some of you plants, Roses, flowers on an EBay auction. The plants will go to wonderful homes;) You both have taken such great love and care of your plants and many people totally appreciate your vast knowledge. Owning one of your “Green Babies” would be an honor! A win, win…then viewers can see what new treasures you grow in Texas 🥰 and…you will have a nice secure nest egg to make that happen AND it would be fair for all the viewers. Downside, besides letting all those lovely green gems go and taking the time to ship. If you do go the auction route, for shipping you can list a time. For example two weeks. I’m hoping for an auction! Please think about it🌹

Thanks for your content. And, for serving our country. I lost my husband to the Viet Nam war.
I'm retired from church planting, counseling and teaching. If you need a shoulder...I will make myself available to your family.
Thank you God bless you and help you with your move and transition. I am always looking for affordable ways to regain all that which I have lost. Almost all of my gardening implements were stolen out of storage. I moved (retired) to Appalachia in 2018. I am handicapped so I can't dig in my rural, rocky yard. I prayed years ago...that if or when you moved...if you can't take everything with you...that you would consider me as a plant parent.
I would love to adopt what you choose to make available. I understand all what you are saying. I used to have extensive gardens and grow food and flowers as part of ministry. I lost the gardens that GOD allowed me to plant from scratch . Built over twenty years... all lost in 2008. I moved back to VA to take care of my mother in here final years before moving to heaven.
I miss gardening!!! I'm very rural. Please let me know what if anything, I can do for you. And when, where etc. to purchase some of the plants you won't be taking. Thanks.
I am praying for your sweet family. Your garden-loving friend. Darla
    EDIT***
I do wonder why you never responded back with even a hello.

I am so sorry this happened to you! I pray that these people were reported and that the poor dog was rescued. If you ever find yourself in that situation again please report the situation immediately. You do not deserve to have to endure living in those conditions. I pray your time left there is peaceful. I don't know how gardening in Texas will be. I live in Florida for 8 years and I detested gardening there. I now live in the Midwest and love gardening here. Where ever you live wish you well!

Well, I'm so sorry for what you went through, but I'm so glad you made it through and it sounds like you're stronger for it!
I'm so excited that you're coming to Texas! I have lived in various areas of Texas my whole life! Now I live in East Texas (Marshall) and I have to say it is the most green/lush area that I've ever lived in. It's zone 8; I love it because it gets cool enough for plants that need some dormancy, but still has a long warm season! There's plenty of space around here. Some good University's too! ETBU and LeTourneau are big in this area, TSTC and Wiley as well. I also love my church community here!
I'm praying for you and your family during this time! Hope everything goes smoothly during the decision making process and the actual move!

Hi!!! I actually remember the neighbor and dog thing from a few years ago. I remember thinking how hard the toxicity of the neighbor being hard for all of you, but I think I personally worried the most for Angelina. I also remember praying. God knows what He's doing, but I am so you had to go through that. But hey! Life continues on in the most wonderful of ways. Texas huh? My son and family were stationed in Dan Antonio the last 4 years of his ARMY career. They loved it. My brother and his family enjoyed the Dallas area. You'll be living where you can garden to your hearts content, and it will be glorious

I came across your channel yesterday after buying some bare root DA roses. I love cottage/English gardens and yours is beautiful. ❤ I don’t have much space with good sun exposure, but I still try to grow roses. I have one DA climber (Wollerton Old Hall) and I look forward to the bloom every year. After watching a couple of your videos, I am wracking my brain to see where I can fit a Gertrude Jekyll in my garden. 🤣 Thanks for the growing and maintenance tips, especially for container gardening. Good luck with your move and I hope you have better neighbors in your new home (I am so sad for those poor dogs that are still stuck with those people 😡). Look forward to seeing how your plants do with the move (I killed my thriving Pat Austin last year trying to move it back a little and I am still devastated) and what you do with your new garden. In the meantime, I have all of your previous videos to watch and enjoy. :)

I was so emotional and angry. My garden was my one joy in life. If someone knows your weakness they attact with that..I'm so sorry you had such a chunk of your life. Its not fair or morally right.Blessings for a future of calm and blooms.

I was raised and lived in Fort Worth for years but now I live in the Houston area. I am excited to see if you can grow hydrangea because I have decided to give up on them. It is to hot and the droughts keep coming. I live in zone 9 and we have a very long hot and more hot growing season with water restrictions. But I still love it. We lost our dear sweet neighbor a number of years ago and we've had 2 "pit" masters since. And I don't mean BBQ. Think dead tree dropping limbs over their yard, our yard, the other neighbor's yard. Then dog abuse, like you described. Not mowing their lawn much less doing any improvement. A privacy fence doesn't solve all the problems. With all of that plus my own aging and ill health, my vast flower borders have dribbled away to nothing. It's hurtful. Bless you and the kiddos. So looking forward to you finding your civilian hone and giving us both some new experiences.

Hugs to you and the family! My sister has a neighbor exactly like this. The crazy thing is this neighbor has been after every single person on their street! The whole street has been traumatized! Beating dogs, beating their children, spraying chemicals over the fence accusing my BIL of sexual harassment, even shooting out windows on cars. It’s crazy! The cops have been called multiple times and still it continues. It’s been ten years maybe more. I feel for you guys! We’ve been praying for these people to leave the neighborhood for years. I so relate to your experience ,as I had to deal with it for 20 years and the beautiful garden I had created from the original barren back yard was no longer a safe space for me due to the constant and very petty harassment. Thankfully, they finally moved two years ago and as you mentioned the negative vibration in the air lifted and I was once again inspired to continue creating the beautiful garden that I had envisioned in my now peaceful space. Thank you so much for sharing as I always wondered was I the only person having this very negative experience with a neighbor.

Happy you no longer have to deal with such awful people. It is something unbelievable to think how negativity coming from someone affects others. I was in disbelief my self thought I was going crazy! That no one else could have it happening to them. A lot of people keep it to themselves they don’t want to be judged wrongly. But I think if one doesn’t speak out then those bad people get stronger and easier for them to continue to abuse of others. We feel the same way the air feels a lot more lighter happier! Big hugs going your way! Hope you are back enjoying your garden. 🤗🙏💐💚💚💚💚💚💚

I hope your daughter and all your kids look forward to happier good times ahead! God bless your family always.

I’m so sorry you have horrible neighbors I purchased a new home in 2019 I had the same thing happen to us. We found out we had horrible neighbors we tried to sell our home beginning of this spring but could not find anything with privacy and a large lot. It’s been a nightmare we may try to sell next year. My garden and house projects have stopped. We have a son 12 who has suffered too bevause of this. I hope your new home has the peace and privacy you need. 🙏🏽

what an exciting and a bit stressful time for you both... i'm so sorry you had to deal with the situations you've had; it's a life lesson for sure though... i'm in socal, so zone 10b (altho i grew up just south of san antonio).. i try just about everything i see in my nursery and occasionally order some online (that gets expensive!).. for instance: heucheras... if you have an area that will get bright light but is mostly shade (or only morning sun), i think you'll be able to grow them.. they do fine for me in the shade but will turn very "crispy" in the sun (and they come back every year, lol)... not sure their cold tolerance but i know they come back in areas like zone 5, so i'd say go for it... and don't forget about succulents: most people associate those with xeriscape or desert type areas, but you'd be surprise how much color they can provide; they are easy to take care of so you can focus on those other areas that will require more attention, and they have beautiful blooms... i wish you a happy move, exciting times, and safe travels!! can't wait to see your new place; take all the time you need.. we fans will still be here!! 🥰🥰🥰

Please share more of the garden & pruning videos. If it wasn’t for your channel I never would had the courage to try container gardening. I love it! Thank you❤

First and most impotantly, Thank you for your service. Your channel and containers inspired me to get my little yard going her in Denver. I have 21 containers around the perimeter of my yard I have planted annuals, shrubs, perennials and I copied your north pole arborvitaes in containers. I'm looking forward to see your next garden in Texas. The hellebores next to Angie are gorgeous. I definitely want to add them to my garden this year.

So sorry you guys went through what you had to go through. It can affect your life and health and mental well being dealing with people like your neighbor. Looking forward to following you again when you start up in Texas with a new way of gardening. I moved from MA to CA (zone 10 from a zone 6) and it has been hard for me to learn a new way of gardening. Sounds like I will be able to learn again from you two. Best of luck, hope the moves goes smoothly.
