Jenny - this was such a lovely video. I felt like I was sitting beside you both, listening to a couple of girlfriends chat. Long time fan of Laura and new fan of your channel. Fangirl from Australia 🇦🇺🌻
Have loved the entire series of the visit but was especially looking forward to the ones with just you and Laura. Both of you bring such joy! And yes, Laura and family need to come here to North Carolina. BTW, Red Tip Photinias used to be big in NC back in the 80s but I don't see them much these days.
You can't imagine how happy it makes me to see my two favorite gardening ladies sitting together and talking plants...it's wonderful to see this friendship blossoming and the promise of Laura and Aaron going to visit Jenny and Jerry at Creekside in the future....it was a wonderful way to start my day...thank you
Laura and Jenny …. What a wonderful start to my day. Can’t stop smiling . Thank you both for all you do. Learned so much from the both you. You have to do more episodes together.
Jenny....I agree. When you talked about the kids growing, you said the days are long but the time is short. Great to hear you both chatting. You are both kindred spirits.
Awesome video!! Enjoyed every moment of the back and forth conversation. I always follow both of you and look forward to watching your videos daily. Thanks so much to both of you for sharing your knowledge.
Laura, you will love Biltmore. There is so much you will love. Olmstead at his best! I have made a point to visit gardens all four seasons and have never been disappointed . I know there will be a side trip to Creekside on our next trip. Hope there is some Unique Stone urns available.
I am from central NY. and we get snow. When I was in the Marine Corps stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. for 3 years we got a couple inches of snow and I did laugh. There was a pickup truck with 2 guys in the bed with shovels salting the main drag of the city. This is just what I've been waiting for, too bad the guys didn't mic up. You were talking of married 15 - 20 yrs. Ann and I have been married 36yrs. this Dec. and it just gets better with age. You talked of gardening as you get older, well I'm 55 and didn't get really gardening until 3 yrs. ago, and I am so excited about it all. This year I planted our retirement orchard with 28 fruit trees. Age slows you down but the love of gardening is still there.
So great to see my favorites together! Laura, I love late April in North and South Carolina. The Biltmore gardens are incredible that time of year and the beaches aren't too crowded yet.
I love what you are saying about following other RUclipsrs even though they are in different zones and it's ok. I'm in WNC, so a lot of what you plant applies to me- and of course the red clay issues, too. And of course, I love Garden Answer- I watch them every day. Another new favorite is Huw Richards in Wales who is more about permaculture- he is so informative and interesting. I think we can learn so much from other perspectives whether or not you all agree on approaches or placement. Learn from everyone!
@@happierinthesunshine I am in Delaware. Although my zone allows me to grow most of Laura"s plants, our growing conditions are more like Jenny's. Clay, humidity and powdery mildew! I find inspiration from both.

Love to watch you both…each a different & dynamic personality & garden friend to help me make my little patch on this planet my own paradise - lovingly inspired by my favorite two ladies on social media! ❤️🌷❤️🌸❤️🌻❤️🌺
Love this!!! The four of you need to stay connected. This was like watching 2 best friends that haven't seen each in awhile catching up on the front porch having tea!🤗
Such a great video! I decided to grow dahlias after seeing your success last year. I planted calendula in-between the plants after I noticed the earwig pressure and ta-da! I actually planted them as a "trap crop" but they brought in hoverflies, ladybugs, and other great beneficials and saved my dahlias this year! I don't use any type of insecticide as the whole point of my garden is the bees. I grew up in the south and know all about that red clay! My grandmothers used cardboard under their vine crops to keep the red at bay. Atlanta Georgia suffered an ice storm in 1973 (I was 13) that shut us down! That was a crazy time! Thank you for sharing your lives and this sit-down chat! 💗
@@GardeningwithCreekside I had a local gardener here in Tennessee who writes gardening blogs etc. tell me that Calendula would not do well in our heat and humidity. I'd like to try that between the dahlias. I do get earwigs some, not a crazy amount, but I also get white flies pretty bad and sometimes slugs but I use a feed and treat for the slugs that works wonders! Thank you ladies for doing this video. Loved it! Been watching Laura and Aaron for over a year and started watching Gardening with Creekside when Laura mentioned you garden in my zone! Woohoo.
