Beautiful beyond words. What kind of irrigation do you use. I have been researching how to irrigate some of my flowerbeds without an elaborate irrigation system. I am so confused by it all.

I live 2 hours east of Tracy. We haven't gotten 4 inches of rain probably all summer. It peters out right before it gets to our county. Sad for her family this year. But God has blessed her.

Oh my goodness, we got 5" in 24 hour's just yesterday. Tracy's garden our sooooooooo very beautiful. just plum magical. I love in northeastern Oklahoma.
My favorite garden video in a long time! Beautiful garden! Advice for voles. I like you tried EVERYTHING. I got to where I did not plant without plant skyd and gravel in the hole, but even that was not full proof and they would still tear up my lawn. So a farmer down the street told us get a cat. Bam! It worked. We are not vole/mole free yet but close. Absolutely nothing works like a CAT! Get a garden cat or even two. They will wipe that population out! How do I know. The moles/voles get left on my porch almost daily as an offering. By the way praise your kitties when they bring you gifts. They love it and will go get more. Plus I love how they follow me around in the garden. My buddies Yoda and Luke (son named them) have even alerted me to a copperhead nearby.

Beautiful garden! My first time in MI, went to visit my cousins. Their weather keeps their flowers bigger. Very little heat or humility. Very little fungus, very little bugs. Compared to zone 8 or higher. I would move there if it wasn't so cold.
I’m jealous of how you can just plant everything in sun up there. The hostas! Everything in my zone 7B is fried after the 4th of July. It makes me so sad and then in late September I am happy again.
Beautiful yard and home! FYI no animal will be scared off because of dogs! We have problems with voles and rabbits and we have dogs that chase them with determination! So many rabbits and they both cause so much damage 😤

Did you say she has a RUclips channel if so what is it? Her yard is fabulous! I lived in Ohio once upon a time and they have the best dirt and beautiful evergreens there.
You need a great hunter cat for those voles. My cat brings me mice or chipmunks all the time and even patrols my greenhouse. I love the grow light in the sconce.
She needs an outdoor cat. The orange-white striped cats are great hunters. I no longer have a vole or a bunny issue. They all moved out since my cat took over.

Try human hair for Voles, cut it up fine They hate it on their nose. Go to your hair dresser for a load of hair and trim up in little bits and sprinkle it in the beds

I lived in Michigan for 20 years. Summer is nice but the is not. Unless you do outdoor sports. Had great neighbors there.
