I just love how down to Earth you are. Kind and educational. No matter how big your following has become you haven’t changed. Your real and that is why I continue to watch your channel. Thank you for all your hard work.
Thanks for sharing ! It was hard to stay focused because of how stunning the backdrop is ! All of that lush green, it almost looked like the back was staged… breathtaking! ❤
Hello, Jenny❤. I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day! I want to take this opportunity to say “Thank You” to you, Jerry, and the Creekside team for the valuable content that you continue to provide in such a loving way. God bless and keep all of you! ❤
I am sooo jealous! The garden centers around my area don't carry more than half a dozen Proven Winners plants and they aren't even half the size of those. I could have so much fun with that choice of plants.
The garden centers and big box stores in my area (southeastern NC) don't have even a quarter of those plants. I've learned that some local garden centers don't stock many PW varieties. The blue and orange box stores get some PW annuals. I have better luck finding PW shrubs. I get excited to see such beautiful flowers, then I can't find them. I quit buying regular petunias because they don't perform as well as supertunias. I HATE deadheading and grooming petunias.
You can order plants online, which is a great option! I typically order from both Proven Winners and Proven Winners Direct. Two seperate companies, not directly affiliated. However...Proven Winners disappointed me recently with not wanting to replace a plant that was missing from the delivery and a handful of others that arrived in poor shape. I expected much better customer service from them!
Good Morning Jenny! I pray that you had a lovely Mother's Day. All the plants are gorgeous. I definitely see a few that I would like to add to my garden.
Good morning, Jenny ☕️Looks like another “all hands on” project for sure! It’s going to look stunningly gorgeous 😍Can’t wait to see the drone footage from Jerry. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐶
Wow, Jenny! What an extraordinary embarrassment of riches of perennials! So excited to see your berm all planted up with these beauties! And can't wait to go to my local nursery to find more for my own urban garden. Thanks for sharing them all and their various characteristics with us to help us make our gardens more beautiful.
Good Morning Jenny, I love your videos and the information you provide. I am from Canada and always wanted to see your nursery. I finally will get the change driving back from Florida in June. I will be making a detour to Creekside. I can hardly wait. Kathryn
Hi Jenny! Saturday hubby put in my elderberry bushes. They needed to be put in the ground. Their roots were coming out of the bottom of the pots and digging into the ground below. 3yrs. old. Our NC dirt is a hot mess. I have clay in one part of the yard and and sand in the other. Thank goodness for the Auger. We love it. It made the job a lot easier. Thank you and your husband for the garden knowledge. Take care.
The Raspberry Monarda in your display gardens absolutely caught me off guard - in a good way! I noticed it in your videos before, but when I walked by the plant in person, I was blown away. 😍🌸 I had a list of annuals for our first visit, but the next visit will be for perennial shopping. 😀🌱
I have the old-fashioned red hot pokers. I just chopped them back to about 6 inches. Cause we won't get blooms till summer. I let them stay up all year and let the leaves help cover the crown for winter then trim them all back in the spring. Planted in full sun around the pond. They look like little tiki torches going around the pond in the summer. Zone 6 they do great every year.
Hi Jenny! I live in zone 8b and have very little shade so this info was very useful for me! Thx for featuring so many full sun perennials! I will be referring to this video often.
I love it. You read my mind you started to show the names of the plants as you started to describe them! Sometimes it's hard to catch the name. Thank you. Also, I live in Charlotte, we have a lot of deer here and my house happens to be on their walking trail. I've been to Creekside a couple of times and I couldn't help but wonder how you keep deer and rabbits away in all that beautiful open space. I would truly appreciate any secrets you can share. Thank you for all your very informative videos. Have a wonderful day!
Cut your sedum back by half, half way though the season to really give them strong stems. Take your cuttings and stick them straight in the ground, and you'll have more plants too!!
Your description of the plants is so helpful. I’d love it if you would also add the bloom time and duration of the blooms for each plant. Thank you so much. You always do a great job educating us!
Not sure if you'll see this since its so past the date this video was done. I just wanted to say thank you so much for your wisdom and knowledge. I am so inspired by you. I have been following for the last year now and my garden thanks to you and Garden Answer, has transformed my space. I appreciate so much since you talk about plants within my zone 9B-10A. so many channels out there including Garden Answer who because of their zone do not introduce these plants/flowers as you do. So thank thank thank you!!!!
Wow! I just received my order from Holland and the tiny bare roots are disappointing next to your haul. But, I watched you guys pot up plenty of bare roots to become gorgeous plants. 🤞
I'm so excited about this! I got some of my favorite ever shrubs after your recommendations! Little Henry is a winner for any place in my extremely humid garden, but especially in the boggy spots that only the hydrangeas like!
Happy mothers day... I can't wait to see all of these planted at the berm. You gave me the perfect idea for a front sunny area I need to garden. I deff will add serendipity allium in mine
Love it!! I’m so jealous….our PW plants availability here in NSW is rather limited compared to what is available in the states, so I’m always on the lookout with a keen eagle-eye just waiting to pounce on a PW plant 😂😂😂. Bron NSW, Australia
Gosh, my garden is planted out for this year, but I would dearly love to have room for some of these beauties. What a selection. Love the new nepeta. Thanks for all the information.
Gardener's brain! We can look at plants and totally see what they will look like in 2-3 years. Even when others look at our garden and say "it looks a little sparce". Not!
Thank you for all your knowledge. Not very experienced with perennials. Could you possibly do a segment on how to cut back various perennials in the fall?
I actually have given up growing Bee Balm. I was so careful, even trying to ensure that there is good airflow and not watering from above, i.e. all the precautions that come with growing this type of plant. I wonder if this new one has improved? Otherwise , there are so many other plans we can enjoy! (Zone 5) 🌸❤️🇨🇦
Hi Andie! Where are you located at ? As Eileen said below, good airflow is really important. The Leading Lady but also Pardon My series was really bred to be more mildew resistant. I also like to add compost to my garden beds when they are dormant in winter. They don't like it too wet either and need to have a natural cycle of wet- dry phases. If you have irrigation I recommend that you turn it off every once in a while to really let it dry up.
@@MsDisnyfan I agree. Leading lady is a bit more loose. Maybe you should also give the newest plant a try : Its called Monarda UPSCALE 'Red Velvet' and its more more loose. I have it in my garden in 7b Durham next to my AC unit and have never seen any mildew on it!
I had the experience here 8n zone 6 sw Pa. Saw the beautiful colors and bought 4 and lost all of them. Just heard Jenny say they don't like a lot of water so I don't know if I might of watered them too much ??? Hate the money I wasted.
One that isn't talked about enough is the senorita rosalita spider plant! I picked it up on a whim at my garden center. It is so pretty, nice mound shape, tons of unique flowers constantly, and holds its own against a lantana! Zone 9a gulf coast.
@@GardeningwithCreekside oh that's right is is labeled as an annual! I've never had it before but it says hardy zone 10-11 so I am going to try to keep it as a perennial.... Things like the PW rocking salvia series and the PW lantanas reliably come back every year for me, so fingers crossed!
I just love how down to Earth you are. Kind and educational. No matter how big your following has become you haven’t changed. Your real and that is why I continue to watch your channel. Thank you for all your hard work.

Love, love, love, the longer video with all of the gorgeous plants!

Embarrassment? What?
