I'm growing a small Bougainvillea and a pot and I'm afraid I'm going to kill it because I don't know how much to water it or how often. I'm in Houston Texas so we have brutal Summers and 2 weeks of winter
Water once everyday. Add cocopit or other natural manual. Ensure the pot has well drainage outlets. You should be able to see new growth after every now and then, they are fast growing plants. Only when the root system is well established you can stop everything your to allow maximum flower blossoms 🌸 . We stop irrigating bougainvillea all together even here in the tropics when the plant is big enough because we are interested with the flowers.

You didn’t say what fertilizer you use. I need to know I guess I’ll look elsewhere.
I use Nutricote 18-6-8 from Florikan.
