By focusing on the top, the plant redirects its energy to the side branches, which helps produce more flowers and keeps it fuller. When I cut deeper into the plant, it takes a longer time to start flowering again. If you cut half or more of the branches, it might even take up to a year before it blooms again. Regular light trimming keeps the flowers coming without such long delays! Hope this help 💚
That’s normal, she will come back in spring, reduce the watering, water only when the soil is almost dry to avoid root rot; she doesn’t have much water because no leaves. I water mine maybe twice during winter and nothing else. You can also prune now if you want to give her a new look or shape. If you need more info, let me know
