    Really considering getting some... I struggle with painful feet. Nice “Show and Tell” Neil, very informative as always. 🤘🏼

      Thanks Ronaldo, they are definitely an improvement for thin, less cushioned shoes.

    I have never used an insole. I thought about it but, once I started skating the Adidas Tyshawn's my feet have felt great.
    Wish I would have had some with the eS Swift 1.5. loved skating that shoe but the buy the end of the day my feet where beat.

      My feet began hurting a lot when I started skating again after so long without especially from jumping from the coping to the flat on transition when bailing from tricks like board slides and rock n rolls, I agree the Adidas comfort is fantastic but a lot of others not so much.

      @@NeilHesterSkateboarding I don't do a lot of tricks on obstacles that would cause impact. I mostly get beat up from all the small impacts of trying a trick over and over again.

      I can sympathise with that too, also the underside of my big toe on both feet get sore after a 4 hour session and not even the insoles help with that, think it might be my feet shifting around in my socks.

    I’ve been thinking about getting some of these. My biggest question. Do these wear out around the same time shoes do? Or are you able to put these through more than one pair of shoes? Thanks.

    • @NeilHesterSkateboarding
      @NeilHesterSkateboarding  3 года назад +3

      They last a really long time, much longer than shoes, I’m about by I make a follow up video soon.

      Great to hear. That was my biggest hold up from getting some. Now it’s just forking out that much. (I’m cheap 😂). Thanks so much.

    Do you think those would be good to play basketball in? I’m wondering if they will make my foot set up too high in the shoe

    • @NeilHesterSkateboarding
      @NeilHesterSkateboarding  2 года назад +1

      I don’t see any reason why not, I actually use them in some skate shoes that don’t have removable insoles, I just put them on top and they are fine and don’t feel high but it’s going to really depend between different shoe models.

    how well is the board feel compared to vans pop cush?

    • @NeilHesterSkateboarding
      @NeilHesterSkateboarding  3 года назад +1

      To be honest I don’t really feel any difference between these and popcush , just takes until these warm up under your feet heat to soften up like the vans.

      No only the orthotics should be warmed up, the elites are soft and mould to your foot shape naturally.

    Did the elite kingfoam work good? I have vans chukka lows.. i wonder if kingfoam elites will fit in my shoe...
    I have vans ultracush atm

    • @NeilHesterSkateboarding
      @NeilHesterSkateboarding  3 года назад +1

      Hi, they will fit Vans shoes with ultracush as they are actually almost the same kind of profile. the Kingfoam elites are better than the ultracush and new popcush but not by a whole lot.

    • @NeilHesterSkateboarding
      @NeilHesterSkateboarding  3 года назад +2

      @@DmanGuitar327 with fallen arches definitely go for the orthotics. Nothing else is the same for arch issues. For non arch issues I would only bother with kingfoam elites and as I say they are only marginally better than vans ultracush or popcush.

      I definitely think so, the ball of my foot was getting pretty bruised from bailing on vert ramps and these totally resolved that👍🏻
